Called and asked if they delivered, I was told yes but only to businesses. Was never told a delivery fee but assumed there would be one but that it would be pretty reasonable for a 2.5 mile distance from their shop. Spoke to the manager when ordering and paid on the phone, never told me a total or anything. I even had to remind her to take my payment when we were getting off the phone. I take full responsibility that I should have asked what the total was or what the delivery fee was. I checked my account that night (after they had closed) and saw a $60.50 charge. I ordered 1 dozen of the little mini cupcakes and 5 balloons. When you go to check out on the website it shows it totaling $30.24 (including tax). So I thought well there must have been a mistake but no big deal. Called to check the next morning and nope, that is their delivery fee... I order things to be sent to people all the time and that delivery fee for a 2.5 mile drive is simply ridiculous in my opinion. Lesson learned. read more

During our trip to Baton Rouge, my daughters had their birthday. I wanted to get our family cupcakes to celebrate with in the hotel. I searched online and found Nothing Bundt Cakes. They looked so good we had to try them instead. The store was filled with cheery looking bundt cakes of all sizes - some adorned with flowers or cute paper decorations. I ordered personal sized cakes which are actually a lot for one person in one sitting (my kind of cake). The cakes were really good but I was expecting more of a homemade taste (is the best I can describe it). The staff greeted me when I walked in but they didn't seem that interested in their job. I actually think both employees were on their cell phones which always makes me feel like I'm interrupting something. While I cannot honestly say that bundt cakes have ever really been my thing, these babies are not your traditional bundts! I sampled a couple of these little guys while in the area and decided to leave with some of the smaller "bundtinis" so that I could try some different flavors. I gotta say, the flavors were pretty great, and they stay very moist for a while--especially if you store them in the fridge. My main complaint with your typical bundt cake has always been that they seemed kinda dry or boring to me, but these pack just the right amount of moisture and icing to make them pretty dang yummy. While I cannot say that they will take the place of cupcakes or soft cookies in my heart, they are a nice treat when looking for something different and tasty. I will be back, for sure, to try even more flavors whenever I get a chance. So far, the white chocolate macadamia and praline flavors were my faves--although the turtle and red velvet I tried in-store were pretty yummy, as well. read more

The cake is delicious but the workers are extremely rude. If I return to this location at all....it may be a year. I normally run in, buy a small cake for my husband and I to share and quickly run out. Today I was buying for my sons 6th birthday. I had my 2 year old with me, who was very well behaved. I was greeted when I came in. When asked if I needed anything I told them I needed a red velvet cake but I wasn't sure what size. I asked about the price of the 10" I could swear the worker said $21.00, then asked about the 8" and the worker quickly got short with me and said $20.00. I asked "so there's only a dollar deference between the 2 cakes? She was snotty and said no, it's $10 difference because the larger one is $31...I then asked if they still did the buy 3 get 1 free and she said "yes". Product is good but service leaves something to be desired. Space is cramped and although they will take you $27 for six mini bundts you can't have a second paper bag to separate them into because "it's Easter and we might run out." Very poor management. I have had many experiences with Nothing Bundt Cakes and I will say the cakes are phenomenal - always fresh, always moist and always delish! However, the service is absolutely HORRIBLE - I am not speaking of just one incident, I am speaking of many. The girls who work there are extremely rude. I will explain one incident in particular, they close at 6 and I was a matter of 2 minutes away so I called at 5:55 one day to ask if they could wait on me to get there if they were planning to lock the door before 6. She told me she could not do that because they have to lock the door at 6:00 for safety reasons. I love this place..I would give 5 stars for the cake itself, but NO stars for today phone service...because when I tried to call in a birthday cake. A lady named Kelly picked up phone ..first I was put on hold(that was fine) but..then when she came back to phone she was too busy to take call...then she said my phone was not clear. To call back when I got somewhere where my phone was clear and just hung up VERY RUDELY..NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. ..and she sound very agitated because it could have been busy. So I called back and asked her could she hear me because she just hung up in my face.
