The service was efficient. My strawberry cheesecake swirl selection was confirmed to be an excellent choice. I only purchased one to try and share. The flavor was very good. My initial thought was that it was really sweet, but the sweetness dissipated as I got further into my portion. From a flavor standpoint, the cake was reminiscent of a strawberry shortcake more than cheesecake. Perhaps, the cream cheese frosting was satisfying that part of the cake. Unbelievably disappointing experience. I have visited this location before and the staff has usually been friendly, which made this situation even more frustrating. They were advertising a buy one, get one free special, so before making the trip, I specifically called the store to confirm they were honoring the promotion. The employee I spoke with confirmed that they were. When I arrived just 15 minutes later, the young woman at the register told me I needed an email to receive the deal. I explained that I had just called ahead to verify the promotion, and no one mentioned that an email was required. I even showed her that I had the app, but she insisted that only an email would work. I explained again that the entire reason for my trip was because I had been told over the phone that the store would honor the buy one, get one free offer. She was dismissive, rude, and made no effort to resolve the issue or honor what I had been told. Because of this, we went out of our way for nothing, changed our lunch plans, and wasted time over a promotion they refused to stand behind. It was extremely unprofessional and poor customer service. Good to cure my craving for something sweet. I have been here before and the mini cakes are always good. It's located in a small shopping center. Not much parking available so you make have to park on the other side of the building if it's crowded. The staff there are always very helpful and friendly. They have a wide variety of flavors. Some are seasonal so they are only available for a limited time. I got the banana pudding cake. It was delicious. It had real banana pudding in top and in the center. Even had real vanilla wafers in it as well. Each cake is 7 dollars. It's a decent size for two polenta shredded but I finished it off all on my own. read more

I ordered through Doordash, on the pickup instructions, they specifically said to skip the line and show the staff the order detail, when I showed up and informed a staff who just finished helping a customer, she told me to wait in line, both of the working staff looked at me like I don't know what you are talking about, everyone waits in line they said. Didn't have an experience. Why? Because they have deceptive advertising. I live close enough that I could frequent nearby locations. I just learned about them today. And I learned they are deceptive with advertising. First, comments are turned off on tiktok. More than a little odd for a business that needs engagement. More to the point, however, is their "contest". If I supposedly "won" free cakes after clicking the tiktok ad, living very close to the Baltimore location, doing the survey, and picking the "correct" gift, why am I then asked to input my Mastercard number so I can be charged (at least) $13.77? No mention as to why. Not even a caveat saying it's for shipping or such. That's not free. I didn't win anything. Stopped by this adorable little bakery, I've been curious about this place for ages! So I tried a few different flavors. The carrot cake was honestly kind of disappointing? Like, where was the carrot flavor? I was expecting way more spice and that classic carrot cake taste but it was pretty bland. The red velvet was their bestseller apparently, but tbh it just tasted like vanilla cake with red food coloring. I kept waiting for some chocolate flavor but nope, just a few chocolate chips here and there. BUT the white chocolate raspberry was actually really good! Super light and fluffy, not too sweet which I appreciated. My only complaint is they were kinda stingy with the raspberries, would've loved more of that tart berry flavor to balance things out. All the frosting seemed to have cream cheese in it which gave it this tangy taste that was actually pretty nice. The staff was great though, super patient while I was deciding and really friendly. The place itself is bright and cute, and all the bundt cakes look so pretty lined up in their display case. Overall the texture was spot on, moist and fluffy like bundt cake should be. I also did you all a favor and search the website for questions concerning tree nuts. Long story short if you have nut allergies the cautious and or stay far away from this place! As far as service is concerned I went in at the perfect time. It wasn't busy. The displays were stocked and the customer service was decent. The atmosphere for it to be a small boutique was very cute, playful, and it keeps your eyes wondering and interested in what they offer. I ordered four individual bundt cakes in red velvet, strawberries and cream, lemon, and confetti. As of right now, red velvet is my favorite. First time visiting this location. I came in shortly after they opened on Saturday morning for an assortment of three dozen bundtinis for a get together at a friend's house on Sunday. Note they are closed on Sundays. It took about twenty minutes for them to put the frosting on. Staff are friendly and efficient as customers were in and out fairly quickly . Orders can be placed online and curbside pickup is also available. What is helpful is that each box has a flavor key that corresponds to the placement of each bundtini in the box. I tried the marble, carrot, and chocolate chocolate chip. The frosting was sweet, airy, and melted in my mouth, simply perfection. Although unhealthy, I could literally just eat the frosting by itself, that's how much I loved it. I liked the marble the best, it was delicious! My friends loved it, but said they aren't bite size, but more like regular cupcake size. It is smaller than a regular cupcake, but not by much. I think that two bundtinis would be adequate for the average person. My husband initially said he isn't a fan of bundt cakes, but gave it a try. He actually liked the marble and had two. I love NBC's bundtinis and bundtlets and have enjoyed ones from Silver Spring in previous years and more recently really loved the pumpkin spice seasonal bundtlet from Annapolis. I also enjoyed the friendly customer service at the Owings Mills location that supplied confetti & white chocolate raspberry variety cakes for a few special occasions we attended in recent months. I was excited to patronize Columbia's location when I was in the neighbor twice in recently, but they aren't very friendly here. It's almost as though I was bothering the woman at the counter when I visited and had a couple questions before selecting my purchased items and I was literally the only customer in the store. On the second visit, the lady at the counter was also king of rude and snappy with me, handling my cash payment as though I had cooties... As an alternative to dropping our change on the counter then glaring at us for customers that handed you cash to pick up, I would recommend this store have gloves for the employees to wear if covid or customer cooties are such a concern... or maybe a sign posted that says no cash payments and please don't ask me any questions because I find engaging customers annoying whether you're the only person here or not. Nothing Bundt Cakes just recently opened in Columbia and I decided to visit when they were having their grand opening celebration. When I arrived, there was a short line outside the door. The bakery itself was pretty small but they have a nice case full of treats for purchase. During this visit, I ended up getting the lemon and pumpkin spice cakes. They gave me a confetti cake for free since it was their grand opening celebration day. My favorite of the three cakes was the lemon. I felt like the pumpkin spice wasn't pumpkin-y enough and more spice than anything. The confetti cake is like a regular vanilla cake with sprinkles in the batter. It was good but I had to eat a little at a time because it felt like sugar overload. The lemon wasn't super sweet. One thing I love about these cakes is that they use my favorite icing: cream cheese. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also have a customer loyalty card. After a certain amount of purchases, you get a free cake. I'll definitely be back when I need a treat. read more
