    TPMS FAILED

    I bought a used Ram 1500 from North County Ford, and my post-sale experience was disappointing. Within a few days several issues showed up: the TPMS stopped working next day, the ParkSense system was failing intermittently, and the differential was leaking oil, even though the truck was supposedly inspected and "in great condition." I also reported a water leak coming from the roof antenna or possibly the rear window. The service dept said they needed approval to fix it, but I never heard back. In the end I had to fix the ParkSense and the differential leak myself. The water leak is still pending. I understand it's a used truck, but that doesn't justify selling it with problems and going silent after the sale. If you're thinking about buying here, think twice. I'm still hoping North County Ford will step up and help resolve the remaining water leak issue.

    Brought my car into the service department for an oil change,tire rotation, and a 99 point inspection on April 16, 2026 after my service was done drove home. when I got home I noticed radiator fluid coming from my car open up the hood just to realize all the radiator fluid had leaked out through a leaking hose. Contacted Ford on april 20th 2026. Make them aware of the situation I found it very suspicious that my vehicle has a radiator leak after an inspection and oil change the tire rotation. Janet, who was helping me advise me that they would tow the car to their location to see what they could do I explained to Janet if there was nothing that could be done then I would like my car towed back. after having my vehicle all day. I called about six times left a voicemail and I got no calls return. I had to go down at 5:30 PM on April 20,2026 to see what was going on with my vehicle just to be told that they're not sure if they're going to cover anything and it's due to the fact that they don't feel like they're liable for this even though they didn't catch this during the inspection. They also made me aware that they didn't know how much the part was gonna cost even though their parts department is right next-door to their service department, which I went over And I found the price for the part, bought the part for them went to go give it to them. I do not recommend this service department they don't catch issues and they don't communicate .if you want a bad experience and poor service and lied about what they do to your car and service then this is the place to go.

    Showed up to bring our lease back early and run the numbers. We showed up right at 10am and the lady that walked out was unwilling to help us unless we were going to make another ford purchase with the lease return. Hilarious and a complete kook, only willing to do something if we were purchasing a new ford. "Oh no you'll need to make an appointment for that if you aren't making another purchase" For the record Encinitas ford just took 30 mins to give us numbers and told us they would buy our car back and we could walk away, no appointment needed! Avoid North County Ford at all costs!

    My daughter was hit and totaled her Bronco Sport. I needed a replacement and went 5 local dealers and dealt with more online. When I went to North County Ford, Oscar Gomez was my salesman and he was fantastic. He worked hard to locate the exact car I was looking for and the negotiation was simple. Great car, great time. Then you gear up for finance, usually more smoke and mirrors but Mike Cottrell made the paperwork so simple. Great guy, great process. Then Oscar walked me through all the features, connected my iPhone to the car and made sure I was handled. Thank you North County Ford!

    A friend referred me to Carpair. I liked working with Britt…read more My car sold within one day. Britt told me the price and I asked for a little higher price. She successfully negotiated for the price I wanted since my car was in high demand due to its' great gas mileage. Carpair is the only place I will go to buy or sell a car. An employee came to my home and did a diagnostic test and took photos of my car. This was so much better than trying to sell my car myself. Carpair paid for the Uber home after I dropped off my car at the car dealer. Thank you Britt!

The start was great--the app is smooth, and I received a call immediately after putting in my info. I was helping my office sell some cars and thought this would be a faster way to get it done. However, the process quickly turned frustrating. I told the rep, Britt, that we already had a Carmax offer for $12,500 and didn't want to waste anyone's time or money if they couldn't beat it. She "danced around" the question but eventually insisted her experience and systems showed we'd get more. Two days later, the offer was the exact same amount I already had. Instead of being upfront, she pressured me to take the "lowball" deal. To make matters worse, I ended up with a $98.00 bill for a service that provided zero added value. They acted like I was the one wasting their time, despite them failing to meet the price they promised. I wouldn't recommend this to friends or family--you'll get the same price at Carmax with much less work and no surprise fees.

    We had an AMAZING experience with Austin--seriously, he went to bat for us like no other…read more We were at the dealership for about 8 hours negotiating (yes... EIGHT I was determined to go home with this car but convincing my fiancé was the hard part, the price had to be right), and not once did Austin make us feel like we were being difficult or wasting his time. He stayed patient, kept working numbers, and kept coming back with better and better options. At one point we even left to go to Chili's to take a break, called back, and he was STILL fighting for us. We traded in my 2012 Honda civic and they matched the carmax estimate. Austin was funny and made us feel comfortable in our decision. He even helped me clean out my trade in! The sales manager, Tommy, even told us straight up that Austin was pushing hard behind the scenes to make this deal happen for us--and it showed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and isn't just there to make a quick sale. Car buying can be exhausting and stressful, but Austin made sure we felt heard, respected, and taken care of the entire time. We ended up with a deal we feel really good about, and that's 100% because of him. Meeting with the finance guy, Justin was also very comfortable and he made it a breeze and found us a good deal on an extended warranty. If you're going to this dealership, ask for Austin.     Went on a Saturday with an appointment looking to trade in my car to get a new HRV. I spent a good…read moreamount of time with Joseph who was kind and patient while I test drove vehicles but since he isn't a Costco certified sales person, he couldn't do the deal for us. I had to wait for Austin Pickard to get the numbers. Austin came by, DIDN'T greet us or even say thank you for waiting. Nothing. On top of that, I had a carmax online offer in hand. When you drive up, this dealer has a huge sign on their building that says that they BEAT carmax pricing. Wrong. They inspected my vehicle and offered me $2k less than what carmax offered me since I didn't have it evaluated in person (which makes sense) but they weren't willing to even come close to the Carmax offer. Additionally, when he was showing me numbers, he added all of the extras that I didn't ask for at all and listed the loan interest rate at 7.99% saying that was the standard interest rate for Honda Financial. Austin made zero effort to ask me qualifying questions about me and what I was looking for and didn't even bother to communicate with Joseph who asked these questions on the test drive. I walked out. I then went to Carmax who CONFIRMED their online offer after seeing the vehicle in person and gave me the offer in writing. I took that offer and went to Honda of Escondido who MATCHED the offer for my old car. They greeted me, LISTENED to me, asking me what I was wanting and looking for. We made the deal and I got the car I wanted at an incredible price with an incredible interest rate. Never recommending this dealer to anyone. Go to Escondido!

The process was easy and honest from the start. We agreed on a fair price for both of us and they had no problem with me taking the truck to an independent mechanic before buying it. After purchasing it, I also had my longtime mechanic look it over and he said it was in fantastic shape. Several months later the truck has been great. It needs normal maintenance, which is expected with the mileage, but there have been no major issues at all. The owner and his wife were both incredibly kind and easy to work with. We test drove a 2026 Mazda CX-50 hybrid and liked it, then asked to see the non-hybrid version. The salesperson brought one out--but did not clearly disclose it was a 2025 model. We take responsibility for not catching that detail and not double-checking before purchasing. That said, we were specifically looking at 2026 models, and when we asked for a non-hybrid version, we expected to be shown a 2026, not a different model year without clear explanation. More transparency would have gone a long way. It also didn't help that the salesperson seemed unfamiliar with the vehicle and couldn't answer many of our questions. Even more concerning, the car has only about 2,000 miles and is already back in the shop for a clicking noise that doesn't sound normal. For a new vehicle, that's unacceptable and raises serious concerns about safety and reliability!!! Overall, this experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Buying a car here did not bring peace of mind--it created more stress.

The service advisors share responsibility here, know their stuff, and communicate well. On today's visit, Bobby greated me, nearly diagnosed our issue straight away, and then negotiated with the manufacturer on our behalf for a non-covered item to get a better rate. The car was rinsed (not washed or dried) and ready to go in just a little longer time than quoted. NOTE - Credit Card charges now come with a 2% fee tacked on. This isn't appreciated, as it's a cost of having a guarantee for payment feom the credit card company. Any points we earn from the card provider (Visa, Master Card, etc.) is essentially reduced or nullified. Service Department is Recommended

I reached out to Toyota Carlsbad as their website showed they had a 2026 RAV4 FWD in stock. Hamid, the salesperson, reached back out to me to let me know that they did not have that specific configuration in stock, but had an open reservation that was in transit. He let me know I could put a refundable deposit to reserve it. I decided to proceed with that and it was very easy with their reservation system. Hamid kept me up to date on the status of the vehicle. When it arrived, my wife and I scheduled a time to do a test drive. When we got to the dealership, it was out and ready for us. Hamid showed the car and its features to us. My wife did the test drive as I needed to watch our baby. After the test drive, Hamid gave us a quote for the car and some options. The quote was very competitive and he did not try to pressure us into any add-ons. We wanted to think about it for a day as we were test driving other cars, which Hamid was amenable to. My wife and I talked it over and were having a hard time picking which car we liked. Since I did not get a chance to test drive the RAV4 myself, I reached back out to Hamid the next day and asked if he was okay letting me come back to test drive myself. He was fine with that and I came back up to test drive. Hamid let me take my time and really let me feel out the RAV4. After driving it, I decided that it wasn't a fit for us. I let Hamid know. He had no issues with that and was extremely professional. Overall was very happy with my experience. Hamid was straightforward, honest, communicative, and overall great to work with. If we want to look at a Toyota in the future, I will definitely reach out to Hamid and Toyota Carlsbad.

Caesar even text me the CarFax paperwork and sure enough the car was not a v6. I wasted so much time, and am blown away by the rookie move a car salesman did. Study your cars, know what you are selling before meeting with repeated customers. Even sent a email to Jeff, in Sales no response and called on my lunch hour Tuesday. Toyota you can do better, you should be ashamed.
