Overall Terrible experience and customer service for the Orland and Tinely park locations I brought my $400 never been worn Mother of the Bride dress on a Saturday to the Orland Park location to have dry cleaned and pressed for pick up on Wednesday. I went to pick up on Wednesday at the Orland location and the lady was rude and stated I would get a text message when the dress would be ready. They close at 5pm. Most people work until 5. I needed to have this dress picked up that day for an out of state wedding. I never receive a text, so my husband went to pick up the dress at 4, and rude lady at Orland location explains to my husband that the dress is still at the Tinley location because it is so badly stained and they will not have the dress cleaned until next Tuesday and that they under charged us for the dry cleaning. My husband asked to see the dress and had to go to the Tinely park location to retrieve the dress that Normans ruined. This dress had no stains on it at all prior to dropping off on Saturday.. Normans never called us to ask us about any staining. The staff and owner were very rude and had no options on how to resolve the situation. I took the dress to CD one in Orland to see if they could get the stains out and also had to buy a new dress at Davids Bridal due to the wedding being out of state and leaving the next morning. CD one dry cleaners was able to clean the dress for $4 and have it for pick up the next day. Lukily, My friend who was not flying out to the same wedding until Friday, was able to pick up the next day and bring it with her to our out of state wedding... I would NEVER recommend this business for any services they offer. The customer service was terrible And Normans either had something that dripped all over this dress or they used dirty water to "dry Clean" Luckily enough CD one dry cleaners we were able clean and fix the damage that Normans did, or I would have been taking NORMANS small claims court to get reimbursed the $400 for the dress that Normans ruined. read more

Terrible customer service! After both soles on the shoes they rented us fell off 40 minutes into our event, the manager BLAMED US For damaging their shoes! They rented old and unmaintained shoes and then blamed us for them falling apart. No discount for our inconvenience. The original owners were amazing, this new group of people that own it are not at all helpful and lack professionalism. In a messenger message to me, offered to not charge us for damage, they call this damage instead of owning the fault!! as if that makes up for the soles falling off the shoes! The original owners would never treat their clients this way. Will never go back, will always give bad review. #failinghardinUSA read more

Norman's cleaner is trash; I went in for a wash and fold service, and what I got was wash and have a hobo roll around in your clothes and shove it in a bag. The name should no longer be Normans because this place under new management has no quality. I told them about the issue and they blamed it on teenagers working their manager said they would re fold and when I picked it up only a few of the top clothes had been refolded to hide the terrible job and service they provide. Save your money and time and find a different place that is not garbage. read more

Finally a dry cleaners that speaks English. Not that it bothers me but I prefer for communication to be clear. Highly recommend

I got my sons tuxedo for prom from here and he needed to drop it back off the next day and ofcourse he forgot. I went in the next day and explained it to the lady working the front desk and she was very understanding and waived the late fee. Ill be using this place again! read more

When I first started going there they seemed to take pride in their work. I did not mind taking my designer items. Over time they just did not care. Clothes would come back dirty. Double crease pressed in pants. So unprofessional. Husband's shirts looked like we ironed them at home. Had to take some things back a couple of times. The seamstress is work I can do at home. Not well done. When the owners are there it gets done. If not the dry cleaning and laundry services are terrible. Would not let the do alterations. Can't pay top dollar for $1 cleaners level quality. Unfortunate. Hunting for a new dry cleaner. read more

This place is horrible. Do not use them! i have been a client for decades but new owner is a sham. Destroy clothes, give you the run around and doesn't take responsibility for their services. -0 stars. I dropped off my son's suit and shirts to be cleaned. Explained he needed them to take back to school. When I went to pick them up, pants were missing. Pants were "located" at plant. I asked that the plant send over a picture of label on pants to confirm they were correct. Owner stated "no that's not necessary I found your pants". waited for an hour and 15 minutes for pants that were NOT the correct pants. Further while waiting for pant, I asked to see rest of order. NOTHING was cleaned, and in fact they ripped one of the shirts. Owner was rude, defiant, and ignorant. not to mention they require you to prepay and I received no refund, on top of worthless suit coat due to missing pants and a ripped shirt. I was very impressed with the service. I brought my winter Carhartt jacket in for a zipper repair. They knew that they way the weather was outside I couldn't wait days for it to be repaired so the did it right on the spot. With no extra charge. I brought around 10 dress shirts to get dry cleaned to Norman's because of their great reputation and amazing reviews. They did not disappoint. They were able to get my makeup bronzer out of the shirts and made them look like brand new. I'm so glad I listened to everyone and came here. Just paid $9.00 for one pair of dress pants to be cleaned. They are not pressed professionally. I have no time to return and wouldn't trust they would look any better. Go somewhere else and save yourself time. read more

Very disappointed. I read previous reviews and they were mostly post. Had a dress hemmed for a wedding and the first time I picked it up it the hemline was uneven and shorter than it was to be. Also the hem was rolled and did not appear to be done by a professional. I brought it back and when I picked it up the roll was better but the dress was still crooked-ugh! And the price for service was not cheap. read more

Unlike one of the previous posts, I live nearby and now won't travel 5 minutes to do business with them. I moved to area 2 years ago and this is the 2nd cleaners that I've tried. I've used them several times and about 8 times for high volume work. I had problems on half of them. The latest was when I brought 2 coats to have zippers replaced. Upon picking up the coats and getting home, I found that they wrote the ticket incorrectly and never fixed the zippers, but just cleaned the coats. Took coats back for zippers. They were supposed to call me when done, but never did. I went back a week later (today) to pick up coats and they wanted to charge me full price for the zippers (and I explained to the manager that he had to deduct the previous "cleaning" cost I paid). He reluctantly did it, but never apologized for screwing up in the first place or not calling when work was done. That was all I wanted to continue doing business there, but nothing! So I paid, and walked out telling myself that it's time to give another local cleaner a shot at my business. read more
