This is probably my second time visiting this Nordstrom Rack. I had an online return and it was really quick checkout despite the long line. This location used to be my favorite Rack to go to but after what happened the other day i will not be going back their ever again....I walked up to the dressing room with 2 pairs of pants to try on and the lady asked me to hang them up so she can count them i said sure, i went into the dressing room and started trying on my things when i could hear someone walking up, and that same lady that asked to count my 2 items lets this lady just go into the dressing room with 15 or 20 thing's without counting them, this store profiles people and that is wrong and completely inappropriate, ive been a shopper at Nordstroms since i was a kid my Dad used to get our school cloths there!!!!! Customer service here is a joke. I came here and spoke to a manager about selling me two different size toddler shoes to fit my special needs daughters AFO and was told they would do that for me. I was super excited went home got my daughter came back the next day only to be told they don't do that. Even though I explained my situation and that a manager had approved it the day before they still didn't approve it. The new manager on shift was rude and unhelpful. The cashier was smirking at me and rolling her eyes saying she's never heard of such thing as if I was lying. Obviously won't be shopping here again. read more

Don't waste your money here. The ugly attitude of the store clerk Alma was terrible. We were sold a sponge dish scrubber that was missing the handle where you put dish soap. She wouldn't allow us to exchange for something else yet they don't sell the handle to be able use the sponge. So we are stuck with these items unable to use them. This employee was so rude and inconsiderate and unfriendly! if she worked for me I'd fire her on the spot. Won't be back. read more

Not a bad place for brand name stuff, but honestly, the selections here aren't as great as the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to, it's kind of limited. I also am not a fan of having to dig for deals, but it has the name "rack" in it for a reason, right? This place is a hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for. read more

Came in wearing a face shield. A worker came up to me and said she would be getting me a mask, I kindly declined. She said I HAD to wear one and she was getting me one. I told her no I didn't have to wear one, I have a face shield and this is what I have to wear. She said she was getting the store manager then and left. I went to check out my things and the cashier was very short with me and seemed annoyed with me as well. The store manager never came up to me, but everyone shopping was aware of what just happened. I shouldn't be given any issues shopping here with a face shield, it's a CDC approved face covering & I shouldn't have to explain to a worker why I wear one. Absolutely ridiculous and controlling how they handled the situation. read more

How practical to have a Rack right off the Highway on the way back home from San Diego, said no man EVER, but being the good husband he is, he did. It's in a descent area with good shopping and food nearby which made it more worth stopping. It's a big, fairly new store, well stocked and lots of parking out front. Inside, a madhouse like always, lines going on forever, don't people get you can pay with any employee anywhere in the store? It has saved me hours. Bring patience and you will find great deals. read more

Popped in here for quick stop. Found some decent deals on a pair of pants and a thermal for about $60. On the regular the price at a normal Nordstrom probably would have cost over $100. No regrets here. The store was very organized as well and had a very clean dressing room area to try on the clothes. read more

Always find a good selection. Staff is friendly. Only complaint I would have is the line to checkout is kinda funky and confusing but not a deal breaker by any means. Gotta say I'm pretty disappointed. I come here pretty often to shop for work. That being said an associate recommended that I get their credit card through them. They listed off what sounded like some pretty awesome benefits and I trusted them, so I agreed to sign up. Once I revived the card and looked through the benefits on the card and found out they pretty much lied to me. I called customer service to see if they could help. They said there was nothing they could do, all I could do was close the card which would negatively affect my credit score. This all happens in about the course of a week. I really like this particular location. Great selection and I've found that employees are helpful and courteous. My last visit, I called and spoke with a manager to brag about how an employee treated me like I was the most important person in the store at that very moment. She was a superstar and excellent with customer service. Turned out she used to be a personal shopper at a high end boutique. That's obviously where she picked up her world class service. They are lucky to have her. One dislike would be that they've separated the designer shoes from their once secluded racks and now all mixed in. I liked how they used to be all in one area and that was my target zone as soon as I got there. Overall, one of my favorite places to shop. :) read more

This location just opened a couple of weeks ago and can I just say it's a GODSEND?? Nordstrom Rack isn't Nordstrom but hey, it's pretty damn close so I'll take it. I came in opening night with my husband and it was busy, but not packed. The shoe section is GLORIOUSLY HUGE, and they even have a separate section for designer shoes like Coach, Tory Burch, etc. Thank God! Temecula needed more shoe stores badly!! I ended up walking away with some gold Sperry boat shoes that I'm in love with, 25% off. The men's section in this store is hilariously tiny, but I'm really OK with that. My husband was able to find himself some Dockers (only $30) while I perused the rows and rows of designer handbags, sunglasses, jewelry, etc... He was even able to get into the fitting room! I didn't see anything I liked in the women's clothing section this time, but I am not writing it off yet. It was well stocked and organized. So rude. Checking out and cashier doesn't even acknowledge me- except for I can help you here. The just starts ringing up and talking to the cashier next to her. Okay not so bad but then she stops ringing me up as she gets further into her conversation with other cashier. Meanwhile I'm waiting for her to finish ringing me up. Bad enough she ignores me but then to make me wait while she has a random conversation - asking her how many kids she has etc. And to think she gets a paycheck for that! Was on line to pay and customers weren't distancing, person in front of me was all over the place and the rude woman behind me was breathing on my back. I mentioned it to the cashier and she said they have signs up and she "guessed they were not paying attention " . I WILL NOT go back any time soon. walked in with a mask on and was told to pull it up above my nose because that's "nordstrom's policy" so i started reading the mask policy displayed on the window which stated "mask must be worn in the store at all times". i WAS wearing my mask and it mentioned nothing about over your nose. i am already complying with the mask mandate which has no scientific backing--per the new swedish study stating masks do not reduce transmission of the disease--so for me to be told yet again another rule i must comply with is ridiculous. i walked around for a bit then left, to which the same girl at the door glared at me and didn't say anything, let alone a "bye, thank you". no customer service skills. i won't be shopping here again. in response to nordstrom's reply: i know you're only stating what corporate has told you but if masks worked, then obviously the only effective way would be to have it over your nose and mouth. i am stating the cloth masks normal people wear don't work because numerous studies have shown masks do not reduce transmission, and actually increase it in some cases. CDC is still studying the factors as to whether masks work or not by the way. you're not asking, you're demanding. read more

It's a hit or a miss with my visits here. Last visit was a hit after a few misses. I was able to find some Good American denim at like half off which is insane, Zella or Z by Zella, whatever they're the comfiest joggers and crewneck I now own. I got some basics by Halogen and even found some white vans perforated slipons. The BIGGEST tip I can give you is TRY BAREFOOT DREAMS BLANKETS. Yes, they're expensive, but buying them at NR you're saving so much money and they're the comfiest ever. I have three (2 of which I bought online from barefoot dreams) and my fiancé stole my leopard one, my dog will only sleep with the one I bought from NR and my full sized one is mine... for now. read more

I visited the store on 5-4-18 and was assisted by Ann-Marie V on reg. 1020. After finding a couple of items that I wanted to purchase I got in line. However, the line was extremely long. I noticed a Nordstrom employee on the phone in the shopping area, waited until she got off the phone and then asked if she could ring me up. Although, I had been standing there and she saw me when she got off the phone she turned to leave instead of asking if she could help me with anything since it was obvious I was waiting for her. She seemed really annoyed that I asked for her assistance and begrudgingly said she could ring me up. She rudely rang me up and I proceeded to leave only to have the door alarm go off because she did not bother to remove the security sensor. I believe that was done intentionally because she was annoyed that I requested her help. The girls that came to retrieve my bag to remove the sensor seemed equally annoyed, perhaps because the sensor went off. She grabbed my bag searched for the sensor removed it and hoisted it back at me with a thanks. Worst shopping experience ever. They even missed the mark on basic customer service skills. How about even started with a smile. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. I was happy when Nordstrom Rack came to Temecula but I must say the customer service in this location is the worst that I have ever experienced. I will drive all the way to San Marcos to shop in the future because they are sooo much better, friendlier, and helpful. For Nordstrom Administration: The only thing that differentiates you from your competitors is your level of service and this is something that Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack was known to provide but clearly this is no longer the case, hopefully you can do better in the future. read more

LINDA in the men's department is amazing!!!I we came in probably four days ago looking for a specific coat for my husband. I left my name and number not really expecting a call back as we could not find exactly what he was looking for as far as size and length....flash forward Linda contacted me today (again four days after) we were looking for his coat and she had found what we looking for in the managers office!!! For someone that doesn't work on commission and really didn't have to help us like this or to go to this extent to call back a guest just to help me find this dang coat is amazing! I'm so thankful for Linda and will be forever grateful and this coat is for my sisters wedding! Eeeek I just feel she needs praise as I've never been called back or treated like this kindly from a "corporate store" before!!! read more

I was really excited for this place to open, as I've been to the one in Mission Valley. But, disappointment! They had a lot of the same ugly clothing on the same racks. I don't care what color or size, there's a reason there was a ton leftover. And "clearance" rack to me means at least 75% off. I've been in retail for 13 years and that's the norm. I purchased 3 shirts and when I got home I noticed one shirt had been scanned twice and one (the cheapest one) had not been scanned at all. Not sure I want to go back for $2.......So much for those cashiers in green shirts...... read more

Love this store! Great stuff... however the workers are what really makes them exceptional!! It's hard shopping with 3 kids but Michelle L is so helpful and goes to such great lengths that I found my trip peaceful. She even helped me later find the same items I requested over the phone and gave me all their individual information. Amazing service! So sweet and patient too!! read more

If only Im able to give negative stars...My partner and I were trying to place a return for 4 items which totaled $139.95. We had receipts for all items. 3 of the items were purchased on our Nordstrom card and one item ($24) was purchased by his mom on her debit card which we didn't have with us. Since we shop at Nordstrom often and are at an Ambassador level we asked if we can just put everything on our Nordstrom card so we didn't have to get a gift card since we didn't have his moms debit card. Your manager Annette came from the back after being called by one of your cashiers and right from the get go already had some sort of a bias when she was helping us. Mind you we were just staying quiet but I was being short with her because she clearly wasn't trying to help us more so even give a smile! She also tells us "This isn't Nordstrom, it's Nordstrom rack" so is the level of customer service different? In the middle of the transaction she says "I'm trying to help you here and I would appreciate if you didn't have an attitude" in front of all your other customers during a busy hour! Which is completely unacceptable and embarrassing! I told her "I'm not having an attitude I'm being quiet specifically so I don't give you an attitude" She then proceeds to walk away and after asking for her name just completely ignores us. Another manager Kristy came up to finish the transaction. Being a Nordstrom customer for several years and spending thousands of dollars this is not the right way to treat your loyal customers. We came there to do a simple return for $139! And we're planning on shopping and spending 4x as much but left with a bad taste in our mouths. The best part, Annette and your security were waiting by the door making it seem like we were being shady. I went back and asked for the store managers business card. I'm a retail manager myself and have friends that are store managers at Nordstrom Rack. I hope this incident is not a reflection of the type of customer service culture you are driving at your store. I choose to shop at Nordstrom stores because I get treated well and get taken care of but The type of biased attitude coming from your Manager Annette is what will drive away loyal customers like myself. read more

We went to this store today, and this lady with black pants and a blue shirt followed my mom and I throughout the whole store the entire time we were shopping. They made us feel so uncomfortable despite us being frequent customers. They made us feel like we were trying to steal when my mom can't even run right now due to recently having back surgery. I usually don't have a bad experience here but this one bad experience has left a bad taste. read more
