I an biased because the owner is muslim (he told me when we left) and i was ready to give him all my money. I was ready to support him so he can hire more hands which would equate to less wait times for Guest. But the employee said they did just fry them. The owner said my employees never lie Brother all you had to do is make new fries for the order you forgot. Especially when i witnessed you treat the customers before and after us (we waited a long time) with great service and even hooking them up. There was no yelling or vulgarities involved, just no respect for the customer you forgot the order for. My sandwich got cold because I waited for my Cousins order (i didnt know they forgot). All you had to do is fry up fresh fries, maybe add some extra because you forgot the order. Then all four of us wouldve brushed off all the minor Inconveniences and came back happily. Salaam alaikum I was excited to come here after reading reviews from online. I waited for an hour for my food beef brisket sandwich. I witnessed special treatment for customers that ordered after me and their food was prepared literally 10 mins. Couple of customers in front of me witnessed the same. A customer ordered beef brisket poutine and his order was also forgotten. Instead of understanding the customers frustration they started to argue. The man was wronged for fries.I feel bad witnessing this. There is a certain level of customer service expected when you are in the food business you should assess the situation . Meh, i have had better. Not impressed with the food. Sides need a major improvement and service is below average. Owners are very very rude especially the woman who is just plain ugly and i am not talking about her face. I don't think they will be able to sustain for a long time. I saw an incident with my own eyes where she was cursing the customer on his face and he was very very civil to her in return. I really felt bad for the guy when he said "I didn't even open my fast and you are treating me like this" and she replied "good for you". Very sad to see how they treat people especially who are paying them for their average tasting food. I am never going there again and I felt really uneasy by her attitude to someone who was plain respectful. I will make sure I tell people about this incident too. Shame on you seriously. read more

The short ribs were flavorful but it was overcooked with very little meat. The fat was like plastic. Unedible. The sirloin burger was good and a great deal. The rest of the food felt like rip off and was not filling at all for the price. The coleslaw had just cabbage and tasted terrible. Would only come back for sirloin or brisket burger. Was very disappointed with the experience overall. I don't know what refund the owner is talking about coz I didn't get any. Any reason why I was waved away like a hungry dog from your restaurant? Ill give you a customer service tip: if your opening time states you are open, when a customer walks up you let them in with a smile, apologize for the delay with opening and invite them to sit down and wait while you finish your preparations. Change your opening time or your attitude. And another tip while Im at it, small restaurants like yours REALLY depend on the reviews. Terrible management. Ordered ribs for pick up on Uber Eats and they called me 2 min before pick up to tell me they don't have anymore ribs. Then they canceled the order but didn't refund me at all. I was charged for the full meal and they insisted that there was nothing they could do on their end - they had inputted it as "customer canceled order" which was a blatant lie. Came for the first time I'll never come again. My plate was literally 3 pieces of meat. a little dab of coleslaw. A very small portion of mac and cheese, and a very small portion of fries. The food was not impressive by looks or taste wise. And it was over $100 on top of that drinks are not included, and the service was very bad. I tried Northern Smokes in Highland Creek. The restaurant's appearance wasn't very appealing, and the food took a bit long to prepare. I tried the burger and fries, and the flavors were decent but the burger was overcooked. They have a variety of smoked and BBQ dishes on their Halal menu, which looked interesting. The food had zero taste to it, I like more flavour in my meat. It was also served cold. It was my first time having brisket and it wasnt a good experience. First time here and ordered a $14.70 corn beef sandwich which was COLD. Wanted to go back in and have them warm it up, but the female cashier with the tattoos had already rubbed me the wrong way. These guys really took advantage of ramadan , portions were fit to be on a mcdonalds happy meal menu and the prices for it were ridiculous . Cant forget the microwaved cornbread . Pretty sure they served me food that was several hours old. Meat was dry, hard and chewy. My friend received food that was worse than what I got, he threw up later that night. We wont be coming back. You need to serve fresh food. Cant be serving something thats been sitting there for hours. Thats how people get sick. read more

Portions are not as per the price, but this is not the reason for my one star review, it is the treatment of their staff and I think the cook who I believe is also the owner. They all are very rude and I felt disrespected as to how they treated our family. Will never go there again. read more
