I always drove past this store but thought to myself AHHHH I'll go to the one by my house. But I regret not coming here sooner. They had bunch of dress options and colorful ones too. Variety of sized. Men's dress shirts were so organized and well stocked!!! Kids section was bigger than most (I think) and I just fall in love with this store. At the checkout stand, I was very displeased with the young Asian girl with glasses how rude and unprofessional she was. She clearly does not belong before any customers. She didn't greet me and was very rude by throwing the receipt at me. She was very awkward and rolled her eyes at me at the very end as of "Why are you still here??" Extremely Rude and unacceptable! On a different occasion, other staff like one (at the checkout stand) Spanish lady was Very unknowledgeable and unprofessional. She never asked me if I wanted to put my purchase on my Nordstrom card, I really wanted to earn those points. I particularly needed to have her email me the receipt of my purchase but instead she took it upon her self as to what I wanted, she completed the transaction and then said yelled "Whoops, too late!!!" Normally I can't stand chaos in a store - but at this particular Nordstrom Rack I've repeatedly turned the rack chaos into a serious financial boon. I've walked out of here paying $1 for a blouse before because it had no tag and the salesperson couldn't figure out what price it should be. No such luck to be had on the designer bags (rats) but you can still get a wicked discount. The shoe section is usually a big miss - at least for my taste in footwear. Some ugly-ass shoes end up here. A nice discovery was that in addition to the expected bottles of fragrances was a nice selection of cosmetics at a lot cheaper than you'll fork over at Nordstrom, Sephora, or other shops. read more

Who needs Nordstroms when you have Nordstrom Rack down the street. Amazing selection of clothes, at a much more affordable price. Great customer service, and a dressing room that lets you take in 15 items at a time (and yes, you will have that many items) has me sold. Love the location, it's close (but not to close) to the mall/restaurants/movies. read more

This store is VERY organized. Shoes are all in their own shoe boxes unlike the very messy Nordstrom Rack in Sterling. I didn't find anything today but I will definitely be going back :) The only bad part of this Nordstrom Rack is that this store made the entire shopping center very packed. This is a pretty nice location as it's huge and you can get designer brands for cheap, without it being as messy and run down as Marshall's and TJ Maxx (though I do like those places too!). The organization of the women's clothes confuses me a little - like what the heck is misses and casual and sportswear and athletic apparel? Though I tend to just stop walking into a section when the clothes look too old or too young for me. They have a huge shoe section and lots of accessories like purses, watches, and jewelry. It's nice to have another clothing store outside of the mall. In terms of finding stuff it's usually hit or miss for me. read more

What's not to love about a store with amazing clothes at reasonable prices?!?!? This Nordstrom Rack is located in a strip mall in Fair Lakes right by Old Navy and Barnes and Noble. This location is pretty big and always has a good selection of clothes and shoes. It is also always very organized and clean. They also always have good items on the clearance rack which is where I always head to first. They have a great return policy and don't hassle you when you want to return something. i brought a coat and took the tags off, bt never wore it. They let me return it with no issue. I also really like how they email your receipt to you. This is super convenient and makes returns easy. It also saves trees, so it's a win win. read more

I'm not reviewing a particular store. This review is for the corporate customer service for Nordstrom's Rack. I wish I could give a negative number of stars. I ordered a parka online in January. It arrived with a broken zipper and the quality was very poor. I had to call to get the return started. I was only given one option to return it because there are no stores within 100 miles of my home. I had to pay to print the shipping label and could only return it at the post office during the pandemic. I returned it within 3 days. I waited a month for my refund. No refund. I called customer service and was told they didn't know where it was but they would refund my credit card in full on February 25. They charged me an additional $5.95 for the shipping even though I was not allowed to choose my shipping method. I called 6 times and was hung up on supposedly because their phones had problems. you cannot talk to the US team at Nordstrom's. They transfer rack calls overseas where my calls were dropped. I contacted them on March 23rd and was told shipping was refunded immediately due to the terrible service. A manager assured me a refund to my credit card was issued. I'd see my refund in a week. on April 8, I was told they gave me a store credit but they issued a refund that day and I'd see it in 48 hours. It was on April 29, I was told I was given a store credit previously as a courtesy. They once again escalated my request and they now say, I'll get my refund later today. I'll update when I see my refund. I'm not holding my breath. I've asked several times if they are going out of business and can't afford to give me $5.95. Never, ever, ever will I buy anything from Nordstrom's or Nordstrom's rack! read more

I have been shopping at this Nordstroms Rack for years and have until today had been happy with it. I purchased 2 dress shirts and after realizing they didn't fit after I took them home I attempted to take them back unworn. Nordstroms is supposed to be known for its liberal return policy and I have returned things in the past with no issues. This time the lady told me I couldn't return or exchange my shirts because the tags were removed (they were in the bag). I asked if their policy had changed and she said it had not. Very disappointing experience. All I wanted to do is exchange a new shirt for another size. If they don't live up to their reputation I have no reason not to buy online where I can find anything they have for less. read more

Just disappointing in every way. I have shopped at Nordstrom since they opened here in the 80s and have always been pleased with the quality and price of items. I only wish that they had translated their amazing customer service to the Rack. I will get my major gripes out first: there are THREE racks of clothes for plus sizes. The lingerie section has NOTHING in a 2x or higher. This is just not acceptable considering there are maybe a hundred racks that are for "regular" sizes. So this leaves clothing off of my list. The jewelry section always look like it has been ransacked by wild bulls. The necklaces are tangled, nothing is arranged by brand, and oftentimes items are broken or missing a stone so be sure to check! The handbag section is hit or miss. If you are a Kors fan, you are in luck. If you are not, then there is little to choose from. Again, this section always looks like a pack of wild bulls have just ran through it. Lastly, this location has an extremely small home goods and personal beauty section. The shoe section is the only redeeming quality of this location. The shoes are constantly put away so it is easy to find your size. They carry women's sizes up to a 13 which is nice, because larger shoes are hard to find. I have a daughter who wears an 11 so this is a go to place to shop for her as they have more selection than DSW. The checkout process is horiffic... you can try to find someone in a green shirt that has a mobile device to check out or you can wait in a really long line. I went during the day on a weekday this week and the line was more than 10 deep with two people working the registers. Unfortunately, the one I got was just so rude. I asked her if I could use my Nordstrom debit card for my purchase and I got such a rude reaction. It was really weird, like I had asked her to pay for it out of her own pocket. I couldn't believe the treatment so I paid with my regular debit card, to which she said that she didn't look up my account because I would have needed ID for that. Maybe she should have asked for ID. Did she think I walked there and had no ID? Before I even left the counter, she started with a syrupy sweet greeting to the person next in line. This was as she was shoving the receipt into my bag and rudely passing it over. Customers expect to be treated better than this. It really isn't my fault that there is a long line with no end in sight but don't take out your aggression on me. read more

The staff here are impeccably dressed and offer such service that you'd never guess you're getting a huge discount on clothes. I have a hard time finding dress shirts that fit my frame. With a larger neck size, long arms, and a thin torso, I find that most shirts balloon out way too much. I asked about how sizes ran and was given some great recommendations. Dressing room attendants also didn't bat an eye when I wanted to try on nine different shirts. They also unfolded them all and took out the pins, bringing them to me in the dressing room when I was done. Great service and excellent prices on stuff I would never pay full price for. read more

If, in your mind, you can compeltely separate Nordstom Rack from Nordstrom, you'll have a good experience here. Nordstrom Rack is more like Loehmanns, and a lot less like Nordstrom. You can definitely find some great deals on first-quality designer clothes here, like Michael Kors, Tahari, and Calvin Klein. Rack is a lot of fun to go browse through, but like with any discount store, go in with low expectations. read more

Forget going to regular Nordstroms, just come here. If you don't mind being one season behind, it's perfect. Like if a designer changes a shirt design from five pointed dull stars to five with a sharper point, and you are OK with that, then go. You absolutely need time here to dig through the insanity, but it's well worth it when you find that pant that you spent $300 at regular Nordstroms last month is now marked down to 140. Nordstrom Rack is a great store to go if you're not looking for something in particular. If you're looking for something in particular, chances are you won't find it. If you go in not looking for specifics, you'll probably end up finding something really cool. I do have some issues with this store. As a plus size woman, I don't feel having four racks in your whole store is enough, especially since the average woman is around a 10-14. I also wear a size 11 shoe, the average woman is around an 8, yet sized 10 and up make up less than 1/3 of the shoes in stock. Also I believe they could do a better job organizing the sale and cosmetics sections. I often find jewelry tangled into knots, clothes on the wrong racks, and shoes thrown about as well as makeup that looks destroyed. I understand it's clearance but someone will buy it so it should look nice! Overall it's a good place for a good bargain, just don't go in with a strategy. read more

This is my favorite Nordstrom Rack in the Northern Virginia area. It is spacious, clean/uncluttered and they have a great business and athletic selection, which is important to me. The things I do not like about this location are that there are many racks labeled with just sizes, rather than brands, so you have to have a lot of time to shop and sort through the clothes and that their beauty section is not as good as other NR locations. The few times I've gone the clothes have always been organized and not all over the floor. They have a nice selection of clothes and shoes at good prices. Most of employees there are very nice and friendly. The Sunday I went it was super busy and everyone who worked there managed well. A girl named Samantha was working the dressing room with had huge lines. She did a great job juggling the tasks of getting people rooms and then taking clothes people didn't want at the same time. Samantha was so nice too. When I was checking out my clothes the older woman and the tall young man next to her were nice and actually talked/engaged with customers which is nice to see. Just wish that there was a little bit more effort made in making sure that the clothes are arranged with the sizes stated on the racks.
