I was first to finish. That NEVER happens. Wednesday all you can eat enchiladas.

Too damn delicious. Also too close to work. Went in a Wednesday, all you can eat enchiladas, we ate 2 plates each, one guy ate 3 plates! We will be back! Great service, better food.

A group of us went here recently. We ate and asked for to go teas. When we got back to work, a co-worker was sipping her tea when something crunchy entered her mouth. She immediately spit it out on to a napkin. It was a roach! Since we were all served out of the same pitchers, it's a safe bet that others drank roach parts! Where there's one, there's a million. Let this serve as a warning!

Possibly one of those hit or miss places depending on the day. We decided to go there for lunch since they have all you can eat cheese enchiladas. My partner raves about them. He was not wrong. They were good, and were dangerously easy to eat. I should have followed my partners lead. Instead, I ordered barbacoa tacos and a cup of menudo. The barbacoa was dry and flavorless. The menudo looked appetizing, but was mostly bland. Again, maybe it just wasn't their best day for those items. We'll be back for those enchiladas though!

Atmosphere was nice, they gave us the tiniest basket of chips and salsa and we had to ask for it...food was ok,service reallllyy slow. I ordered fajitas and they were insanely salty, but they took them back and brought me an enchilada plate with a smile, the chili con carne was delish! will def be back for the enchiladas.... The enchiladas are great, but my favorite meal here is huevos rancheros! The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. The chips and salsa come in a small bowl, but the staff won't hesitate to refill them for you. If you're looking for great food with friendly people, this is the place for you.

$7.53 for a carne guisada and a bean and chorizo taco. Carne guisada was a little tough. At this price it should have been perfect.

It was probably our most favorite place that we ate while in San Antonio. The ambiance was great, beautifully decorated restaurant with great service. The cocktails were delicious so we had a few. The food was flavorful and unique. We had a wonderful dinner with my family at Carriqui.

Y'know it's impossible to find street parking especially on the weekends normally. I had made reservations to meet some friends here for brunch/lunch 1145 am on a Sunday. This place is bigger than it looks! There's seating at the main building, plus a huge outdoor patio seating area, and an entire other building beautifully decorated. The hostess was welcoming and friendly and our server was excellent. We were seated in the other building near the windows. The menu wasn't huge, but just right with a few lunch and brunch items. After debating for a while of what to order, I decided on the Texas Gulf Shrimp plate. Agua Fresca of the day per our server was strawberry pineapple. Our server was able to water mine down slightly- since it was very sweet, but love knowing that it was freshly made. Complimentary chips and salsa always a plus, and we were able to order some spicy salsa to accompany at no charge. My shrimp plate was delicious! 2 skewers of nicely cooked and seasoned shrimp atop salsa with perfectly cooked cilantro rice and a fresh leaf salad. A half slices avocado accompanied my plate. Oh how I love avocados. I thoroughly enjoyed my plate. The chicken al carbon was also a good choice - half a chicken that was juicy, not dry. The avocado toast was beautiful and the pecan salsa was quite interesting. The female performers during our brunch in the room, made it very hard for all of us to have conversations. The volume echoed loudly in the room, so it was very hard to speak and understand each other. Although a great idea, maybe outdoor patio area might be more suitable. Beautiful space, great service, good food.

Both my wife and I ordered breakfast plates--hers was the chorizo and egg and mine, huevos rancheros. The restaurant was empty besides one diner sitting outside with her dog and one family inside which should have been a red flag to stay away. My chorizo and potatoes were cold and my beans were not hot either. This was not like it had cooled down--cold. The ranchero sauce looked bad and all of the food on my plate had no flavor, no seasoning, literally no effort whatsoever. I had a bug crawl across my hand while we were there as well. She had the issue with her plate, food was not even warm. The tortillas were hot and tasted good so that was how I warmed up my food. Our waiter also decided that he would cross the street to go speak to a woman at the little outdoor patio restaurant across the street on the corner. Not kidding, he was there for at least five or ten minutes just talking to her. I have always wanted to try Tito's and wanted something new to us but I guarantee there is no way we will ever go back. We left hungry, disappointed and embarrassed by what we just went through.
