They also have cards, candles, small gift ideas, anything you would need last minute. The staff is kind and inviting and you never have to wait too long. I paid for street parking right in front of the store. It's a small location but they offer everything from cakes, decorations, candles, etc. Staff was friendly and efficient. Paid street parking can be a hit or a miss. I downloaded the Passport parking app and this helps with paying for parking around Pasadena. I stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes to try their limited-time New-Fashioned Marble. With only a few weeks left before it's discontinued, I knew I had to get in a taste test! For starters, parking here is fairly easy either on the street or across the street in the Pavilions parking lot. They have so many yummy cakes on display; the carrot // strawberries and cream also caught my attention. Service was as sweet as their cakes. Ok, I will say I love their cakes. Today though, I was completely turned off by them. One, they are in no way inexpensive. I walked in with my daughter today at 6:02pm. Mind you, the open sign is still on shinning bright. Two steps in the door, one worker is closing out register and the other is selling Bundt Cakes. I was told, sorry we are closed, can't help you. I tried to placed an online order an hour before closing and unfortunately right when I was gonna place the order it no longer let me, so I called and tried to placed it over the phone to make it easier for them and she said I had to come in store so I said fine I'll be there, I come in and says I can't put in an order for a cake. That they didn't have the cake, which I knew she was lying because it gave me the option for that cake online, it didn't say it was out of stock. And said I could only choose from whatever they had left overs. It was my first time coming to this location but will definitely never come in again with terrible customer experience. The cake is yummy but the wait time is horrendous! I got there around 4ish and I thought wow one customer being helped and two sales people I can get out quickly. NOPE I got a classic vanilla cake and I had to wait 25 minutes while watching everyone come in and out. Key is get what is already boxes or order on line and pick up. I felt like how hard it is to box a cake with no decoration. I asked is it frozen when I was waiting and no customers were in there they told me no I just had to wait (patiently imo). This is why I gave it 3 stars it is expensive since I spent 60.00 and had to wait for 4 mini Bundt cakes which they bagged right away but I had to wait for the cake wow. The staff was really nice but that didn't help me when I stood there for some time. Order online if you can I would have but I wanted to see if they had class vanilla in the bundtini so I went in. That was a mistake . The ordering on line did not give me an option to choose my own flavors or ask if they had classic vanilla in the bundtini size. I found out when I got there that it is not available and it is getting phaseout the flavor. I asked when is this going to happen they staff didn't know exactly when. I have gone on line and purchased the cakes ahead of time and was able to get in and out but this time because I was a walk in customer I had to wait an addition a30 minutes after my transaction was completed for a cake they didn't have to decorate. Went in to get cupcakes for a birthday party. Waited in line, then passed over while the second employee Emily acted busy. As soon as someone else came in, Emily attended to that person. I asked the other employee helping a customer if I wasn't standing in line. Emily came out with an excuse that she was in the back and thought I was with the other customer? Why would I be with a stranger? Why would she not ask to confirm if this was her assumption? In short I'll be going to a different location in the future. Emily has horrible customer service and is combative. She had to get the last word and said I was disrespectful for calling to her attention her lack of customer service instead of taking accountability for her mistake. There is a separate line for pickup orders to minimize the time you spend in the shop and prevent a line from forming. The staff is always welcoming and eager to assist. They seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs, which is a bonus. Bummed that they no longer offer punch cards. However, they will still allow you to redeem any rewards associated to your existing punch cards. Not that the lack of a punch card would stop me from ordering again. FOOD: I haven't had Nothing Bundt Cakes for over two years, but they are just as good as I remembered! - I got four Bundlets ($6/each) to share in the flavors Red Velvet, Carrot, Snickerdoodle, and Strawberries & Cream. The mildest flavor was Snickerdoodle which had a light cinnamon sugar coating. It definitely resembled the classic cookie well. - Red Velvet was unique because it had chocolate chips sprinkled in the fluffy cake! Initially I thought that would make it too sweet, but I'm pretty sure the chips were semi-sweet so it wasn't overpowering. - I love a good Carrot cake, and this one was didn't disappoint. The carrot pieces were sizable and the cake was so moist without being dense. Definitely my favorite flavor. - Strawberries & Cream was the sweetest flavor of what we tried, but not in a way where I didn't want to eat it. It was so fragrant when I opened the box, the strawberry filling scent filled the air. - If I'm not mistaken, all of the frosting is the same on the bundt cakes. Although the cakes themselves aren't that sweet, the icing is overly sweet and overpowers the cake. I ended up scraping off a decent amount of the frosting because you can't taste the cake flavors with so much icing. SERVICE/AMBIANCE: There wasn't anyone in the store when I went on a Friday around 1 PM, but a few people came in as I was leaving. The cakes are already made and in the fridge, so I refrigerated it right when I got home. My encounter with the staff was just okay; she helped me with my questions, but had an overall dismissive attitude. Also, my cakes were just put messily in the bag sideways, so the frosting got stuck to the container top and I rearranged it in the car. Parking is off-street parking and I think there's a small lot on the street. OVERALL: I really enjoy the cakes here, but think that the frosting is way too sweet. You definitely need to scrap some off unless you have a high sugar tolerance. The cakes are fluffy and moist, even after being in the refrigerator. Although it's larger than a cupcake, I feel like $6 is a tad bit pricey in comparison to what it was when I last had it. They rotate in seasonal flavors, so I will come by again soon to get the Reese's one! read more

I've been meaning to try this location, as it's closest to me, but now, wanted to see the inside. These stores are so clean and inviting, I find it a pleasure to shop for special occasions. This time of year, the strawberry bundt cake is in season, and is my daughter's favorite flavor. These cakes go great with coffee or milk, depending on your tastes. For me, I enjoy eating a slice while watching television or enjoying during a special occasion.
