Well the delivery was made with a BLANK CARD!!! It was so embarrassing. The only reason I did the delivery option was because they were closed Sunday and I needed them on Monday. The quality of these cakes is very good. I needed 5 10 inch cakes to serve 100 guests. I requested that they sliced cakes. NO, corporate won't allow that. I requested that they leave off the add icing that creates a petal on each quarter of the cakes. Blank stare. After questioning, 'why not', ' aren't cakes made here? and you are not willing to work with me on this ?' Finally, the manager, Samantha, agreed to leave it off. Reluctantly. I requested no add icing be added to the middle of the cake as this blob filling up the middle makes it more difficult to slice. She assured me that icing would be smooth on inside. When I was slicing the cakes, they must have forgotten that request on one of the cakes. It seems that everything I needed was met with a negative reaction. Came in to get my friend a cake for her birthday. She loves chocolate and is allergic to red dye so I thought I'd see what Nothing Bundt Cakes has to offer. They have several cake flavors but for chocolate lovers it's all about the Chocolate Chocolate Chip! Once we cut the cake and started at it everybody was raving how moist and delicious the cake was! It was a success! The icing was perfect as well, I think it's a cream cheese based icing. We had a small group for my friend's birthday, about 6 of us so I opted for the smaller, 8" cake. It worked out well for our group because my friend had left overs she could share with her family. Also for a little extra they will dress up the cake with decorative flowers or signs for birthday or other occasions. Lucky for me they always keep the chocolate chocolate chip ready to go so I really only had to wait about 5 minutes for her to decorate the cake. This store is exactly what its name implies. They serve nothing except bundt cakes. They come in different sizes and flavors, but it is nothing bundt cakes. That is not a bad thing, however, because they have mastered doing that. The secret here is in the frosting. The actual cake itself is fine. It's very moist, but it's not unlike cakes I've had elsewhere. None of that matters, though, because the cakes are just frosting delivery devices. No matter the flavor of cake you get, there is only one frosting: cream cheese. They are generous with it and it is the most delicious thing I have ever put in my mouth. If I wanted to complain about something, it would be that they don't sell the frosting by itself in gallon jugs. We come here WAY too often. It is our go-to dessert spot. I have tried all the cake flavors (including the seasonal ones, which change every month) and they are all good, which is to say, they all pair beautifully with the FROSTING!!! The shop is rather small, but they make good use of the space in showing off their products. They have a cold case right up front to display the various sizes of cakes they make. The person behind the counter offered us a bite of the Chocolate Chocolate Chip. The cake was so soft, I could not believe it. It was so good! After a little more contemplation, we made our choices. I chose the Carrot bundtlet and my daughter chose the White Chocolate Raspberry bundtlet. We waited until we got back home and then dug in. Both were absolutely delicious! I bet every one of their other flavors is just as good. At $3.99 each, that is a lot of flavorful fun for the price, and deal in my book. Yum. What a nice place. I was hanging with my sister today and we hit a lot of places. One is this place. So pretty when you walk in. The cake display is right in front of you. They display the mini, bundtini and full size cakes. Samples of red velvet were off to the right. They can make Birthday cakes with all the BD decorations for you. They sell birthday candles and the like. And so many flavors. I went with bundtini lemon, cinnamon swirl and white chocolate raspberry. The raspberry is now left to eat. I don't know how and I'm certain they have a unicorn captured in the back blessing each of these little beauts, but hot dang are they DELICIOUS. The cake is so moist and stupid good that I struggle every time to refrain myself to one small bundlet or a practical slice from a larger cake. The flavors they offer are superb but my two faves are the lemon and the red velvet. I think they signature ingredient that seperates NBC from other places is that cream cheese topping. Customer service is great and I love the individual servings. Not sure how they captured the sugarplum fairy, unicorn, and anything else with magical powers to make these but I'm not complaining. read more

Awesome cakes the frosting is addicting. My only disappointment is they don't give out samples anymore when I take friends that I've never been there before. I did a u-turn that caused my tires to squeal "Dukes of Hazzard" style when I saw the "open" sign on. I am never on the right side of town before the light turns off and I had to take advantage, but I only had two minutes left. I parked and ran and saw an aproned store clerk bringing in the sandwich board from outside. A pack of women getting in their car yelled, "You better run, girl!" as I could hear my poor Dad's cane hurrying along behind me. I PROMISE I am not one of those people who run in at closing and take an hour to make purchases. I want everyone to go home as soon as possible, so as I was running, and hearing the "Chariots of Fire" theme song in my head, I was already selecting what I wanted and taking out my credit card. The aproned store clerk sweetly said, "No worries at all. We're closed tomorrow and everyone needs their cake." His hospitality even at the end of the day when everyone is ready to go home stood out and earned big bonus points! I quickly selected the white chocolate raspberry for me and the pecan praline for my dad, who made it in with a big smile on his face. We grabbed our bundtlets, some spoons, and high-tailed it back to the car to dig in! Cakes are kept chilling in a refrigerated case so the icing is nice and firm and the cake is moist and cool. While I tend to love a warm cake, when it's 100° out, this is a welcomed change. A friend had recommended the white chocolate raspberry flavor, and she TOTALLY knows what she's talking about. My eyes rolled to the back of my head as I got a bite of creamy icing, quickly followed by the delightful taste of sweet raspberry ribbon. As I dug into mine, I turned to look at Dad, who'd been very quiet the whole time. I offered him some of mine and he said, "No wonder you went to another world. Yours is amazing! Mine is, well, can I have more of yours?" I dug into his. The pecans were wonderful, but even with a couple bites, I never detected the praline, and when you live this close to the Big Easy, calling something pecan praline that contains no praline, is a sin. The cake was great, the pecans were lovely, the icing was magical, but I really did miss the praline. We brought the rest home and will tailor it by adding some brown sugar and cinnamon to this wonderful base! No matter what, you can't go wrong with a Nothing Bundt Cake base. One perfect cake out of two wonderful cakes still easily earns 5 stars! And I'm already looking forward to my next visit, Dukes of Hazzard u-turn and all! read more
