Great prices on nice clothes that is nicely organized compared to other discounted stores. Compared to stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, it is MUCH easier to find things you like, plus they have better brands and a GREAT selection of shoes. Expect to pay a little more for better quality merchandise. Whenever I am searching for a certain type of shoe, I ALWAYS find exactly what I'm looking for here. The store was clean and organized which I appreciated, the lines moved quickly and the associates seemed helpful (I didn't interact with them very much). I was very disappointed in their clothing selection, everything seemed very boho which I suppose is the style? But not what I associate Nordstrom rack with. Heard about this place from a friend of mine and I decided to order a pair of shoes for my hubby. I wanted to surprise him for his birthday. They told me the delivery would take two days but that was not the case. When I called to ask about my purchase they told me the item had already been delivered. The customer service at this store is flat out nonexistent, with some of the rudest people working there. The store manager Nate is horrible and down right unprofessional. He will yell at you in front of other customers when the tailor at the store he is managing ruined a $1000 Moncler coat and you just want him to fix the mess he did. After a whole unnecessary ordeal, we encountered each other again at the register months later on Christmas Eve when he rang me up. He did not even greet me or say a single word. I felt unwelcomed and uncomfortable. His subordinates were far more friendly and professional than him, at least greeting and thanking their customers. His rudeness and mean demeanor completely ruined my Christmas spirit. This is not the way a store manager should behave. Anyways, because the store is literally 2 mins away from me I frequent the store a lot. The additional 25% clearance sales are awesome, but because the dressing rooms are so small and always busy during these sales, I take everything home to try on in the comfort of my own home. So i come back with some of the items that I disliked. Anyways, I was trying to return a Northface Fleece sweater a few days ago and the sales clerk Doris P gave me the worst experience I've ever had while shopping. First, she accused me of having worn the item even though the original tag was still attached. I told her I tried it at home and she still insisted I had worn it because of the few strands of hair that was on the fleece sweater (the natural of this type of fabric is to attract anything!). I told her again I tried it on and maybe thats why the hair got stuck. While inspecting the item in a disgusted way, she rolled her eyes. I told her she didn't have to roll her eyes and thats when she started to argue with me. The manager on duty had arrived and Doris kept going back and forth, talking back to me, making a scene. I told her she didn't have to keep going back and forth with me and thats when she FLAT OUT THREATENED ME!!!! Verbatim, she said "Watch it, you better watch yourself. Don't talk to me like that" when I was far more calm and collected than she was. The manager just stood there and looked like he didnt know what to do. I told him if he saw how his associate just interacted with a customer in front of his eyes. He unemotionally said he will definitely talk to her about it. I doubt it, he seemed pretty incompetent. I will never forget this experience and her exact words. I was terrified, I thought she was going to come out from the register and punch me in the face. I filled out a survey explaining everything in detail and no one from their upper management or corporate has reached out to me and this occurred 4 days ago. This is unacceptable, no customer should ever get threatened by a sales associate. I will not let this go, the customer service at this location is atrocious. Its one thing for an associate to accuse and argue with a customer but its another when they threaten them. I will definitely not return. As I was walking to my car, another customer that had witnessed what happened was equally horrified and told me to fill out the survey. After Nate, this altercation with Doris is the last straw. Customer service doesn't exist here, you would never think it was a part of the Nordstrom company. I would rather go to Saks Off Fifth 5 mins away. read more

So my wife goes in to buy a few misc items. The cashier takes her card, and charges the wrong amount. Then she says whoops, I charged the wrong amount. Let me do that again and somehow this idiot manages to charge the wrong amount again! So then my wife hands her the card back and and it declines. Well turns out the bank froze the card because of all the charging. So my wife comes home in tears and I call the store manager who precedes to give me an 800 number to call so I can find out what's going on with the charges. But the manager gives me the number for Nordstrom credit which of course can't help me. So I end up going to the store and paying cash. You would think this manager would offer me something for the inconvenience, a discount, a coupon for the future. Just something for the incredible inconvenience her and her staff have caused. But nope! She couldn't care less!!! What a shit show. Just people that don't know what they are doing handling money and managing stores. I stop by this location of Nordstrom Rack when I have to go to Whole Foods nearby, so pretty often. Many times, I will find something at a very good price, but the selection of clothing for men is not the same as I have found at Tysons and Arlington. It seems to be a smaller department, overall, likely because the Tysons store is a bit larger with mens clothing on the first floor. The staff have always been courteous to me, and I have gotten some excellent bargains, like Mephisto shoes for $60, a Vineyard Vines tie for $16, and other good values on shoes recently. read more

Good for now. These types of places always start off strong with a lot of product for the grand opening, then shortly after the 6 month mark, the store starts to look bare and the "sales" are few and far between. Other than that, Nordstrom Rack tends to be a good place for a few decent finds in the way of shoes and ties for me. read more

I've found some great deals here, including stuff even as low as a $1! The selection can be sometimes awesome, to "oh god most of this was here last month". Definitely a hit or miss at times when you're trying to find a good deal. Don't expect to find any gems without a hunt ; ) I'd say skip their shoe department since everything seems a bit too high to me, and most of the styles are hideous (and there for a reason). read more
