This location is outstanding. I shopped here on Wednesday 2/12/25.....The hostess/ rep was very welcoming. I was shopping for two of my co-workers. I bought an 8 inch red velvet with a Gardena as decor, and I bought a plain vanilla cake with a rose decor. I ordered a signature assortment as well. My total was like $110. The person who took my order said that she would bring it to my car. She placed 2 items in a nice free tote bag & one item was placed in a shopping bag. I placed an online order the afternoon prior for two dozen bundtinis, the tiny hats and a Happy birthday flag. Due to COVID the bakery itself is closed for visitors. Their policy is for the customer to call and then one of the reps will place the order on a small table outside the entrance, which allows the customer to pickup the order and place it in their vehicle. The hat toppers were wrapped in a small plastic bag and then placed in a small paper bag. The flag was in it's own tiny plastic bag. Both plastic bags were in the small paper bag. No issues with my order. Linda answered the call, confirmed who I was, and placed the order on the table. I moved the order to my car and drove off. The parking lot was a little worrying to me because of where it's located (on a corner) but it was about 1230pm on a week day with little traffic in the area. After a little assembling, we successfully surprised the Birthday girl and all of us enjoyed the moist bundtinis. Prices were reasonable. I'll place another order. read more

Let me start by saying that I'm totally addicted. I have passed this place a hundred times over the years and never stopped. I was convinced by a cousin of mine to try it out. I loved everything about the sample cakes, however, I was not aware the cakes in the dome were cold. So my experience was mixed as to what I had just tasted. This cold cake was nothing like what I had just experienced. So I went home with the cake in bag sitting on the driver seat waiting to throw it out and I was upset. So I get home and right before I throw it out, I take a bite of the cake and it had warmed up and was just as good. So if you don't like cold cakes just let it sit and all those flavors will marinate into awesomeness. Oh and the uptown location has the best cakes. read more

I know, five stars right? Holey moley. Last year I was in desperate need of sparklers to fulfill a 30-something's birthday wish. I discovered mini sparklers at the ever-so-punny Nothing Bundt Cakes on Vets, and while they are literally 5 seconds of pure joy and mildly dangerous, these itty bitty sparklers totally fit the bill. This year, I was in need of said sparklers again, and while I didn't have time to whip up a sick batch of red velvet cupcakes, I thought I'd pick one of those up too. Lo and behold, they've opened another adorable location Uptown and it's so. dang. cute. But five stars is a tall order, right? Indeed it is. Parking. A cinch. Granted it wasn't Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory on Golden Ticket day, but still...it's lovely to easily find a parking spot when you're in a hurry. You walk in and are literally slapped in the face with how cute this place is. I believe it's smaller than the Metairie location but still totes adorbs. While the name alludes to Nothing "Bundt" Cakes, they also carry an array of delight including cards, candles, and clutch items for said surprises and/or special occasions. I was in a rush so I couldn't ooh and aah, quickly asking the young lady at the counter if they stocked the sparklers. Not only did they have the sparklers in gold and silver (not sure if the glow is actually any different, just an FYI) but they also had the small and larger sparkler numbers for added pizzazz. The sparklers run a bit pricey, alas, if buddy wants sparklers, buddy gets sparklers. I also scooped up a red velvet Bundlet for an easy $4 (priced perfectly). "Ana (speaking directly to the young lady at the counter at this point), you are the icing on the bundlet." Not only was she knowledgeable about the stock per the paragraph above, but she quickly checked me out and threw in some plastic cutlery and matches as she sensed Miss Cleo-style I was in a rush and that said friend may want to go HAM on that Bundlet. So if you're in a rush (or not), this is a great spot to pick up something sweet for a friend...or treat yo'self! p.s. I do noooooot advise attempting to light the sparklers and do a boomerang vid on your own per my friend's multiple blisters and sad burnt match pile that I received a picture of in the last hour. It takes two people to light sparklers and capture the moment, maybe a third with some emergency water handy. Just sayin'. But still suuuuper cool and totally worth it. read more

It's a family-run franchise, I think and the location uptown is great! All the staff have been lovely to me and they often participate in local events such as Art for Arts Sake or the Scales and Ales event at the aquarium. I do believe I've tried them all, including the seasonal spiced flavors. This is not my "go to" cake option but I'm sure it will sooth the sweet tooth. Curbside pick up yesterday was a disaster. They had traffic backed up the street waiting for pick up. People were closely gathered at the door trying to get information as to what was going on. Normally, I would give business a break due to the covid pandemic. However, they were only doing pre order pick ups only. They weren't selling on the spot. They knew that they would have a ton of orders because of the pre orders. They were understaffed with pick up and cake preparation.
