This place used to serve one of the best breakfast burritos in LA but its very disappointing now. Not quite sure what happened but their breakfast burritos are mostly consists of tortilla and big chunks of potatoes. I definitely didn't see 2 eggs portion in the burrito as they claimed and very small quantity of sausage and ham. I'm currently in the drive thru line, and have never been here before. I understand I need to call while in line to place an order. Problem: no one answers the phone. Second problem: their website doesn't work and there's no way to access the menu, let alone at least order online. I'm already waiting a half hour to get to the drive thru window, but my understanding is if I place the order there (because no one answers the phone and their website doesn't work), I'll have to wait another half hour. What a miserable experience. That's what I get for trying to support a local business, apparently. This one, at least. I wound up parking and going up to the window explaining I've been trying to call since before 2:30 with no one answering (and online ordering that doesn't work), which is before they stopped making food. Meh. After a decade of hearing about their amazing breakfast burritos...and here I was, ready to unwrap the beauty that I expected to smell and taste, only to be left disappointed and confused. Sure, the ingredients were there, but were they anything special? Definitely not. I ordered the hash brown bacon burrito with all the foods and asked for salsa on the side, but it simply did not stick out for me. I have to say it was very convenient ordering through the drive-through window for a change. Haven't done that for a breakfast burrito yet. Would I come back? Sure, I can perhaps give it another try. The staff that works there can't chew bubblegum and walk at the same time it took 30mins to get one meal and the staffs looks like they are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It shouldn't take 30mins to get one meal and they don't have a system down for the walk in to-go orders, 3rd party delivery service picking up to-go orders, and for the dine in orders. When they call you bring out the order they have no idea who it for and just guessing so its a free for all just chaos and a circus to get a burger, fries and a drink. It has been over 8 years since I've written my last review. I've relocated so haven't been back as often as I'd like. It's great to see Risa, Maggie, and Richard still working their magic. These are unequivocally the friendliest people in the business. 50 years strong! Something about the way the food tastes here brings me home. I've gotten fat off dozens of other burger joints in the past few years - but I prefer to allocate my calories at Norm's. I usually get their burgers, chicken nuggets, or chicken bowl. Since I probably won't be back for a while, I ordered two burgers this time around. Most burger joints have a "generic" taste (with a high price tag). But there's just something about how the patties are cooked and sauced at Norm's that gives me desperate cravings. It could be because I've been coming here for over 15 years - but I'm pretty sure Richard just knows how to work that grill like no other. I mean, he's been doing it for 30 years. As always. After waiting in line for 15 mins behind two cars, we called in and waited about an hour in line for a pick-up order. We thought that the food would be ready by the time we reached the window, but that wasn't the case as we still had to wait. We relayed our order to the cashier and he told us what it was back with the receipt. We got our order for the burritos.. and I did not get a steak burrito that I ordered but this minced up chopped sausage burrito that did not have much flavor. Norms hamburger is one of my favorite breakfast burritos in Burbank. One bacon and sausage burrito can fill you up for $9.95 but I prefer to get two burritos so I don't have to eat lunch. It is a nice small place with a cute vibe and a small parking lot and it is fine to eat their for a brief time which I did once although I prefer to take it home since it is quite loud inside. Ordering your food is strange since they give you your ticket and then they call out your number when your food is ready. Either way the burrito makes up for it since it has a lot of meat and potatoes in there. read more

Waited 45 mins in the drive thru (yes, 45 mins lol) only to be given someone else's order that probably didn't end up picking it up or they messed up on. From the drive-thru to my house food doesn't end up cold like that. We ordered sausage only burritos, one was cut in half and had bacon which some people like but we don't. They were cold, not warm or room temperature, but cold. Cheese was already hard. Even after warming them up in the microwave they just didn't taste well.. Wish I didn't give them tip but I did and hopefully the guy running around in the heat kept it Two stars for the good green salsa and for the guy that came out and took the order of the people in line. read more

They have great food but terrible customer service. I went here and the woman who was taking my order said to me "do you have a call order?" I replied "no" and then she proceeded to tell me in an attitude way that they only take online/phone orders. If this was the case then why did that car in front of me wait like 10 mins. It's definitely one of the better breakfast burritos out there. I cant say it's the best I've had. Sorry. Not even the best one IMO in Burbank... But it is good. And it is BIG... for a breakfast burrito. There is a good amount of potatoes and eggs, a little cheese but not enough meat for me. I ordered bacon/sausage. I just feel with a breakfast burrito that size, there should definitely be more meat. The flavors are good. Not taking anything away from that. But it was just lacking a little bit for me. More cheese and more meat would have nailed it. The bright green salsa was good but not as spicy as I expected. The price point is ok. It's just around $5. read more

So along those lines I recommend this clean mom and pop hamburger stand with plenty of free and easy street parking, shaded outdoor dining tables and indoor air-conditioned dining tables for an affordable breakfast. Even though it shares the same name as that bargain diner chain, Norm's in Burbank makes a DELUXE OMELET for only $9.65 that is packed with thick cut bacon pieces, melted American cheese, mushroom and fresh avocado slices. It comes with hashbrowns that are toasty on the top, two big slices of toast (including rye), jam and house-made green salsa. The restaurant is not fancy, but is clean, simple and has an "A" rating from the health department. Their coffee is mediocre so what I usually do is stop at Starbucks or Coffee Bean on the way over and bring my own hot coffee with me. Norm's breakfast prices are even lower and cheaper than any chain coffee shop for about the same price as eating a smaller breakfast at any fast food chain restaurant. Even the big chain Norm's omelet prices are way higher than "Little Norm's" and not as generous with the amount of bacon and other ingredients. So next time you're in west Burbank and you're craving for a satisfying, but extra affordable breakfast, keep Norm's Burgers in mind. BREAKFAST is also served ALL DAY. The food was great, however I wish the staff had been more assertive with this guy refusing to wear a mask. I watched as he was gently reminded by the woman at the counter, and he was very rude and aggressive in return. It's clear he's ignoring the "no mask no service" signs, and he's even wearing a face covering around his neck, indicating he puts it on some places he goes. Just want to alert this business that anyone can print a fake anxiety certificate from the internet and claim this as a reason to not wear a mask (an employee told me he did this before when they tried to get him to wear a mask), and allowing this guy to berate staff and put other customers at risk is not acceptable.
