Just a few things to consider before going to this nothing Bundt cake on ray road . This is the first time I've use this location mind you I'm in corporate sales and by frequently cupcakes to deliver on a weekly basis to my clients. I usually go to the location on Gilbert and I figured I would've been treated with the same respect however $130 later in cupcakes to my clients, the sales associate tells me that she is not at liberty to give me two bags to carry out my cupcakes, so I have to hand carry all five dozens of my cupcakes I offered to buy an additional bag she said she's not at liberty, because Omar said they are only supposed to give away one bag per client, regardless of how much money they spend at the location I will never ever go to this location ever ever ever again I will take my business somewhere else as it came down to they would not give me an additional bag to carry out five dozens of cupcakes I had to hand carry them. I just love this place. Today I tried their red velvet cake. Their cakes are always soooo moist and delicious. Since we were in the area, my husband and I decided to stop here and indulge in their yummy cakes. He ordered the Pecan Praline and he loved it too! We really love the fact that they have free sample to try all the time. They are like bites from heaven. Always fresh, always moist, always delicious. Besides the regular cake size cakes (mostly for birthdays and events), they have personal size cakes - Bundtlets and little ones which are about bite size called Bundtinis. The Bundtinis should be ordered in advance and in dozens. They are so cute for an event where cupcakes are suitable. I may try them for something like that next time. I hope someday they will consider opening a branch in Mesa coz I never get to enjoy their cakes unless I'm in Scottsdale or Ahwatukee! I have heard about the fabulous bundtlet cakes and with a birthday celebration last week, figured it was the perfect time to try them! I walked in and there were two ladies ahead of me ordering their cake. The nice man behind the counter welcomed me and offered samples of the red velvet cake, to which I replied "oh no." That was "oh no" as in "I wish you hadn't told me." Not as in "No, thank you." =) As I sprinted (okay, stepped) over to get my sample, I could tell by the confused looks that they all misunderstood my reply. We all had a quick chuckle. The guy was very nice, however a few people walked in behind me and I could tell he wanted to get me on my way, I almost felt rushed . . . not quite, but almost. I didn't expect a steady stream of people on a Wednesday afternoon. After a few minutes of debating, I ended up with the Chocolate Chocolate Chip and the Pecan Praline. I've been to this location 3 separate times now, and I'm disappointed in their lack of customer service. They are less than accommodating and don't seem to have the customers needs in mind. I've visited once prior to covid and visited twice during the covid outbreak, and one of the times I entered the store, the girls up front were not wearing masks and reluctantly put them on once I walked in. Not sure if this is approved by the store or not, but I am uncomfortable knowing that they are handling food items without proper PPE. Today's visit was my last thanks to Tori up front who very rudely cut me off before I got the chance to finish asking for extra frosting on one of my bundlettes. I began to ask "would it be possible to get extra frosting in one of the containers-" which is displayed clearly in the show room case as costing an extra .50 cents, when she cut me off and said that she "wasn't able to do that unfortunately." Not sure why not since it is clearly displayed as an option for an extra charge. Love the cakes but they need to hire more friendly and personable associates, not bratty teens. ***update*** Looks like I'm not the first to leave a review regarding the HUGE issue of their associates NOT wearing masks while handling food, or the lack of friendliness- do not come here if you're looking to stay safe, or looking for customer service. read more

I decided to order a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for my husbands birthday. The ordering process was super easy, I just went to the website & filled out a short ordering form which listed out all the flavors, sizes, prices, etc.. I like fact that you can add a personalized message to it as well. When you fill out the form, you choose a time slot for pickup, so I went yesterday to pick it up. Upon entering the location, everything was super easy & seamless. I just walked up to the front counter, they asked for my name & grabbed my order & thats all!! She also mentioned for best taste, let it sit out for about 2hrs prior to serving. The cake-- AMAZING!! I was actually skeptical that it wouldnt taste as good as when I had it fresh before, but that was not the case. I ordered the Red Velvet which has chocolate chips/chunks, but not an overwhelming amount. The cream cheese frosting is to die for! It looks really thick (which Im not the biggest fan of frosting, I usually pick it off because its thick & sugary) but NBC's is light & super cream cheese-y. The cake was light & moist, with the perfect sponge-y texture. I would definitely reccommend them/use them again. read more

OH WOW I haven't written about this place yet?? CRAZY! Let me just say first and foremost. Their Cakes are Delicious/Decadent Rich and Moist and Packing Flavor!!! (depending on which flavors i should say though) For example my personal favorites would have to be their white white chocolate, Red velvet being my ultimate favorite, and their seasonal flavors in the fall. Do not go anywhere else for red velvet. Every time i crave it and don't feel like baking it myself i just run to this same location and buy a little personal bundt size for about $3-4 or so. It is addicting, I have tried red velvet from other bakeries such as Frys, Bashas, Safeway etc etc and no one nearly comes close. As far as service go its hit or miss, I am in and out fast so i don't take time to really pay attention to their attitude but its never bad enough for me to knock them for it this time. But that's doing a lot to get me to that point. You can read my other reviews for places that have severely poor service in the east valley and its pretty minimal i would say. Price wise for larger cakes is a little steep and i say this because if i wanted to replicate the cakes i can do it if i really wanted too its way too easy for me. I have never bought a size larger than the personal size just because they are asking for way to much when i can make the same cake if not better for half the price. ;] read more

Love the cakes but on the day before xmas eve I needed by cake and was running late. I called ahead to ask if I could be 5 mins late and was told, "we're exhausted". They also said they would not stay open even 1 min late. I know it was just a request and it didn't have to be honored, but it xmas. The employees should understand this is a busy time of year. If you like getting your ass chewed out because the owner Robert has no customer service skills this is the place for you. I ordered a cake for pick -up on my wife's Birthday. I ordered it on Monday for pick upon Wednesday. it was not ready. It was busy so the counter person had me wait, no problem they brought it out and all was good. Evidently I did not do something correctly on line as their online ordering is tricky and the pick up date online was the same day. None-the less I had my cake and was happy. until I got home and had a foul voicemail message from the owner Rocky. I tried to return the call but no answer. The next day i received an email about how it was all my fault I should have had to pay for another cake and a continuous stream of he was right and I was wrong. Ok maybe I did goof. I had similar experiences as Regina W - four times and I finally figured it out - we were wearing masks. The two older people were rude every time we came in , they were kind to others . They rushed us while frowning, I said thank you at the end of the purchase they said nothing . We asked if they offered samples the woman said " you can taste your cake at home ." This is unacceptable treatment and is not going unnoticed . We love the cakes and the location ( close to our home ) but we will not be disrespected, will not be going back . All the other employees have been delightful I can only imagine how awful it must be to work there though with the rude people . You know what's sad is that this place is run ( owned ?) by rude people and it's gone on for years why would the parents company continue to tolerate this poor behavior ? read more
