It required 7 pages of initial paperwork and I received 4 text notifications prior to the appointment. They repeatedly reminded me to attend and informed me that if I wasn't there, and on time, I would be charged at least $75 and possibly more... okay. No problem. I understand. So I arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the forms. The receptionist barked instructions to me and demanded my drivers license. It was strange. Stressful. Then I went to the exam room and the hygienist shared the lengthy explanation of "how they do things." Since I had x-rays 6 months ago, they wouldn't clean my teeth without seeing those x-rays first; and, unfortunately, my former dentists' office was closed, so they sent me home. I still can't believe it and I'm embarrassed. Why didn't they call my dentist last week to get what they needed? They are clear with their time boundaries, but what about working ahead so it's a positive experience for both of us and an efficient use of my time, too? What an embarrassing first appointment that should have been simple and effortless - something's wrong. I won't be back and don't recommend this practice.

I called the office and left a vm explaining what happened. I used to be a dental assistant. You have to check the bite to make sure it's not hitting other teeth and dental work so this doesn't happen. I never got a call back and now I'm stuck with a big expense.

The bridge was old and vulnerable, I was worried and asked Dr Gilbert if he could do the root canal surgery by going through my gum instead of the teeth in the bridge. That is exactly what he did, a very intensive procedure he handled with total precision. I felt no pain at any time. The doctor even had the latest equipment to control the speed/flow of my Novocaine injections so they would not hurt. After the procedure and stitches, I followed Dr Gilbert's advice and am experiencing a remarkable recovery. His staff and assistants are a pleasure to meet and work with whenever you are there. This was decided after only one month of a half treatment and they used a temporarily filling which degrades in one month which is not even enough time to regenerate bone growth. That temporary filling caused me to do the root canal all over again because it got contaminated. They are good for standard root canals but not specially difficult cases.
