Came here recently and honestly had a really solid experience overall. Our sushi literally came out on a wooden bridge with a bowl of tuna sashimi surrounded by dry ice smoke like it was about to headline Coachella. The Bridge Platter The salmon nigiri melted like butter. Rolls were neatly done, fresh, and satisfying. That dry ice show on the tuna was pure drama in the best way. Appetizer Round The spring rolls came out crisp and clean. Croquettes were little golden bombs of creamy goodness. Shrimp tempura was thick, crunchy, and paired with sauce that made me forget anyone else at the table even existed. Handrolls The salmon handrolls were packed, not skimpy. I really enjoyed the AYCE option for dinner. We met with friends and I loved how they paced it. We were able to spend lots of time talking and enjoying our evening. The food was really good! The presentations were fun and beautiful! The service was excellent. They did their AYCE a little differently than we are used to, with just one piece of sushi when you order instead of a roll, so we just told them how many pieces we wanted. A small nice hidden gem. We decided this place as a dinner for my sisters birthday. When arriving, we weren't sure if it was open due to the blackout windows and the sign was not lit up. We saw someone walked out right when we were about to leave. Even though most of the staff didnt really speak english, they were really nice. The food was amazing! If you don't speak Portuguese don't bother coming here. I came here with my boyfriend who only speaks english and no one could really communicate with him. The waitress couldn't understand anything he said nor could she say anything back to him. I ended up having to translate everything because no one there came to help the waitress either so I'm assuming not many people there could really speak English. This is quite annoying considering we went out to dinner in the USA and I shouldn't have to keep translating everything when it's not my job. We went based off a reels review of the restaurant. Oh my god were we disappointed. Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing came out looking like in the video we saw. We asked for water, received two empty glasses and a container with ice and a tong. No water. I will get back to this in a minute. We did the all you can eat as in the extravagant video we watched. The presentation was terrible ! The food was even worse! Miso soup. I mean how can you F up miso soup? They found a way. It was cold. I sent it back. The microwaved it and sent it back to us. Same bowls of soup. I added pepper to mine to see if this is what they weee going to do. Then they place my soup in front of my husband and gave me his. The tempura shrimp states 4 pieces on the menu. It arrived with only 2. This is supposed to be a sushi restaurant. One of the staples is ginger and wasabi. Our food delivered without either. Had to request it. Then we received a little tiny decorative thing with a pea size of wasabi. I had to ask for more. The ceviche was disgusting. Tasted like raw fish which if it is truly fresh fish should not taste or smell fishy. It had absolutely no flavor. The all you can eat is a reduced version of the menu. Portions are small and tasteless. Oh, back to the water, I finally had to ask if we were going to receive water or did we have to wait for the ice to melt in the ice container. We finally received a bottle of water. There were no napkins provided. Finally after one of the most uninspiring and disgusting dinners, we were offered to make a selection of dessert, so we chose the strawberries, which in the video looked amazing. They looked like sliced strawberries with drizzled chocolate on them, cross the plate what we received was a little ramekin with a little bit of coconut down at the bottom, chopped up strawberries, and cold Nutella on top of it and when I say a ramekin, I am talking like maybe an ounce of strawberries, coconut, and Nutella altogether the spoon was bigger than the Rami and the spoon didn't even fit into the ramekin to get the food out. Overall if there were a 0 rating that's what I would rate this place. I usually try places a couple of time just in case there was a bad night. But based on everything related to the quality and the food and presentation, it was a waste of my money and I will not go back again and I will for sure make sure that I inform everyone to stay clear of this place. People were walking out the door waiting to be seated, my family and I waited 2 hours for a plate that never came. This is a little unassuming hidden gem. The space is kinda small and not too pretentious but the food is A+++. Don't come here expecting traditional Japanese sushi, cause that's not the place for it but it is great none the less. I did the Sushi Experience (all you can eat). They bring out a ton of different types to try and the presentation is amazing. Once you try everything, they ask you if there's anything you want to repeat, but I was too full!! Then they finish it off with a sweet dessert of fruit and Nutella sushi, warm brownie and ice cream. The only thing I didn't like was the mushrooms, but that is just my personal taste, I'm sure they are great for others. It has over a thousand reviews and they're all amazing. Got there on a Friday night thinking I probably should have made an rsvp... place was maybe 10% capacity. Red flag 1. The pictures and reviews are probably all robots or paid. Their website looks kind of AI. Nothing really matched the actual experience of the place. The sushi is sub par. The salmon carpaccio was meh. The sushi rice is oddly sweet. They have some weird rolls that... are maybe an acquired taste. And the price is exorbitant. For three of us it was $150. We ordered three miso soups thinking that they'll end up being either included with our order or maybe $3 give or take a buck. The soup comes out and it's a bigger than usual bowl, with tofu and no seaweed. Taste wise it was like supermarket powder soup. Also each one was $8 bucks. Came here because of the 4.7 star rating which is CRIMINAL given the TERRIBLE service and food. Came with my boyfriend who is a renowned head chef and he was appalled at the quality and service we got. First, the server asked us if we spoke Spanish or English but she didn't speak neither. Same with the rest of the staff. Also, took us more than 15 mins to get waters and more than 50 mins for our entrees. Note, we never received 1 of those entrees and the servers never noticed or asked. Miso soup tasted spoiled. Flavors of each sushi roll didn't make sense. I understand this is a Brazilian take on sushi but they should be ashamed for the service and food they offer. I know this is a new restaurant but whoever is investing money into this really needs to take a look into this operation. No one seems to know what they are doing. Wasn't feeling too great and decided to look up sushi places. Came across this little hole in the wall and we were pleasantly surprised when our waiter told us they had a chef selection course. Of course we decided to try it and had no idea what was coming. The food was absolutely amazing. Each course was small but at the end you can order another round of whatever you wanted and the dessert was absolutely perfect to end the meal that my sister couldn't wait and that's why her spoon is in my photo. Food was incredibly average - very inconsistent with respect to some of the reviews out there. The only caveat is that we didn't go with the "Experience" and instead ate Ala Carte, but I would hope that the flavor profile would be on par. Seating was okay, though the place seemed new, the tables were worn out and a tad sticky. The bathroom was impeccable however so kudos to management. Quality wise it is acceptable. The fish was good and tasted fresh but my husband and son both had a fishbone stick them (I've never had this happen at a sushi place). As for the service, the servers were very kind and caring but one seemed to lack experience and the other seemed stretched too thin. They were both very attentive to our needs. However, the service altogether was incredibly, almost unacceptably, slow - I can't imagine how it would be with a full house. The service was also inconsistent. Other tables received plates and napkins, we did not, despite having kids, and the waiters forgot straws for the drinks as well as chopsticks until we asked (no silverware to eat with either). It was very hard to get anyone's attention when we inevitably needed napkins which was very frustrating especially amidst the slow service, and were quick to ask for utensils to avoid another wait. Waiting for the bill was also another trial and I had waited so long that I didn't bother to correct the mistakes in the order, and though I asked for the receipt I wasn't given one despite confirming that I wanted it printed. All of their appetizers came and I asked when I would have food. I was informed that my food was coming. The rest of the food showed up to the table with nothing for me. I asked again when I would receive food and I was then asked what I had ordered. The restaurant is so disorganized and many of the employees do not speak English.
