Not sure why i even see bad comments for this restaurant, but our experience was nothing but the best. The portions are generous, the food is top quality and the service is amazing. I had eggs and sausage, the hubs had a rueben. We are big critics of ruebens as that is one of our favorite sandwiches. Right now, at this very moment, their rueben is hands down THE best. (I only know this because he let me have a bite. And if you like Baklava, you will order it every time you visit this place. Was quiet when we came, thursday for lunch. Service was nice and fast. Food was nothing super special but we ate it all. We may not have been their target audience. Good for retirees. Definitely Sunday morning vibes. What stood out to me was the up charge for fries. $2.99 for fries with an already $9 sandwich. Most places should give fries with lunch at least. So, the food is ok here and the people are nice, but here are some things I want to let everyone know. A bowl of soup is the exact same amount as a cup but like $2.00 more. They charge $1.99 for onions on two hot dogs. They will make mistakes and forget to bring several items from your order. The service is slow. The breading on fried shrimp is really heavy and is more suited for fish. Sandwiches are small for the price and nothing special. I've been there at least 20 times and it is the same every time. Again the food is mostly good and the people are nice but don't expect an expedient error free experience because you will be disappointed. Breakfast=everything is good. I like the owners but being nice only gets you so far in food service. I want them to do good. I really do but there is room for improvement. read more

Had a super breakfast today. Two pages of item gave a big variety of items to choose and the "ultimate omlette" I got was delicious and very generous in size. I was told by my son that anything on the menu would be good (he is a frequent customer). Clean, spacious, bright and airy, and delicious food. We'll definitely be back soon. read more

Auburn really has to tone it up in the food department. As a visitor for work the few places I have tried have been terrible. Including this one. We were pleased and surprised at the awesome take out food we received when we stopped on the way up north. From the looks of the faded sign, we weren't expecting anything spectacular, but the Greek salad with ranch on the side was crisp & the olives were fresh and delicious !! The ham and cheese omelette breakfast had a generous serving of food and they remembered to put jam, dinnerware, etc so we didn't go without anything we wanted or needed. read more

We have been there a couple of times and it has been good each and every time. This time I ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger and my companion ordered Nori's Chicken Pita. We split an order of onion rings. Everything was nice and fresh. I did try a piece of chicken from the pita and it was excellent. One of the things that impresses me most about the restaurant is that the staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. If traveling from the airport one would be much better served here than anything Freeland has to offer and you would be closer to the expressway. read more

The first and ONLY time I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Let me preface by saying I have worked in restaurants for the last 15 years, even during the pandemic. I understand places are short staffed and out of supplies. We entered the restaurant at 12:25 pm, wanting to get a quick lunch. The restaurant was busy, but there was still many tables available. We sat down and the person who took our drink order was extremely unhappy, which I also understand can happen, didn't say hi, how are you. Took our drink order, dropped it off and said someone will be over within the next few minutes to get our food order. Our server came to get our order and was also very short, not friendly, and just all around grumpy. She took our food order and we didn't see her again. After waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food nothing showed up, my husband went to check on it and it seemed like they hadn't even started it yet. During that time frame I witnessed servers being rude to other customers, customers complaining that they were missing items(there was 6 tables at this time). No one came to check on us or fill our drinks during that 1 hour and ten minute time frame. We had been out of water and soft drinks for over 20 minutes. No one came to apologize for the wait. Meanwhile our server was polishing silverware and bussing tables even though there were no guests coming in. So we left. I am very very unhappy with our experience and will not be returning, which stinks because we live in auburn and only have 2 restaurant options. I have no issue waiting for food if the kitchen is behind, I understand it happens, but horrible service is not excusable in my opinion. read more
