Bundt cake in a movie scene ...the cake icing design looks familiar.

I was watching Downton Abbey:A New Era...and I saw a fleeting but memorable bundt cake on a cake platter during a wedding reception scene. So imagine my surprise, when I decided to visit the newly open location having never visited this franchise ever. Imagine my surprise to see bundt cakes iced in the same design as the movie!! They are charming and totally irresistible especially the cute bundtlets ($6.50 each). They are like a big muffin butt baked in a bundt mold. I took home the lemon bundtlet. My mom liked it so much, fluffy with a clear mildly tart lemon flavor. I went back the next day to try the pumpkin spice. Light and fluffy goodness. The icing is sweet, but happily the buntlet isn't swimming in frosting..its the perfect design, therefore the right amount of sweet. And you can brush it off if it's too much. I don't know if this is a classic design, but it was the same icing design as the movie...which is set in the late 1920s, 1930s. They can also do gluten free. And the 8 inch bundts serve 8 to 10. All the larger cakes have a charming fun flower confetti covering the hole in the middle. Comical pretty ... I don't believe they are eatable. So far I've tried two flavors...looking forward to trying the other flavors. Makes a cute and yummy takeaway party favor. Which is what I'm thinking to do next month for an 88th bday party. Helpful staff. Support this new small business tucked in a far corner near the CVS and Office Depot on Via Campo.

These little things are so good, they are addicting. They are a little expensive, but worth it. I had to buy a dozen of the minis, and of course I liked the specialty ones which bumped up the price. They were about $40, but worth it. I shared a couple of them. The carrot cake is my favorite. I can't wait to go back. The service was great, as this was my first time ( my sisters always bring them to the parties). The Montebello location is brand new and there is a new one in Whittier as well.

This place recently opened near CVS and the US Post Office. It is a small and clean store. Service was nice. I got the mini Bundt cakes with pumpkin spice and strawberries & cream flavors at $6.50 each. They were soft and tasty but very, very sweet with the white frosting. They also sell larger cakes. Other flavors include: chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry, carrot, confetti, cookies & cream, and chocolate chip cookie.

The ice cream is so yummy! I got the matcha and pure milk. My honey got the pineapple, but I…read moredidn't get to try his. The matcha w/ red bean taiyaki is good, but it doesn't need the extra flair, honestly. So tasty on its own. I'm not a huge ice cream fan, but this was really enjoyable. Service was quick too, if that is important to anybody. Definitely will come back!

I was excited to try this ice cream shop out since it's similar to Somi Somi, so I went with my…read morebrothers after we finished dinner. It's a small shop with a few tables, but luckily, we came at a time when it wasn't too crowded. We ordered the ube and matcha swirl as well as a taiyaki with cookie butter. The cashier was quick and friendly. Total came out to $9 which is pricey in my opinion, but I thought the taste would make up for it. Ube and matcha swirl: Honestly, the ice cream was just okay. I definitely could taste the ube flavor, but the matcha flavor was weak. Additionally, the ice cream was not creamy. It was slightly icey. Somisomi's ice cream is much creamier, so I was disappointed with With Love's quality. Taiyaki with cookie butter: I really liked their taiyaki! It was crispy and slightly sweet. The cookie butter was great, but I just wish there was more filling. I do think their taiyaki is better than Somisomi's! Overall, With Love was a nice place to try for the first time, but I don't think I'll be back. I still prefer Somisomi, especially since they are actually cheaper than With Love with better quality.

Found this place on Instagram, so we drove down from Pasadena...and it was well worth the drive…read more The store is super cute inside with a fun seating area. I wished we had arrived earlier to be able to enjoy more of the sold out offerings, but next time we'll arrive right when they open. We ordered a dozen crinkle cookies for a Mother's Day lunch - enjoying the sweet ube and the spiced thai tea versions. Both were great compliments to each other - more perfectly sweet and the other a bit more herbal. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - nice crunchy edges and slightly gooey soft inside. The ube tres leches was a little disappointing as there wasn't any tres leches cake at the bottom, just crumbly graham crackers resting below exquisite ube mousse. It could have been mislabeled, but it was essentially just ube mousse with crumbly graham crackers for texture. The staff were friendly and the store is so fun!

Finally had a chance to try this place service was great…read moreand staff was very helpfully Place was kept clean they had a variety of different desserts and drinks I got the ube tres leche and ube blondie brownie They were both good but the ube brownie was my favorite! I'm Mexican so the l tres leches was a little dry to my liking and lacked the ube flavor in my opinion I will return to try the other treats they have So if you're in the montebello area and haven't been here definitely give them a try I got a latte as well and it was well made
