I ordered a custom birthday cake and paid $117 upfront through Zelle…read more After I sent the payment, the owner informed me she no longer had access to that Zelle account. She said she would contact her bank and still confirmed my order. Just two days before my daughter's birthday party, the owner told me her family had norovirus and offered to either make the cake or cancel with a full refund. I appreciated her honesty and chose to cancel since the cake would be served to many children. Having to find a replacement cake only two days before the party caused me a great deal of stress, a parent planning a large birthday celebration, this added unnecessary pressure during an already busy time. Despite that, I remained understanding because I knew her family's illness was beyond her control. The owner asked for other ways to refund me, I sent her my Venmo information and she promised my refund would be sent "in the next couple of days." More than a week later, I still have not received my $117 refund despite multiple polite follow-up messages. I also contacted my bank, but they explained they couldn't dispute the payment because it was successfully sent to her Zelle account. Since the recipient banks with a different financial institution, they couldn't investigate what happened after the funds were received. What frustrated me the most throughout this experience was the lack of communication. I never knew if or when I would receive a response. Sometimes I had to follow up just to get an update, and now my messages have gone unanswered altogether. A simple update would have gone a long way. I understand emergencies happen, and I genuinely appreciated the owner's honesty about her family's illness. However, promising a refund, acknowledging the payment issue was their responsibility and then failing to communicate or issue the refund has been very disappointing. As of today, more than a week after she promised to send my refund, I am still waiting to receive it and have not received any communication from her. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this bakery at all.

Unfortunately for me, they were out of there incredible looking cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. The photos from other Yelpers made me jealous. Instead, I got some donut holes and a chocolate croissant. The nice lady had a thick accent, but we got things figured out, and she even threw in some extra donut holes for me. The donut holes were incredible. Absolutely melt in your mouth. Perfection. The chocolate croissant was not flaky or crispy, but had that classic donut shop chewy texture, and of course, was loaded with chocolate. I HAVE to come back for the apple fritter, as that's one of my favorite donuts, and the cinnamon rolls look insane. I will be back!

So I just tossed the whole cup away, what a waste.

Very tasty. I ordered the Jasmine Tea boba. Pro-tip: you can ask for less sweet on the teas. He customized my milk tea at 50% sweetness. I look forward to coming back to try the pork adobo, order more lumpia and try the spam musubi. It's been awhile since I've had good Filipino food! I tried several types of pastries and the crusts on all of them were exceptional. We noticed this stand when they recently opened at the mall a week or so back. The owner is extremely nice and was willing to explain each item to us with gratitude. All of the desserts, pastries, and bread made are unique and it is beyond impressive his wife and him are able to bake items you don't find anywhere else! This place is honestly amazing. I went to their store and they had so many samples! They were very kind and always smiled. The baklava and the hummus is literally to die for. Not to mention the amazing breads and pastries. My favorite is the Asiago cheese and tomato bread, although the Jalapeño Parmesan was amazing too. This place is a hidden gem at Denio's market in Roseville. They have a great selection of homemade breads and pastries. My favorite is their Jalapeno Parmesan bread and I keep coming for it every weekend. Recently, they began selling homemade fresh dips and, believe me, their hummus is to die for! read more

Therefore, it is extremely difficult for me to travel to Sacramento for my sister's birthday. My sister is a huge Harry Potter fan. I really wanted to make her birthday dinner special. Living in Texas, I was weary of who to go to for specialty cakes in California. Not only did Jessica respond to my emails right away, but she kept me updated and reassured throughout the ordering process. Jessica is very talented and professional! The cake was ready on time and on the day. My sister picked up the cake and wanted to scream as soon as she saw it! It was perfect and looked soooo delicious!! They are massive, amazing and easily shareable. We got the chocolate chip cookies from benji bakes for a birthday party in October, and they were a huge hit! Then she released the snickerdoodle/cinnamon roll cookie for fall, we ordered half a dozen for our family thanksgiving dinner, and it was not enough !!! I am not a snickerdoodle fan and I could not stop myself from eating more than one! These cookies are soft, moist, and 100% gourmet. I highly recommend.

The cake (2 flavors) is not only delicious but EXCEEDED my expectations in appearance. Gina is always easy to communicate with and is such a freaking INCREDIBLE artist. I was so wrong. We devoured the cupcakes - they were moist, fluffy, just the right size, and perfect amount of sweetness. Holy Christmas I'm drooling just thinking about it. They are on par with my all-time favorite cupcake shop in Seattle, Trophy Cupcakes. That's saying a lot. The only thing about this place is that I haven't tried more of their items! Luckily, we were able to reach out and get a cake made at the last minute. The owner made special accommodations for us and went out of her way to make sure we had a great cake and a happy birthday experience. We will never forget her help as she is truly a class act and a terrific cake baker. Delicious.
