I hadn't been here since I was a kid. Decided to swing by for a breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the bacon and sausage with light hashbrown. The LOADED the thing with bacon/sausage and egg. It was still hefty despite having light hash. The green salsa was fire ! Nice and spicy as well as reminiscent of the green salsa from another breakfast burrito slinger here in Burbank whose name rhymes with "Loaner Bottage". In addition to all that the price was fair. Something like 9 bucks for a baby sized burrito AND the staff was lovely. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

!!READ BEFORE ORDERING!! I Just experienced the type of customer service that can ruin a business. This will be my last visit here. I just experienced the worst service from the female cashier today. She gave me the wrong order, thru the drive thru window, which was 2 egg breakfast burritos, which are difficult to identify until you take a bite when you get home. I was given the wrong burritos. When I mentioned the mistake, she rudely lied to my face and blamed me for the mistake. How is her incompetence my fault? Her unprofessional-ism was evident, and it's unfortunate that this kind of service is tolerated. Her behavior was extremely disrespectful and rude. I was in shock. This was particularly disappointing given my wife's family has been loyal customers for decades. I don't live close and had to make a long extra drive there and back and she did not care at all, and would not give me a full refund and continued to blame me being handed the wrong order thru the drive thru window. It makes no sense for her to claim that it was my fault for receiving the wrong order when she was the one who handed it to me. All she asked was for the name for the order and then handed me the bag. It's unreasonable for her to shift the blame onto me, especially when I made my order clear and expected the correct items. Her response was not only unprofessional but also unfair, as it ignored the responsibility she had in ensuring that the order was accurate. This kind of attitude towards customers is unacceptable and should be addressed by the management. read more

Now I'm going to start this off positively. The food was not bad, the staff were pretty friendly that's about it. As you can see in my photo this was the biggest turn off I've ever encountered in my life. For a restaurant where you wait for your food directly next to the kitchen you would think the manager would make sure ALL STAFF ARE WEARING GLOVES! Like this guy was handling the food wrapping up the burritos/ burgers ect with his bare hands. Absolutely shook. Don't go through drive through if you want to wait over an hour. I ended up going inside as the drive through wasn't moving whatsoever. The food itself was nothing special but we did only try the breakfast burritos. I got the bacon and I swear it was purely potatoes with a pinch of bacon and egg. The steak and bacon option had wayyyyy less potatoes which was interesting. Anyway I won't give anymore than one star nor will we back purely because some staff don't wear gloves. Recently I've been on a tour of Burbank trying the breakfast burritos around town. I tried Norm's this week and wasn't disappointed. This go round I tried a bacon and sausage burrito and it was quite hearty. I might try one meat or another instead of a combo next time. Overall I was very satisfied with the size. Salsa was good, I might ask for it inside next time too. I liked that they had online options to order or just call ahead too. read more

Employees are great over here. Always making fresh and tasty food. My favorite is the sausage breakfast burrito with extra hot sauce.

They don't know how to cook eggs. Not even a scramble it was so over cooked it is not even edible.

I used to love getting my breakfast burritos here. They have a decent salsa, not something you might expect from a diner type spot. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive through. They also have excellent fries. The rest of the menu is fine, but to me the shining stars are the breakfast burrito and fries. The humans who take the orders are so good at their job. Equal parts friendly and efficient. However, the last handful of times I've eaten their breakfast burrito I bite into egg shells. I would love to be one of those people who can keep eating after that, but I just can't. It's like nails on a chalkboard in my mouth. I end up spitting out the bite and throwing the rest away. I hate how wasteful that is. I feel like straining that large amount of eggs they crack is obvious, but at this point I've had too many bites of eggshell to try again. Norm's has been in Burbank forever (well, since the mid 1980's) and there's a good reason why it's popular. They produce a quality product and the service is good and efficient. I got here about 30 minutes before they closed. The drive-thru was full, and there was a line of people waiting to order at the front window. While waiting in line at the drive-thru I called in my order and it was ready in less than 5 minutes from the time I made it to the window. Having the phone number posted around the building really helped expedite the ordering processes. The breakfast burrito is one of their staple items and it stands up. They have several different combination varieties but they will put anything in it that you want. I went for the bacon and cheese breakfast burrito. It was loaded, big and tasty. Gotta say, it's in my top five best breakfast burritos in town (which I've tried). I will definitely be back to Norm's for that burger. I'm a fan! read more

Way Way too long. I should have left but i paid already, plus family was hungry. This occurred last time we were there about a year ago. I thought it would be different. No!!! I started out in the drive-through, but it was taking a really long time, so I just parked and walked up to the counter. Had my lunch five minutes later. Prices are fair for what you get. I had a Norm's burger, small fries, and a large iced tea. It came in at $12. Given the fact that the Norm's burger is a delicious gut-buster, I did not feel ripped off. It's an oval patty on a grinder roll with lettuce, tomato, cheese, Thousand Island dressing, bacon, and an onion ring. It spoke to my meat-loving carnivorous heart. This burger joint doesn't look like much, and that's the beauty of it. It's an old shack in a old section of old Burbank. I lived in Burbank for many years, and I still uncover hidden gems like this when I'm just driving around. The reason why I'm giving them four stars instead of five is because they had no lemon for the iced tea, and they gave me no salt for my fries. I was really disappointed when I got to the park with my lunch because fries without salt is a sad affair. The fries were really good too...woulda been so much yummier with salt. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME EATING HERE!!!! During the last 3 years since I moved to Burbank Ive ordered several times always being left with some degree of disappointment. Im a Senior and have pain walking so to day I used the Uber eats app hoping by some miracle they might get it right. I was wrong. I ordered a Pastrami sandwich and fries. The fries were burnt the meat was so overcooked it looked like beef jerky and the bread was so hard even people with teeth would find it hard to eat. Uber Eats refunded my entire order , thankfully, but I still took it back. The gracious and thoughtful Blonde that works there apologized and kindly offered to refund my money several times. That young lady is this places saving grace because she has always provided the same quality of customer service. Small mom & pop joint. It has a very small parking lot, not likely to find parking. There's also street residential parking. I normally come here for their breakfast burritos. There's a lot of filling and a good equal amount of eggs, potatoes, and meat. I recently came here for lunch, ordered the pastrami burger and onion rings. Flavor was good, however, the hamburger meat patty was really thin, and the pastrami was sliced too thick. It seemed more like a thick slice of bacon/ham. I wouldn't order it again. As a native Burbank resident, I can honestly say I've tried all breakfast burritos in Burbank. Norm's, in my humble opinion has the best. The steak breakfast burrito is so underrated and they can even combo any two meat choices in your burrito,just ask. The workers are all friendly and efficient,and all food is made to order. I recommend calling in your order before pick-up. They have around eight parking spaces in the back and offer patio and indoor seating. The burgers and fries are solid but not the best in Burbank. The breakfast is their money maker. Norm's closes at 3pm Monday to Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. read more
