Burgers arent just tasty and juicy with fresh toppings, but they ARE HUGE!!!! A double cheeseburger looks like a cow with two crackers on each side. And its not even close to being overpriced. If anything theyre burgers are underpriced. Ive paid a lot more for smaller burgers that didnt taste as good. Amik and his partner run a good shop there. I ordered their famous cheese burger and fries and let me tell you from the first sight it was mouth watering. From the first bite it was delicious the meat patty was juicy and full of flavor and the bun was warm and welcoming, fries were just crunchy outside and soft inside. Long standing burger joint with a walk up window. Hours vary. I have driven by many times over the years and its been closed. They serve typical breakfast, lunch and dinner meals you would find at a diner. Service was friendly. A double cheesebuger meal deal was about $15.00. It came with a can of soda because their fountain machine was out of order. French fries are very thin and slightly crisped. The burger was huge. Easily 1/ 2 pound between the 2 patties. I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to relive my high-school last start treat of a breakfast burrito. I had heard they had changed ownership since the last time I went which was 2012 and that the burritos weren't the same. The food came out very quickly. Honestly the burrito was good, it had clean I ingredients. It's a simple burrito, no sauce inside, but they give you salsa on the side and I think its one fo the best salsa's out there, it really changed the entire flavor profile of the burrito. Its pretty spicy for me as I have a low spice tolerance but I just loved the flavor of it so it was worth it. I think the bacon wouls have felt like more if they just chopped it up instead of leaving as quarter strips. They definitely upgraded the inside since 2012 which is good, the chairs, tables ans decor look much cleaner/newer and the outside is the same as it's always been. I would have probably given this 4 stars if I wasn't overcharged. The menu, which mind you is taped over with new prices, said that bacon breakfast burrito was $9.98, so imagine my shock when I was charged $12.00($12.48 with tax). I didn't say anything as I don't like to confront people in charge of my food, but that wasn't okay. If the guy at the register had warned me that the proces hadn't been updated it would be okay, but there was no mention of this, and again the price on the menu is taped over, so couldn't they just tape over it again and update? Or is their pricing based off of judgement? That was just not cool, so I will not be returning just because of that. read more

Apollo used to make one of the best breakfast burritos in Burbank, but those days are long gone. The new ownership unnecessarily changed up the burrito and salsa; and it was not an improvement. For $12 you get a lackluster burrito with a bit of bacon/ sausage and a ton of undercooked hash browns (basically mashed potatoes) and rubbery eggs. They throw in a flavorless "salsa", but that doesn't help much. Not sure why they changed something that worked so well for so long. I've given Apollo the benefit of the doubt many times but each time they disappoint me more than the last. The food isn't good anymore, but the service is great and the staff is nice. Orders can be placed over the phone and are usually ready in a few minutes. Sad to see such a great Burbank establishment turn into this. Try Corner Cottage or Norm's for a decent breakfast burrito in the Burbank area. read more

But I would recommend against it. The "hash browns" are just chunky pieces of a potato and not crispy at all. They call the burrito the "best burrito in town" and sadly I was disappointed. On the bright side the eggs in the burrito were amazing and overall was enjoyable. I just had high expectations for the best burrito in town. As I was standing there the old Armenian guy started taking my order and he tells the other customer that was inside to come to the window to order. As I was giving my order, I wasn't done ordering and the old armernian guy commented "omg" due to me still giving my order and he tells me let me help out the other customer, he got here first, but that was not true, I had arrived first; he put me to the side and had to wait to finish completing my order. I ordered for pick up because my 11 year old wanted a burger and Apollo is right down the street from my house. Drove my son there to go inside and pick it up. The only negative I can really say is that my son went to the counter and gave the name on the order and they didn't believe him so he had to come back out and grab me to go inside to show proof that we ordered. How is my 11 year old going to know someone's random order with name and try to take food that's not his? The price is alittle high however my son said the food was great. This is more of a 3.5 star review based on my last experience. I used to live this place so much it was definitely my go to breakfast burrito spot. It was affordable and delicious. The place still seems like a hole in the wall passerby's won't be impressed by its looks and maybe not want to give it a try. This last time I went a few days ago the service was quick however I was really disappointed when I go burnt hash browns on both of my burritos. It really almost ruined the taste of the whole burrito and I had taken it to go so not much I could've done about it. The salsa is still gray but the onions are now soooo chunky it could use a little chopping up. Overall I'll probably still go back but I hope they're paying more attention to what they're serving especially since the prices seem to have gone up as well. read more

I've ordered here a handful of times, as well as had food brought to me from here. I always get the same thing - a breakfast burrito with no meat, as I'm vegetarian. One of the times, the eggs were a little uncooked and runny at the bottom of the burrito, so I just discarded it. The salsa is amazing though, so when I was wanting it, I stopped by today. However, when I got home with the burrito, it was only tortilla, egg and potato. No veggies, and it also appeared the Swiss cheese was either missing, or not noticeable. When I called and requested a remake, both of the men I spoke to gas-lit and argued with me. As a former server and restaurant manager, the level of service today was just awful. It seemed to be different people working today than other times I've gone, but usually they are nice and my order is correct - not today. I like to support local businesses and was referred there by word of mouth (I've also introduced others to the place), but after the experience today, I doubt I'll be returning. I always pay cash and tip to help support the small business, but getting treated this way when I simply asked for a re-make was unsavory. read more
