Jason had car posted as being in great condition, well that was a lie. My son drove car from Sacramento to his house in Stockton. By the time he got to stockton the car was slipping gears so first thing today he first took to a shop and was told the Transmission in the car is no good. He then called Jason and let him know the car he sold him had a bad transmission. Jason told him sorry, too bad no warranty. So after reserching the law we found that any dealer selling a used car 40k or less is supposed to offer a two day 250 mile return for 75.00. This was not offered. Jason abviously knew the car had problems and chose to take a young college student for everything he had. When we called him this afternoon to explain the law that as a dealer he should know, he didn't care said it wasnt his problem. This guy would rip off his own grandma to make a buck. I feel sorry for anyone who buys from this guy! If your reading this please share to as much social media as possible in Sac. Area. We are now in the process of fileing a complaint with the BBB and the Automotive bureau. As soon as we are able we will also be fileing a lawsuit in small claims. We ended up trading the car in at a different dealership in June, so 4 months later. I called so many times to get ahold of Leanne, she was NEVER in the office. The gentleman that would answer claimed she was the only person that could do any type of cancellation. I can't tell you how many messages I left with no callback, how many times I've left my name and number with the guy who answered. I asked for a manager to call me, never did. Sent Leanna an email, no response. I finally ended up getting ahold of her over the phone and she said she got my email, but couldn't take the time to respond. I confirmed that we wanted to cancel my warranty and my gap. I received a paper in the mail that we filled out and returned. A couple weeks later I sent another email to follow up on the process. Leanne informed me that she had processed the cancellation of the gap. I asked about the warranty cancellation, which she told me she was unaware I wanted to cancel both. Which I thought was odd since I told her we traded the car and I wanted to cancel both items. Why would I keep a warranty on a vehicle that I no longer own. I have attached my email of me requesting the cancellation of both also, yet she claims she was unaware. It's been almost two months and I have yet to receive my refund for my cancellation of gap and or my warranty. I reached out to the warranty company directly this morning and they informed me that they have yet to receive anything from the dealership on us wanting to cancel. I don't understand why this process is taking so long. We actually traded two cars at that time and I have already received our refunds on the other car. I don't know if this is some part of a shady thing they do hoping that people forget so they can keep the money. It just all seems weird. We traded the vehicle 6/24/26 and as of 8/11/26 we have yet to receive any refunds and the warranty company and gap insurance are both saying they have and zero communication from the dealership. The dealership hung up on me after I requested to speak with the GM. No communication from the GM Leanne told me to "go boil in it" Very professional staff, they should be proud.
