Solid spot for sushi if you are in the Orlando Menu. We first checked out Kingdom Sushi a few minutes away based on the amount of reviews they had on Google but upon entering the vibe didn't feel right so we reassessed and opted to go to Sea San Sushi Bar. When we arrived in their parking lot, we knew we made the right choice. Sea-San Sushi Bar is an A+ sushi restaurant and the entire experience was spectacular. From their modern design, to friendly waiters, and high tech feel to even the fragrance and aroma of the restaurant upon entering, SeaSan Sushi Bar truly nails it. Our party of 8 didn't have a reservation but thankfully they were able to seat us despite them being busy albeit we had to all fit into one large booth but we managed and were thankful they accommodated our large party so quickly. The food was wonderful, filling, and their ayce menu has a lot of options to choose from. The main star of the show here was the salmon dishes from awesome appetizers, to nigiri, to sashimi salmon here is high quality, fresh, and delicious! Green tea is great here as well as the desserts and specialty dishes. Our waiter Leandro was spectacular and very friendly, courteous, and quick. Looking for an all you eat sushi in Orlando. Decided to try this place since half of our group wanted to eat ala carte. All you can eat is a little bit in the high end - there is a good selection of sashimi and sushi. A Lipitor disappointed that they didn't have unagi on the all you can eat. A lot of the temaki or sushi roll had cream cheese and they can't remove when we asked. They do give you a big slices of sashimi. It also includes all you can eat dessert. Good choice for à la carte for those that don't eat sushi- they have fried rice and noodles. Our server was amazing. He was always checking on us and taking our orders. This is the best all you can eat sushi spot I've tried so far!! Granted, I don't try many because it's harder to find good enough quality, but this place surprised me so much. For $42 you get various sashimis, appetizers, rolls, and delicious dessert options. We loved the salmon sashimi which was tender and fresh. I also enjoyed trying the various rolls which can be served in a half order (2 instead of 4), allowing you to try more! The desserts were also amazing. Usually at all you can eat type places the desserts are only okay, but here each one was unique-- banana and Nutella and fried cheese with guava sauce. We had a great experience here from start to finish. We made a reservation for 7:00 and were seated immediately, which set the tone right away. We all went with the all-you-can-eat sushi option. While it didn't include every single item I usually look for, it actually introduced me to some things I hadn't tried before, and there were still plenty of great options to choose from. A few standout dishes--the chef's special hand roll was phenomenal, and the truffle omelette was absolutely outstanding. And the brownie ice cream dessert was honestly to die for and the perfect way to end the meal. Service was excellent across the board--everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience smooth. The place was a little loud, but it had great energy and a really fun atmosphere. We came after universal. We were excited because the reviews were great and the menu looked amazing. Got there and there was an all you can eat option. So my husband and kids did that. I wasn't super hungry so I ordered off the menu. We ordered a whole bottle of sake. They started bringing the food and placed it in the center of the table. No clue which ones I ordered or which were my husbands. So I ate what I thought was what I ordered. The waiter came over and said please refrain from eating off the all you can eat menu the lady "chef" at the sushi bar stared us down our entire meal. Rice tasted like moth balls and I'm sorry to say that because that damaging but it was accurate. Nothing I had I would order again. My husband ate a bite off my plate and I immediately looked to the lady chef at the bar and asked if that was ok. Didn't want to get in trouble for paying for our food. Definitely wouldn't go back after the experience we had. Might not have gone back after even if the experience wasn't bad because the food wasn't memorable. Cute space though. Had potential. The servers here are really attentive and nice, great at making recommendations too. The ambiance is nice and it was plenty busy on a weeknight evening. Just a really big meh for our lunch here at Sea-San Sushi Bar. What excited me about this restaurant was the fusion of Brazillian and Japanese. I wanted the sushi rolls and my husband would get a pasta or risotto. This place is super cute and this plaza is full of Brazilian businesses including Brazilian pizza, bakery, supermarket and eatery inside the market. Our server was ok and he explained the menu and gave suggestions, but I just felt like he was a bit salesy/pushy to order only the most expensive items on the menu. It's like he really didn't have much to say about any other item on the menu except those. We decided on ordering the fried salmon hossomaki roll for me and the Brie risotto with added chicken breast for him. In the beginning they give you cucumber salad and a sample of the torched truffle salmon. They were alright. My hossomaki roll was the smallest roll I have ever seen. It's the size of a thumb print. After reading about hossomaki rolls, I did learn they were small. My husband's risotto was very plain. You can tell from the picture. It's def not worth its price tag. The chicken was also an additional $9 for a plain piece of chicken. The pictures look amazing, but the execution and the price of what it was was a big thumbs down. read more

This is a really nice upscale setting for sushi. The presentation is lovely, and the service was welcoming. There is a very limited assortment of fish: tuna, salmon, whitefish, and octopus, but the quality and preparations are excellent. There are also some creative dishes, such as the Brie Djo: rice wrapped in strips of seared salmon, cream cheese, brie cheese, and fleur de sel. Creative cocktails and wine are available. After reading the most recent reviews, I was really excited to try a new sushi restaurant near my house, unfortunately, it didn't live up to the other ratings. First, the staff was very friendly, very helpful, and attentive. The place is very nice, still new; fresh and clean. However, the food isn't that great. The gyoza and fried rice were the best parts of the meal. However, I use 'best' loosely since the sushi was so underwhelming. Luckily, we got those, otherwise we would have left hungry as the rest wasn't great and we left most of it behind. If you choose to check out this place, I don't recommend getting any sushi; I would stick with cooked food as it was overall better. The sushi was very chewy, lacked flavor. I love sushi. I spend a lot of time going to a lot of sushi bars, and when I'm hungry, All you can eat is pretty awesome. I find very few that are truly memorable. As an AYCE, This one was memorable for all the wrong reasons: #1- This is a VERY expensive sushi joint. The All you can eat menu is EXTREMELY limited, and what IS available is pretty uninspired. I went with my nephew on Saturday night, and the empty restaurant should have warded us off instantly. We had seen the menu online (AYCE is conspicuously absent), and the dishes looked amazing. All I want EMPHATICALLY to say is: Do NOT BOTHER WITH THE ALL YOU CAN EAT MENU!!! This is NOT the same food the customers they want in their restaurant receive. It's pretty damn clear they want only those with deep pockets and light appetites to visit. The lack of a posted AYCE menu , one that excludes over 90% of the dishes on the "regular" menu, is shady at best. There are 14 rolls on the "special "rolls" menu- only about 4 or 6 are available. 16 Nigiri?- you get 4. Want to try the 10 varieties of Djo? Sorry- nope. Famous truffle omelet? Reserved for those who can afford it. Never mind by the time the tip was added, our meager meal cost about $120. The last time I spent that sum (for the same amount of sushi) was at Morimoto's Asia in Disney Springs (Highly recommended!!!). Not cheap, but expertly prepared, memorable sushi. (Again, Morimoto, not HERE) I will not be returning here. My only hope is that posting this will save someone else from the embarrassingly bad AYCE offerings here. I wish I would have ordered from the regular menu- the dishes sounded amazing. It's why we came. I've seen places like this before: They tempt diners with an all you can eat option, only to abuse them with barely a taste of the regular menu. I order all you can eat so I can sample the variety of dishes on offer, not to stuff my face like a pig. Obviously, that is how you view your AYCE customers, because that is what you offer. Kitchen scraps at premium prices. One star, miserable failure. Stop ripping people off with your awful AYCE, please, and thanks once again for the RAW chicken roll we were offered at the end of what was simply a disappointing dining experience, transforming it into a truly awful one. read more

Sea-San sushi is definitely a hole in the wall. They do take reservations so it's always better to make them. The servers are super nice and the ambiance is really simple modern. I've been back twice within the same month because they're just so sweet and the food is delicious. So far my favorites banana with dulce, California, rainbow, and the Doritos roll. I thought it was a straight up sushi bar, which it is however a lot of the food are uncooked like sushi, but the taste is just a little bit different. The mango sushi was good though, but again the taste was just a little little bit different than what I'm used to. I was originally going to order the truffle omelettes, but the waiter told me that he would send a few samples to the table and after trying them I did not like them. It's basically half cooked salmon with cream cheese on top. The two didn't match too well on my taste buds. It was basic. The ice cream was interesting though, I never had ice cream with guava in it, but that was a different try and I can say I liked it. The other drink that isn't listed was the Mojito and that was great. The final interesting spin. This was the three brie cheese which just like everything else was just uniquely different to me as far as texture is concerned. And I've never been a stickler about texture. I probably wouldn't come back here again because there's so many other sushi places all around central Florida but I must say this was a unique and different experience than what I'm used to. Better than NOBU, let me explain! I was here for my Birthday in July. I am still dreaming about it, and we are now in pumpkin spice season. I am counting down the days until we go to see-san again! It is by far my most favorite sushi place I have ever been to. The best sushi! The Best! and I have been to Nobu. I will insert picture to prove it. When we pulled into the parking lot we were thinking this can't be it. Are we next to a planet fitness plaza? ?!. Once we stepped inside we changed our minds and knew we were just being snobs! . it is meticulously clean, decor is beautiful, and smiling team that works there. I did not even get to the food! Our host was amazing and in detail and pride told us what we were eating and even answers my 10 year old daughters whacko questions . I can not urge you enough to go. I was craving sushi and found out that a new sushi restaurant opened in the Metro West area. I made a reservation through OpenTable for 8pm on a Saturday, but all times were available. When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that it was surprisingly quite busy. A very friendly host (possibly the owner) greeted me and had another person seat me. Since I was unable to find the menu online, I focused on the menu provided and saw various sushi and hibachi options. I also asked for a cocktail menu, which was cheerfully provided. I went with the whiskey sour for my drink (11 dollars). When ordering my drink, I was asked for my name, which I thought was a bit unusual. I provided it, and also ordered the sushi combo 1 (29 dollars), which provided 24 pieces of various sushi and sashimi. Before my drink, I was given a small complimentary bite of a truffled omelette sushi, which was delicious and had a bit of salmon in it as well. When my drink came, I noticed that it had the letter A in it (which explains why they asked for my name). The drink was pretty refreshing and a bit on the lighter and sweeter side. When my entree came, I almost mistook it for another drink as it came smokey. But the smoke was just dry ice in a normally soy sauce container that was provided for show. What also surprised me is how quickly it came. There were various pieces of sushi and sashimi, but the fish were mostly salmon and tuna. I also saw a brie sushi, which I enjoyed the cheese, but it did have a bit too much salt. The salmon and tuna in the sushi and sashimi could have been more fresh, but it was alright. The fried salmon sushi could have used some sauce, which was offered, but I mistakenly declined. Honestly, the combo could have easily satisfied two people, and I was very full and couldn't finish the whole thing. The service was very friendly and attentive. At least three people checked up on how I enjoyed my meal. I did have to ask for water, but it was provided quickly. I also informed my server that no menu was listed online , and he assured me that he will let the owner know. The atmosphere was small and quite busy on a Saturday. The sushi bar was in the front and I think another bar was on the left side. The table area was a bit small, so it can be a little crowded when busy. It was pretty family friendly as well since I saw quite a few kids inside. The music was quite soft to recognize the genre, but I did find it a bit boring. Sea-San is located in a strip mall near kirkman and metro west Blvd next to a gated townhome community. It used to be Urban Hibachi, which explains the hibachi options in the menu. Parking can be tight on a Saturday, so best to arrive a bit early. If the fish was more fresh, it would have been better. But I will visit again and try the hot options next time. read more

Oh how they tried... the restaurant is missing a lot of pieces- the staff were very helpful and attentive. I was very hopeful as my dining experience began. Without really paying attention to the menu, I ordered water and edamame. The server seemed a little flustered with my order so I asked for the water and I would look at the menu. When I opened the menu, edamame wasn't listed on the menu. Hmmm, that's a first. My water was delivered with a small bowl of thinly sliced cucumbers pickled and adorned with sesame seeds. They were very enjoyable. I decided on the gyoza as an app- there was no choice for steamed or fried. When it did arrive freshly prepared with a dipping sauce. The sauce was bland and lacked the saltiness of a traditional dumpling dipping sauce. Moving to the sushi order- it arrived at my table beautifully adorned with an orchid. Interestingly, I tried to ask about a side of ginger and wasabi but was told that my choices were eel sauce or spicy mayo. The items I asked didn't seem to register as something the restaurant carried. The boss roll was spot on- the salmon and shrimp were fresh and seasoned well. The second roll I ordered, the spicy tuna was a disaster and disappointment. As soon as I lifted it off the plate to my mouth. The whiff of smell was that of a low tide. I took one bite and quickly deposited it in my napkin. Admittedly, a roll with chopped tuna in is a money maker for a restaurant- all the leftover, small cuts of tuna from nigiri can be used in the roll. The fish in this particular roll had passed a palatable time for serving. My complaint with being served this roll is that the smell was very evident and yet it was still served by the chef. In conclusion, I got that familiarity with preparation of sushi was out of the ordinary for the staff. This disconnect needs to solved. read more

What a jewel of a find in Orlando just around the corner from Universal Parks! The decor and ambience were beautiful but the creativity in the menu and the amazing service is what has sold us on this being a new favorite and regular spot for frequent travelers. This is officially my favorite restaurant in all of Orlando! After this only being my second visit to Sea-San Sushi bar, my girlfriend and I have decided we need to make it a tradition to come here at least once a week. First off, the food is absolutely incredible as well as extremely unique. As you can see in the video, their display of the food was a great first impression. However, the taste of it took it a step further. Not only was this meal absolutely delicious and left us wanting more, but it was only $24 (Fried Hossomaki and The Boss Uramaki Roll)! There is also a complimentary cucumber and sesame dish in the beginning of your meal which goes quite nicely to start the stomach and get you through to the main dish. Side note: My lovely girlfriend wanted to add that the Ginger is to die for. Second, their hospitality and generosity is beyond compare to any restaurant I've been in. Much higher than the standard in Orlando, they ensure we are taken care of as well as offering us samples from their extravagant menu. Gui was our server and he goes above and beyond. I'd loved to meet the chefs as well as it feels they put their hearts and souls into their creations. Lastly, the inside is absolutely stunning. It gives you that old-school Japanese feeling but has a modern ambiance. Whoever created this restaurant must have wanted to put their creative vision into reality, and they sure did an awesome job doing so! There is a sushi bar with an array of drinks and multiple workers at the bar to fill your needs. There is also a dining room with booths, tables, and a classic long table for a more classic feel you'd find in a sushi restuarant. Whether you are coming for a fancy date, a business meal, or a family outing, you can experience that at Sea-San Sushi Bar. Another side note: I like to judge where I eat on their bathrooms, cause cleanliness of a bathroom can represent a lot more than what your senses can speak for. Let me tell you, it was nice, not only was it crispy clean but carried the ambiance of the rest of the restaurant with it. If you're looking for an amazing sushi with wonderful service then you must visit Sea-San Sushi Bar. My husband travels for business and raves about this place and finally I experienced it for myself and it was wonderful! The sushi is fresh and they do a wonderful fusion of sushi with a Brazilian flare! We started off with their Truffle omelette and it was rich and decadent. They also added a truffle to some of their sushi dishes and it was divine! They did a wonderful twist with a caipirinha and sake which was delicious. Great neighborhood Sushi spot. We ordered 4 rolls, the Dragon roll and Rainbow Rolls we liked the best. The amount of fish in each roll is quite generous. Normally we can easily eat 3-4 rolls, but today we could not make it through 3 (which was great). If you're coming for rolls, they were all good but only a limited list of selections. It was very fresh and tasted great. My only complaint, if I had to have one is the used a dollop of spicy mayo to decorate each piece of roll, which looked nice but was a lot of mayo. The edamame was good too, salty and garlicy. It was nice too they they served a cucumber salad as soon as we sat down. And also brought over a sample of their truffle omelet appetizer.
