Pita with Tzatziki sauce
Oscar A.

Stopped by the little Greek spot for lunch during my work break. Walking in I was promptly greeted and seated. The server was very polite, and attentive. It was a quiet setting with some music in the background. Loved the feeling as it reminded me of a mom and pop small business you wont find in Queens, NY. I ordered a Greek salad with pork souvlaki and a side of Pita and Tzatziki sauce. Along with my order i was given a lemon chicken soup and garlic bread. Both were delicious. The pita and tzatziki was one of the better ones I've found in the Treasure coast. The salad and souvlaki were good but not the highlight, the service was. Fresh tasting food, and great customer service. Wishing them continued success. Hope to be back soon.

We waited two and a half years for Tom and his lovely chef wife to reopen. They are five miles south on Rte 1 of the original Nostalgia Kouzina. Worth the drive. They're staying with just Greek food but the menu gives you every Greek choice you ever wanted. The service is outstanding, the food delightful, the ambiance is quaint but comfortable. I got the Greek lemon soup, chicken souvlaki with Greek potatoes. My wife got salad, the salmon dish with rice pilaf. We topped it with the flaming custard, filo and ice cream. My also got dolmades. Everything was amazing. We would bring anyone there for a guaranteed amazing time. Thank you Tom. See you soon. PS Tom even gave the mothers a red rose and a Nostalgia coffee mug in order of Mother's day. Nice touch.

Delicious! Picked up lunch at nostalgia, everything was hot and fresh and ready on time. Generous portion of gyro plate, enough for 2 to split or keep it for leftovers. Lunch includes a cup of soup and a side: went with the lemon potatoes, they were cooked perfectly. Loukamades made hot and fresh to order, not too sweet, perfect chewy consistency.

Excellent Greek restaurant with a welcoming greek owner. We got a welcome appetizer, fresh warm garlic bread was very nice and tasty. I had the greek Avgolemono soup, it was very nice. My entree was a greek salad with chicken souvlaki perfectly made, so delicious! My kids had the pasta with greek meatballs which was ok but not the best to try from the menu. Fresh, authentic food, and very generous portions. Food is amazing. Great value! Highly recommend!

Are we back the very next day? YES. We're back for round 2 because we're gonna be leaving Florida soon and of course I couldn't leave without trying their branzino. This time we brought my in laws so we can over order even MORE. We got their branzino, mussels, grilled octopus, and grouper. All their seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, except the grouper which was slightly overcooked. We did let our server know, who was more than open to making it right for us, but we insisted we just eat it.. just notes for next time! For apps we also tried their saganaki which they flamed before serving - a fun little show before our meal. The food really speaks for itself at this restaurant and the locals definitely know it. The restaurant is packed by dinner time. If you're in the area, definitely give this spot a try.

We're thrilled that Nostalgia Greek Taverna has opened in its new South Stuart location! Though the space is small, it feels cozy rather than cramped, with tasteful décor that nods to Greek style without going over the top. It's warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The menu is absolutely lovely, and the food remains just as fantastic as ever. We dined on opening night and were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. I opted for a light dinner of Souvlaki, which was perfectly cooked--though just a touch under seasoned for my taste. It was served with flavorful lemon potatoes and a crisp Greek salad topped with a refreshing house dressing. My husband enjoyed a generous glass of house Merlot (simple but satisfying), along with a well-prepared Gyro and a bowl of hearty vegetable bean soup--so rich and filling it could have been a meal on its own. From presentation to service, everything was thoughtfully done. The ambiance is light, clean, and comfortable--an ideal backdrop for both casual lunches and leisurely dinners. Desserts are made in house and are delicious. With a fantastic lunch menu available from 11-5, an early bird special that delivers great value, a welcoming happy hour, and a delicious dinner selection, this spot is sure to become our weekly go-to. Welcome to the neighborhood, Tom! We're so glad to have you back.

Souvlaki appetizer

So happy to have Nostalgia back!! We stopped in recently and it was just like we remembered--absolutely delish. The souvlaki was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the saganaki... (literally and figuratively) was SO good. Service was friendly and on point, and they've even got a few happy hour drink specials which makes it even better. If you loved it before, you'll love it again. And if you never made it before they closed--go now. So glad they're back!

I've been told by many of my friends that I had to try Olympic Taverna for breakfast, especially to…read moretry their grits which, all have said are the best they've ever had. Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return.

I love Greek food, but this was the worst I've had ever in my life…read more The reviews are way too good compare to what you get. The falafel appetizer and tzatziki had no flavor at all. The chicken gyro seemed like no spices were used, i could not eat it. The greek salad was disappointing as well, with hardly any cucumber, or tomatoes. The server was kind and she also took out my dish from the bill. Overall, it didn't feel authentic at all, which was very disappointing.

I was visiting friends, and since her family is pretty big, this has become their go-to restaurant. She mentioned that the staff never hesitates when a large party walks in and always accommodates everyone without making it feel like an inconvenience. The dining room is one large, open space with tables throughout, creating a lively atmosphere. I absolutely loved it. It was filled with people enjoying incredible food, and you could tell this place was a local favorite. Of course, I had to start with one of their Greek beers, served in a traditional beer mug, which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered the tzatziki and hummus sampler, and I'm so glad we did. The flavors were unbelievable, and they were incredibly generous with the warm pita bread. Honestly, I ate so much of the sampler that by the time it came to order my entrée, all I could manage was a piece of grilled chicken. Even then, I found myself dipping the chicken into the hummus and tzatziki because they were just that good. I left completely full, happy, and even had leftovers to take home. The staff was fantastic--everyone worked together seamlessly, helping one another and making sure every table was taken care of. It created such a welcoming atmosphere. After eating here, it's easy to understand why this restaurant has so many outstanding reviews. The food, service, and overall experience absolutely live up to the hype.

Next to the restaurant there are amazing stores and when your done eating you can go shopping. I got the Greek salad which is a staple there, the fresh vegetables and the cheese is the right amount of bite. I would have ordered two salads because you really want your own. We had the warm pita bread with the taziki, the best part of the meal, this is freshly made and trust me, you taste the garlic in every bite. It's so fresh and homemade. The spanakopita is ok, I get it every once in a while but it's not my favorite. They make a lot of good dishes. I highly recommend this place.

It's a small place, with just 9 tables and an assortment of bar chairs inside, but there is lots of seating outside. We ordered the falafel appetizer. I'm used to a different flavor of falafel and crisper. These were okay, but I don't think I'll order them again. It did come with a nice selection of veggies and plenty of delicious sauce. We also tried the spinach pie appetizer, and it was generous and delicious, big thumbs up. Both of us ordered the gyro sandwich. One of us got fries the other a salad. The fries were good, well-seasoned, maybe could have been cooked a little more for my personal preference. The salad was a nice surprise, tasted great. Both were large portions. We both enjoyed the gyros, and they were also extra large. One of us took half of it home. We ordered takeout for tomorrow, and we aren't exactly sure what we ordered because it looked a little different when we got home and took it out of the bag. However, we are not that familiar with the menu (which is extensive), so maybe we didn't order what we thought, which was a trio that includes 2 sides (beans and a salad), spinach pie, moussaka, and pastitsio. It looks like the moussaka was missing. Service was good, portions extra large. We plan to return and will make sure we check with the server about what exactly we thinking we're ordering when it comes to the takeout, if we do that again. ETA: The takeout we took home was definitely missing the moussaka. The rest of it (pastitsio, pie, and beans) did not taste that good at all. We might give them another try, but we aren't in a hurry to return.
