    Veggie Breakfast Burrito
    Sydney O.

Food was so fresh and service was very friendly. We stopped late morning for some breakfast burritos and there was no crowd and no wait. I got the veggie breakfast burrito and it was awesome. The hash browns inside were my favorite because they were actually crispy! The only thing I might change next time is to order extra eggs. We also got the Jamaica drink and it wasn't too sweet, which sometimes is hard to come by. You order from their window and they have a few tables set up outside. It's a great ambiance especially on a beautiful day! Hope to come back soon.

Hands down best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Can't explain how much I love the chorizo one. Not too spicy, everything is melted together beautifully, tater tots are so crunchy. Enough said. Lovely to eat outside on a nice morning after a hike!

Breakfast burrito spot definitely a go to place in Burbank. A little pricey but taste and portions are worth it. It's a carry out place no restrooms.

    Garbage

The breakfast burrito I ordered was extremely disappointing, especially for the $18 price. The tortilla didn't even seem warmed up. The hash browns tasted exactly like the frozen patties you buy in a bag at the grocery store, and the entire burrito was dripping with grease. The only decent part of the meal was the egg, which unfortunately was the only component that tasted somewhat fresh. For nearly $20, I expected a properly prepared breakfast burrito with fresh ingredients, not something that felt thrown together with low-quality frozen items. Same goes for the sausage patty that taste like a frozen Jimmy Dean one. I would have been better off staying home and heating up a Hot Pocket. It would have cost a fraction of the price and probably tasted just as good, if not better

Good but overpriced burrito. There is a lot of competition in this area. Especially where a higher end café has a better burrito at a lower price. But it was good at least. When I went, they only had the outside sidewalk seating, which was kind of annoying because the umbrella was not covering the sun, and it was way too hot. Meh. Moving on.

I stopped in early one morning to get a Breakfast Burrito (Eggs, Cheese, Hashbrowns, Bacon, and Pico de Gallo) after a couple of my friends asked if i ever had one from this place. I usually go to another place a couple blocks away that is very well known for there Breakfast Burritos but I felt adventurous and gave it a try. I was not disappointed! The Burrito was definitely "different" than what I am used to... same basic ingredients... just different. It was loaded with Crispy Bacon that sung to me every bite I took. It was like a Bacon Orchestra. Crunch, Crunch, Mmmm! You order through a little window, they call you when it is ready, and they do have a couple of tables in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk. With that being said, the Service was outstanding! Now.. there isn't much to the service, but the lady that took my order was awesome. She was so sweet and had a smile the whole time. She made sure I got my hot sauces (one red and one green sauce), extra napkins, and a straw for my Orange Juice.. ohhh yeah, I got a small OJ, and it is delicious! I wish I had gotten a large! Tip: Next time, I am going to get my Burrito with the Pico on the side. I think I would enjoy it even more that way. It is good, but for me, I don't expect Pico to be the Star of the show but to complement it. Get It! I will be returning! #jsho

    American Breakfast Burrito

Breakfast burrito #6 0/5 = SPIT IT OUT 1/5 = one bite is enough 2/5 = two bites is enough 3/5 = decent 3.5/5 = decent but tastier 4/5 = so good 4.5 = almost 5/5 good 5/5 = LADY GAGA (inspired by her interview meme "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.") YOOOOOOOO. New favorite breakfast burrito spot!! Cute little shop in Burbank. Just pass corner cottage and you will get there ;) I ordered the American breakfast burrito and selected bacon for my first try. The pico de gallo inside is an amazing addition. The hash browns are super crisped! A very nice size and two nice salsas come with (the red is my favorite). Definitely coming back! 4.5/5

    Chile Relleno Burrito. Well cooked.

This is a nice little walk up window joint with tables outside. Let's do this: 3.5 STARS (good, but a little expensive) 3 STARS = A-Okay! 4 STARS = I'm a fan LOCATION It's sidewalk dining, but super casual. Plastic chairs and tables. I don't think there's a bathroom? Next time, I'll check. Relatively close to Griffith Park, nice views of Verdugo mountains looking north across the street. Also close to Burbank Equestrian Center, and LA Kings Ice at Pickwick. It was pretty loud today with cruising motorcycles passing by, but only temporarily. SERVICE Really friendly. Peek through the window for order and pick up. FOOD The food was ok. There are quite a few vegetarian options on the menu. The chile relleno burrito is good. There is plenty of cheese, the chile is cooked well, but I'll try something different on the next visit. My son got the carne and camarones mojado. He LOVED it. I remarked how big it was. He said he'd eat it all no problem, but he couldn't finish it because it was so much food. This was massive. Tacos were really good according to my wife, the side salad and beans weren't really necessary. Get tacos not the plate. Jamaica is made fresh. Not powdery. Definitely coming back here for more of this menu. It's a little expensive for the menu items. PARKING There's plenty of street parking everywhere around there.

Employees were super friendly and we were excited that they were showing the telemundo World Cup coverage. The menu was great. We split the carnitas plate and got Long Island iced tea. The brought out complimentary chips and salsa as well. The salsa was so good! The carnitas plate was awesome. It came with rice and beans and plantains. It was perfect for us to split. If we were still hungry, we already had planned on ordering à la carte tacos, but the plate was perfect. We were pleased. The menu was great, food was good, drink was good, and we had a nice time! Completely different menu. Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..
