Fairly new restaurant in the Del Ray area. Plenty of parking in the lot and on the streets. Nice outdoor area to eat. I've only eaten in the bar side of the restaurant. They have great happy hour special, a good atmosphere, nice staff, and variety of beers. Highly recommend the short rib poutine and main short rib entrée with risotto. Pulled jalapeño chicken sandwich and fries are delicious too. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes soon. read more

Needed to find a good place to eat near the Regal 10 cinemas in Alexandria. Northside 10 was 4 min away. I ordered the blackened catfish with green beans. The fish was cooked well. A very tender and flavorful preparation the green beans were crispy. We also ordered the truffles asparagus and they also were cooked well - crispy and full of truffle flavor (they seem to use truffle oil). To accompany my dinner, I ordered a bourbon Manhattan. It was prepared quickly and mixed well by the bartender. I recommend this spot lots of locals enjoying their well cooked dinners. read more

This was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Like seriously it was amazing. We started with the risotto fritters and short rib poutine which were both out of this world, then I had the Parmesan crusted flounder that was perfectly crispy without too much breading and came with lump crab meat and a shrimp rice mix with asparagus and tomatoes and it was SO delicious. Had the service been better it would have been 4 stars. We went on a Saturday afternoon when it was not crowded wanting raw oysters. Unfortunately they only serve raw oysters on Tuesday and Wednesday. Once seated, it took the waiter over 5 minutes to take our drink orders with other employees just standing around looking at us. We decided to split an oyster poboy which did come out quickly and they graciously put on separate plates. The poboy was a good and had a large portion of oysters. So we hit this place up on the last day of the holiday weekend for brunch. Great decatur and layout, gives off comfy feels and the bar is classy. I can only speak on brunch for the grub. One ordered the bacon benedict blt, it wasn't bad, had a bite and was like meh... nothing wild though. I just ordered eggs any style (me: over easy, home fries with turkey bacon on whole wheat toast). No turkey bacon and only rye bread for toast...so no meat for me. You can tell a lot about how 1 cooks an over-easy egg, it was close to how I cook my own so no complaints. Little too funny but deal'able. The drinks didn't do much for me. I got an old fashioned and a few of the others off their cocktail menu we're shared but the proportions we're inconsistent and it didn't taste mixed. For the price of a cocktail here I was expecting more. The coffee was excellent! I'll try the bar here next time, not writing it off. read more

I was so impressed with this place. I'm from a small town just outside Boston and we have no lack of great food options. In visiting the D.C. Area with a group of 25, I was tasked with finding a place to eat. For Easter Sunday there are a plethora of options for lunch in the Nova and DC area. With my mom and brother coming to visit for the day, I wanted to make sure the place I picked was memorable and delicious. I scoured the internet and settled upon Northside 10. I'm so glad we went there! The menu had so many amazing looking options that it was difficult to choose. Many restaurants in DC require that you order from the brunch menu but they offered us the lunch, brunch, and special menu. I settled on the jambalaya and it was incredibly flavorful, unique and filling. One of the best jambalayas I've had! Not only was the food amazing, but our server Mike did a fantastic job explaining options and making recommendations. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and funny. He was genuinely invested in us having a good experience. In addition to all of these things, the restaurant has a lot of character with its decor. Food was good. We sat at the bar. We really liked the risotto fritters. Steak salad tasty as was the cobb salad. The corn bread on the side was a nice touch, though the butter was so hard that we really couldn't put it on the corn bread without tearing it to shreds. Portion sizes were good. Beer not as cold as it should have been. Female bartender cursing her head off, paying attention mostly to her usual customers and either ignoring or being dismissive to everyone else. We were kind of hoping we could incorporate this place into our rotation of places to hang out, but there was something about it that just made us feel like we were intruding.... Recently while visiting Arlington, my girlfiend suggested we try this bar. We arrived shortly after opening & had a late lunch & beers. I had the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich & it was very tasty. The local IPA I drank also was great, though I forget the beer's name. The bartender was friendly & the clientele low-key. Will go there again next time I'm in NoVA.
