    Omnivore Pizza

Stopped by on Sunday after church with a group of friends to grab some food and catch the Cowboys game. Pretty standard sports bar style establishment with big screens and plenty of room. My husband enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower he ordered and I tried some of my friends' omnivore pizza - good amount of toppings and tasty crust edges, though I did wish the bottom was more crispy and less floppy. Solid place to catch a sports game!

Stacked pint glasses at Northside Drafthouse -- fun college bar vibes with pool tables and plenty of TVs.

Northside Drafthouse has that classic college hangout feel--lots of space, TVs everywhere, and a fun energy. The beer selection is solid, and I like how they keep things interesting with trivia nights and rotating options. Definitely a spot where you'll find a younger crowd, so if you're into that college vibe, this place nails it. Great spot to grab a drink, play some games, and just hang out.

Who would've thought that a college bar would have the best pizza? I remember going to UTD when the drafthouse first opened and living right above it when the pandemic hit. This place was so clutch and their pizzas are amazing. Normally I get the Mac daddy pizza but this time around I ordered the Nashville Fried Chicken Pizza. This tastes just as good as I remember in college and would GLADLY drive back up to campus just to have it again.

I came back! So many beers to choose from there is no way to knock them all out in one day so I had to come back. Checked a few more off my list. Nice little college bar to TAP into the scene.

I have never eaten here but would consider it. Service is pretty good when it comes to ordering drinks. Ambiance is great. Do expect to see some college kids and sometimes little kids with their family, but at night would be a more different crowd. They also have board games and pool tables which is awesome! Lots of beer selection!

It was pretty crowded with a good mix of UTD students and us neighborhood locals. The family and I stopped in for a quick bite, beers a plenty, and bragging rights for the year for the darts winner. I went with the patty melt and it was okay, I went with Goose Island on tap and a game of darts. Great family fun. See you next year.

The service was not great. Bartender wasn't helpful and we seemed like more of a burden when just trying to order a beer.

We had the deviled eggs and lump crab cakes to start, and both were SO good. Prices were great too. Our waitress, Staci (or Stacy), was AMAZING. Sweet, funny, great at banter, and incredibly attentive. Even when she was busy, she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she was at our table, we had her full attention, she checked on us the perfect amount, and we never had to ask for anything twice. She was on top of her game! My only complaint was a really awkward interaction at the end. I wanted to ask Staci two simple questions: whether they carried an olive gin I'd had in Europe (they didn't, but I haven't found it anywhere) and whether I could buy a roll of quarters because we were going to play pool. Somehow this turned into 5-6 staff members gathering around, plus this random blonde lady in a white T-shirt and jeans joining the conversation. Aside from Staci and the blonde lady, no one else even acknowledged me. They just stood there looking at me. It was weird. It felt like a lot of unnecessary attention over two simple questions and made me pretty uncomfortable. Having another customer involved was honestly the weirdest part. It was disappointing because we'd had such a great experience up until then. I went from thinking, "I need to bring my friends here!" to leaving feeling pretty unwelcome. Food: delicious. Atmosphere: beautiful. Prices: great. Staci: WONDERFUL. I just wish the interaction at the end had matched the rest of the experience. I changed my rating from two stars to four stars because I didn't feel like one bad interaction was worth two stars and I was a little flustered when I originally wrote my review.

My friends took me here for my 60th birthday!! Outside of the perfect steaks and stellar service (a great big thank you to Brad our amazing waiter), the music stole the show!! They have this insanely talented musician who performs Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6:30 PM .. he literally has his stage on a landing pad halfway up the staircase with his own little music kingdom. One guy. Several instruments. Electric guitar and saxophone were played effortlessly. You can make requests, which adds to the fun! For example, "Sweet Caroline" was a song that everyone sang along throughout the restaurant lol. Then came something I didn't expect. This musician has made it his personal mission to play our National Anthem on Fridays and Saturdays 7pm sharp. Everyone naturally stood -up, the whole room joined in, hand over their hearts, so much patriotic passion and energy. It was truly beautiful to see people come together in that moment. And just when I thought the night couldn't get better, out came a birthday dessert .. a warm homemade cookie with ice cream and a real sparkler. It was a show stopper!! I haven't seen a sparkler since I was ten lol. Apparently, birthdays are a big deal here, because it felt like every table around us had their own sparkler birthday/ anniversary moment. It was hilarious ... and I loved it! If you're looking for a memorable experience or just a relaxing delicious meal, nothing compares to Texas y'all. TIP: they have valet parking! TIP: they take reservations!

We only saw 2 workers the whole time we were there which made sense with how slow it was. Ordered some drinks and they were not the best. My partner did not enjoy his at all since it was basically just margarita mix. We quickly noticed that the prices on the menu were modified, handwritten new prices with pen on paper than was then taped over the old prices, with many dishes having increased by $5 compared to the prices shown on their website. We get it, inflation has been crazy, but that seemed drastic. The food was fine but in our opinion definitely not worth the increased prices. My dish (Rib Eye) was a good portion size and the flavor was fine, but it didn't blow my mind. The Arroz Poblano was a very sad portion size. Service was very slow throughout our whole visit, which is wild because we were the only ones there. An explanation on the delay between drop ins would've been nice. Sadly it just didn't meet our expectations and I'm not sure we will return. Maybe it was an off day for them, because many other reviews are filled with praise, but as of now we'll just opt for other Latin food spots we know.

For entrees I ordered their braised short rib. I am a short rib snob, so believe me when I tell you that this was the best short rib I ever had. For dessert, I had the Tres Leches, which was amazing! The service was also on point, and the interior decorations were quite beautiful. An amazing restaurant that deserves more than only five stars! I can't recommend it highly enough!!!
