The good: This is a convenient cafe in the mall if you don't have time to walk all the way to the food court like in my case. I got the banana matcha drink. I liked how they had seasonal drink offerings. The matcha was refreshing. They had food and snacks as well. There's indoor seating but also "outdoor" seating in the mall area in front of Nordstrom's. The bad: The banana tasted like artificial candy banana. The interesting: It's dark and kind of moody inside. I feel like the aesthetic isn't distinct nor as sleek as Nordstrom itself. read more

Went and had to try the infamous grilled cheese . Problem I had with it is that the tomato 'soup' was more of a tomato bisque (orange color bethere'ss probably cream in it: beware lactose folks!). Bisques should be on the more savory side but that 'soup' was wildly acidic. I used the soup as a dip for the grilled cheese which countered it a bit, the grilled cheese by itself was pretty good, but that soup - what are you supposed to do with it being so acidic? The crackers didn't absorb enough to finish it, dipping it didn't finish the soup. So you end up with a bad ratio of soup to grilled cheese, have fun eating spoonfuls of acidic tomato soup, no thank you. read more

Grilled cheese with tomato soup and the Carrot Blossom Refresher $20.61 for my total, pricey for just 2 items I think First time ordering a grilled cheese and was surprised the grilled cheese is in the fridge in front with the salads and you need to grab it for them to heat it up for you. The taste is pretty good: buttery, savory, good cheese pull. The tomato soup was just okay, it was creamy and more of an orange color than a red. My guess is they added cream. Doesn't quite taste like tomato bisque though? I guess I like a dipping soup to be slightly thicker. However if you just drink the tomato soup by itself, it's delicious the first few sips but then it becomes too acidic tasting. Tastes better with grilled cheese. I think kids and adults will find it delicious anyway. 4/5 The drink was pretty good. If you don't like orange juice that's on the sour side then you might not like it. I've visited Nordstrom E-Bar Artisan Coffees a couple of times now. The first time, I tried their lavender chai latte, and it made me realize I'm not really a chai person. Its just not my cup of tea, haha. My friend loves it, so if you're a chai fan, you might enjoy it! I came back recently to try something different, and I had their Mocha Blanco iced coffee. It was amazing...creamy, perfectly sweet, and I could really taste both the coffee and the mocha. I also swapped in oat milk, which made it extra creamy and delicious. What really stood out was the service. The guy who helped us was incredibly friendly and funny, which was really charming and made the experience even better. It's located right outside Nordstrom, so it's super convenient. This Mocha Blanco has definitely become one of my go-to coffees when I'm at the mall! Went above and beyond to help us with our order, and it was everyone behind the counter that would greet when someone would come in. The grilled cheese sandwich was a 10/10. My daughter loved it and she's a very picky eater. The mocha banana was a 10/10 also I wasn't a fan of the turkey croissant sandwich , but it wasn't bad either. I have yet to witness two great customer service All Stars work in tandom like these two did. My guest indicated her Italian mocha was incredible as was my chai latte. Kymorah and Maverick had an infectious vibe, and great personalities to boot. You just know when it's disingenuous and fake. These two were the polar opposite and epitome of authentic.... in short, the real deal! It's Nordstrom. High expectations considering it's a pricey department store. Coffee drinks are good. Tea drinks are decent. Other refreshers are also morally acceptable, too. There are a few pastries that I liked. I got blueberry muffin(a bit sweet for my liking), chocolate chip( I love the top part) and orange loaf with poppy seed(minimal flavor and sweet for my taste) But they have favorable texture for muffins and loaf. The croissant is ok and they taste better because of the good coffee they serve. Their customer support has met my clientele needs by providing friendly and effective assistance. Smile is vital when interacting with customers as it promotes positive energy or emotions and improved social interactions. Lots of space or seating area both in or outside. To the woman at the register who was extremely rude and saw me with my toddler - was waiting for a bagel that I ordered for him, first one got burned in the toaster which happens not a big deal - the man said he will remake it - waiting a total of 20 mins for the bagel. I kindly told the gentlemen who was waiting in line that I just want to grab my bagel real quick that had just finished toasting. The woman says ' it's not ready yet, and we'll give it to you over there ' gestures to the pickup area. I told her i see that it's ready, the woman behind her kindly gives me the bagel. If you come to the Del Amo Shopping Mall early during morning hours at the opening, you will find that this is one of those places that are open before its competitors. Nordstrom always do a great job of ensuring their own coffee shops/cafes a success. Good atmosphere. Great spot to sit inside to enjoy coffee and pastries. Comfortable, clean, and modern inside. Staffs were ready to help. Beverages and food items look great. Customers do line up quickly during first hour. Maybe folks are really up for breakfast items and hot beverages. Cup looks nice in presentation. Hot brewed coffee tastes great. Note, when checking out at front counter, display screen doesn't allow you to skip the tipping option, even if you're just purchasing a regular cup of coffee and nothing else with it. It can upset customers who just want to grab item and go. Not sure if anyone else experienced it before, but tipping should be optional here since you carry everything on your own. All the drinks are fun, healthier and made as you order, they do have food items you can choose from the refrigerator and anything that needs heating they will do that for you. I have been to various Nordstrom Ebars, including this location and it consistently delivers across the boards. Great service, drinks, and snacks. I normally get the sparkling pomegranate lemonade but today I felt like coffee. I actually have never had a vanilla latte here, or any type of coffee here, for that matter. It's delicious! I don't know why I haven't tried one until today but will definitely keep that in mind when I go shopping and want a pick me up. My latte kept getting better and better as I continued to sip. It's so good. I seriously don't know why I've never tried it here. I also feel like whenever I do go to a Nordstrom Ebar, they are very accommodating. This commitment to customer service was non-existent. My mother said her Mother's Day was ruined by the girl's unnecessary attitude. We went on May 12, 2024 Mother's Day during 1pm, there was only a few customers ahead of my mom's. My mom's order was all together under "gina" as the name. The first drink was labeled with the right name Gina, but the next drink was labeled Gigi... My mom went up to confirm if this is her drink as it is labeled a different name and to not take someone else's drink, and was met with a tone of "If you ordered Matcha, then that's it." My partner and I stopped by this mall on our way to Orange County to shop and venture around . He was craving coffee over my matcha craving, so we decided to stop by Nordstrom's coffee bar. My partner wanted to get a custom drink and the workers were so kind, attentive and helpful! Aside from the new department store, new Bazille restaurant, Nordstrom Del Amo has also brought us Nordstrom E-bar! Adjacent to the first floor of Nordstrom Del Amo is Nordstrom's little coffee shop. They serve handcrafted coffee beverages (lattes, americanas, mochas etc), housemade smoothies, pastries, cookies, grab-and-go sandwiches, salads and snacks. When I stopped by, it looked like I wasn't the only coffee fan in the house because the coffee shop was never lacking customers. There was continuous but fast moving line. I got myself their featured item of the day, the pumpkin spice mocha. A small cost me $5.05 ( a little pricier than their other drinks because it is a seasonal special). The mocha flavor was pretty strong and overpowered the pumpkin flavor but nevertheless a great tasting coffee. Hmm Nordstrom's Del Amo is my new department store crush...i liked them already for shopping. I liked them even more for Bazille. Now I really like them because of E-bar. read more

I usually get a latte with a pump of vanilla but I decided to venture out and get a mocha with 1 pump of syrup and asked them to tone down the sugar in the other parts of the drink. My drink took a while and the barista explained when I went to pick up my drink that there are many components to the drink that's why it takes longer than others. The mocha was decadent and rich and not too sweet but sweet enough. I may not get this every time I go because it's so decadent and rich but next time they run out of their Creme brûlée bars and I want dessert in a cup I'll opt for the Salted Caramel Mocha. The crem brûlée bar and the bar are so freaking good and at $2.75/$3 they're reasonable. Those are my go to desserts. The chicken sandwich was surprisingly hearty and yummy. It's Opening Day! The new eBar is open and it is a REAL coffee and pastry shop now. Gone is the little kiosk strangely parked in the corner (as it was at the South Bay Galleria). Here, we have a legit large and moodily lit coffee store. In addition to selling coffee, tea and specialty drinks and pastries, this eBar sells mugs, carafes and coffee beans. Again, people are lining up today like New Yorkers craving their morning joe. I gather the excitement will die down in a few weeks and this might be a good place to catch up with old friends. read more

I stopped off here for a "coffee" after lunch. It is located directly to the right hand side of Nordstrom's, since it is their cafe. I ordered the Italian mocha because it sounded like something different. It was actually very good. The chocolate they use tastes of high quality. It should. With tax, my drink cost $5, for a "tall." Strange how the cup felt heavy, but the drink was very light. I pretty much one sipped it. They have their own seating within the cafe, but because of all the holiday shoppers, there were not any tables available. The condiment stand was a pig sty, with trash left all over the place. Obviously the rest of the clientele could not make it into the waste baskets. Fortunately, they have more tables located outside the cafe. read more
