When I need a safe, or anyone needs a recommendation, there is only place to go and that is NW Safe. This year I invested in my second safe, and my second purchase from NW Safe. The first was in 2009, and it has served me very well. However as with all collections the safe eventually gets full and it's time to add another. Both times I took advantage of a yearly sale around Black Friday to get a great discount on a safe in stock. I've looked around, and no other local safe dealer has come close to the price and selection. During my first visit to NW Safe back in 2009 I was very new to gun safes and had no idea what separated a safe costing under a grand, and one costing more than $5000. Jeff spent over half an hour walking me through all the key features you want in a quality safe and the differences you get for the money. At no time was there any pressure or urgency to make a purchase. I walked away with a really nice safe that fit my budget. Fast forward to 2015 and my growing collection and safe purchase number two was the exact same experience. I look forward to needing the third safe, but hopefully this time at least ten years from now. I'm confident NW Safe will still be around and ready to help. With both purchases I opted for the delivery and install. Hubs researched safes online and found NW Safe in Enumclaw, so we took a drive. We were greeted by Kael who asked how he could help us. We told him our needs and he showed us several safes from less expensive (but still great) to more expensive. He was no pressure, extremely personable and knowledgeable, and answered all our questions then let us be while we looked them over and chatted. When he spotted us looking at one that was a little shorter, he came over and explained it to us and how it would also work well for our needs. This was it, our perfect safe, exactly what we had in mind. We sat down with him, did the paperwork which was quick and were on our way. Our safe was delivered less than a week later. Gary and Linkin (I think I got their names right? Sorry if not) were amazing! Phoned ahead to let me know arrival time, introduced themselves at my door and then started the prep: laying protective carpet up my stairs, boards on the floor and landing etc. They were happy to answer my questions as I watched the cool lift they have that "walks" the safe up the stairs! What a great machine!! I watched as they placed our safe, they even paid closed attention that it was perfectly in place. Stopped by the shop to look for a Christmas Gift for my husband . Parked on the side of the building so I could smoke thinking my truck would be less noticeable in the event he drove by and 1. Not to interfere with customers with my smoking 2. I don't smoke in my 2019 Ford truck. I Was met with an extremely hostile man asking me what I thought I was doing then him telling me it's private property and then leave he didn't want me there. What kind of customer service is that? These guys were friendly and helpful and had a good selection of nice safes. Although I had some problems with my experience. I asked if I could get the color that was on the show floor because it was the one I wanted. When I got to the back to pick it up it was a completely different color. I said something about the color and they brushed it off and acted like it wasn't a big deal after I spent 2k on a safe. I also had a problem with the fact that I wasn't treated seriously due to my young age. I also noticed after I got it into my house that the "badge" they put on it was just slapped on there with no effort at all, blatantly crooked. Although I kind of find it comical it is pretty disappointing to see something so lazy. I discovered this place at an event at the Puyallup Fair Grounds and made a purchase on the spot about a week earlier. Just got back from visiting their shop in Enumclaw and WOW what a professional operation. From the minute I walked in the door till the time the guys out back loaded up my safe I was made to feel really appreciated and a valuable customer. No pushy sales effort but they do check in with you to see if you need any assistance. I wish now I had taken pitures but alas I was glued to the big screen TV watching Ohio State dismantle Michigan.....also a good part of the day! Before leaving the guys went step by step on the care and feeding of the safe I purchased and we're very careful to make sure I understood everything they went over with me! I have to admit I have never been in any other "Safe" store but I can't imagine any place having a wider selection.
