Prices higher than most 31 flavors. When picking up a cake order I noticed that the Writing on cake bled out. The manager waited for me to say something even though she looked at it. She stated after the fact that if you select the red or black writing it will run/bleed . I asked if she let the customer know ahead of time and she responded "no". When I asked her not to fix the cake as there wasn't time to do it, she ignored me several times. She just refused to give me the cake until she picked off the frozen writing and re piped it. The problem with that (as any cake decorator would know )is that if you do not re coat the white frosting base, then the bleed color remains and that is precisely what happened. A cake decorator would've caught that before trying to hand it off. It's customary for 31 flavors to open the box and show you the cake. She waited until I spoke up to explain the bleeding of the cake. I don't know about you, but I appreciate anyone in the food industry that brings something to you and realizes before you do that it isn't right and sorts it out. Anyways. With so many options now a days, we rarely go to BR anymore. But spending a day w my dad we had a craving for the nostalgia of when I was a little girl and he'd take us out for sundaes. I was so incredibly disappointed when both he and I felt undeserved. My banana Royale had more banana than ice cream and my dad's 3 scoop sundae still made the cup look oversized and it barely looked like a sundae. We took our sundaes to go, so we didn't realize how sad they were until we got home so I called to let the staff know. The young man was very nice and apologetic and informed us the young lady that served us was new and was still getting serving sizes down. I let him know that the call was to inform them so they can s avoid doing that to another customer. Incompetent rude staff got my birthday cake order all wrong and tried to blame it on me. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with their employee discussing the design of the cake. They claimed they wrote it all down. When we took our cake to the party, we were horrified to open the box and find the sloppiest writing, the ugliest color flowers, and to top it off it was uneven and the wrong ice cream flavor also! I was mortified. I wish we had checked before we took it home but we were running late. Though I should have checked it, it was completely their fault for getting almost every detail wrong and poorly executing everything. I could've made the cake myself for a lot less money! No refund was give, not even from corporate. They only offered me a gift card after a month of fighting about what happened.
