This review is to reflect today (1-28-25) I had a full synthetic oil change done on my 2018 chevy silverado 5.3 v8. When I first pulled up there was nobody there the employees were just standing around so I was taken rite in which I was happy with. The guy approached me and asked me what they could do for me the customer service was great until we got to the price. I was told originally 120+ for the vertex oil that they had but I asked for the Mobil1 because it was name brand and I've used it prior. The guy told me that would be more expensive and quoted me 141.00 out the door so I agreed and they got to work. Once they got my truck drained and we're halfway through the oil change an employee approached me and told me that he messed up and it was actully going to be 152.00. Seeing as how my oil was already drained and I didn't have a choice I told them ok and they finished up my truck. I realize it's only 10.00 more but I didn't appericate that,it was very shady and made me not want to return to this place again. I DO NOT recommend this bussiness. read more

Went in for an oil change. I have a prius and the charge was $95, which is more than I expected to pay but I was in a rush. They did though do it in less than 15 minutes. My other place is further and they take longer than this place so I will be coming back for the convenience. Everyone was friendly. These guys are great. Always in and out with no problems. I've had my oil changed and differential fluid flushed and refilled (cheaper if you bring it yourself). They will also flush and refill your coolant which I haven't done yet. Over all great place and cool staff. read more

Changed my oil here recently. They were not busy which was good so I was able to pull right in. You don't get out you sit in the car while they change your oil and that was pretty cool. One of the employees came up to the window right away and started the process. They were fast and friendly. I thought it was a bit much though. Almost $50 for regular oil (not synthetic) and I had brought a new quart of Lucas high mileage oil for them to add. Not overly priced in my opinion, but I usually get it changed for around $37 in Hawthorne and have never had an issue for years. I'd give this place a try though. As I mentioned earlier they are fast and friendly. It took me a total of about 10-15 minutes and I was on my way. Good job guys and thanks again! read more

Did a great job when I went with my wife's car on Monday, so I decided to go back today with my car. They found a pretty major problem (I had a belt that was fraying), and they fixed it right away for a good price. It did take a few hours, so I was kinda stranded, but they did suggest I could come back, but not to drive too much as they were afraid of the belt breaking soon. I agreed to get it switched out right away, and decided to wait. After they took off the belt, they even brought it over to show me the state it was in (it was bad). Thankfully they did the inspection, as I'm sure I would have been stranded by the side of the road (if not worse!) if they didn't. read more

Been going here for a few years but just found out from my wife that they don't do transmission oil changes on my 2016 Honda Odyssey because there's no dipstick for them to check the fluid and we need to go to the dealer. Problem with that is that the last time I got it changed was there. Last time, the guy pulled out the dipstick and showed me that the transmission oil was getting dirty so I got it changed. That only leaves 2 conclusions, they ripped me off and didn't change the transmission oil last time or whoever was there today was too lazy or not competent enough to change it. I believe 15 minutes is my threshold before my ADHD kicks in and I start getting annoyed. Thanks to Norwalk Lube, getting an oil change isn't such a bitch these days. There is no wait but timing is everything. Forget early Saturday and Sunday morning. Your wait can be as much as an hour. Anything after 12 pm is butter. You'll be in and out within 20 minutes. I'm lovin' it. Another reason for anyone to pay Norwalk Lube a visit is the price. I paid a less than half of what Lexus would have charged me. I'd also like to add that the workers are super nice. I thought he was going to sell me air filters or other products but he goes, "OK, we're finished" I was like WTF?!?!?!?! They filled my tire with air, check the fluids and changed the oil. So you know that oil life meter? It starts at 100% and works itself down to 0. Mine read -30%. Yes, it had a negative reading. To my defense, it went from 0 to -30 in less than 30 minutes (I guess engine oil degrades exponentially). So on my way to LA, I yelped for an oil change and this place popped up. I was in a hurry. They said they could take me in right at that moment. And true enough, as I pulled up to park, another was just exiting the lube area (yea, that's what she said). They said it would take 5-10 minutes ... SCORE! So I went across the street to El Pollo Loco for a quick bite while I waited for the oil change. When I came back, the car was ready, but he mentioned my air filter was very duuhhty (in his thick korean accent). $20 extra for the filter change. 2 more minutes and I was back on my way to LA. Great little shop! Two stalls for oil changes and brake work etc. Both of my visits I received prompt and friendly service. About 2-3 people will be working on your car which is why they have Nascar pit type service. Five maybe ten minutes at the max. Oil change is fairly priced around 25-26 bucks. Includes new filter, tire pressure window cleaning, top off and check fluids for maintenance. If any maintenance is required, they will quickly let you know what needs servicing. Of course you can always say no if you feel like getting a second opinion, but why wait? Fix it now!!! read more

I changed oil on my 2014 Hyundai Equus on 6/15/2017. It was my 2nd visit to this place after 3 years of complimentary service by Hyundai. My family get oil change service here on 3 other cars for several years. Owner recommended synthetic oil. After service I was presented with $91.12 invoice. After paying the bill, I called local Hyundai dealership. Oil change for my Equus was $45 with synthetic oil. I understand convenience of getting in and out quick. You pay for convenience but not 2 times cost of dealership service, and this was not an emergency situation. I went back to the place and talked to the owner. His response was real short and simple: Go to the dealer. I am not saying anything about work quality. Oil change is pretty standard. Service makes the difference. My point is that gouging a customer is not a good business practice. I definitely will not be coming back here and so will 3 other cars in my family. read more
