I ordered "1" small cake and "12" cupcakes. I was charged for them to write Happy Birthday and sprinkles. My understanding the sprinkles were to be around the sides. The sprinkles were just around the HB and few at best. I asked for extra to be put on top since there were none around the sides. I have purchased before and the cakes were moist and delicious. "Something has happened!" The cake and cupcakes were either old or they have changed their recipe. The icing was delicious but the cake was dry and crumbly! We and especially I were disappointed! I love this location: friendly is the service, having great seasonal displays, and, spotless is its interior. The first NBC I received was as a gift. So lovely the mini was being presented on a pedestal and nicely cellophane wrapped. I've since stolen that idea. A variety of flavors available with their delicious and moist bundt cakes. Since there are many other bakery options, I have to laugh at how extremely inflexible this place is. I wanted the little mini Bundt cakes put on the cardboard platter (the ones the big cakes come on) and wrapped like the big Bundt cake. It was a really easy task. I was dumbfounded when they said they wouldn't do it. They kept saying that's not how the mini Bundt cakes come - they come in a box. Yes - but they COULD come on the cardboard platter, if you just set them on the platter. They said no - and they wouldn't sell me the cardboard platter to do it myself. I thought about just buying a big Bundt cake too, wrapped like I wanted the minis, then doing it myself, but thought it was just odd I'd have to do that. It was such an easy request, but I guess they have a policy against it. Weird to me since it would have been so easy. But Ok. I went somewhere else.
