Well, I am thankful I received my daughter's birthday cake. I was going to be 5 mins late to pick up after 6 pm on St. patty's day. The person who was on the phone was very nice and advocating on my behalf to her manager. Then the manager gets on and says, "We will never do this for you again this is unprofessional and if we keep our doors open we will never close." I responded thank you. When I got there 5 mins after 6, they handed me the cake thru the door not even looking at me or acknowledging my thank you's. My husband and I got our wedding cake from our local Nothing Bundt Cakes in DE last year, and decided while traveling on our anniversary to get a bubdlet in our wedding cake flavor (white chocolate raspberry) and to try the new Churro Dulce Leche flavor as well. The taste is definitely consistent with other locations which is great because they are delicious. The WCR flavor was amazing as always! My husband really enjoyed the CDL flavor as well, though it had a bit too much of the super sweet filling for me. Overall I highly recommend this place. I paid $150 for both my wedding cake and my daughters birthday cake in the past and those cakes were good, but seriously Nothing Bundt is the best and can be decorated to fit any occasion. TIP: 1 thing - if you are attending special event, you have to be specific with your order - because otherwise it will be covered well and then when you go to set the cake up it will take off the icing, which is messy and a bummer. We definitely made a mistake by stopping at this location. We love nothing Bundt cakes and typically stop at the Gilbert location. We stopped in to this location today to order a dozen assorted Bundt Tinis. We were told if we wanted to pick our own assortment it would take an hour and a half. We passed on that and picked one of the two they had pre packaged. Okay no big deal not exactly what we wanted but we can deal. Then we eat them and they're practically frozen... didn't have that wonderfully fresh moist taste at all. We also ordered one separate Bundtlet for my daughter. I placed an online order, and paid via Applepay. The email confirmation did not indicate an ID was necessary upon pick up. I went in and the employee asked for an ID. I informed her I did not have it with me, that I had left it in the car, as I had already paid for it. She said "a picture of your ID is fine, do you have one?". I briefly scrolled looking for and ID picture in my phone, then asked if the email confirmation was fine instead, she refused and said I needed my ID. I explained the ID was not indicated in the email, and she said "that is corporate, we are a franchise. There is a sign on our door". When I walked in, an employee was holding the door, and I was not going back to my car for my ID, as I paid. I requested a refund, she very rudely said "fine, I don't know when you will get it back though". I said, "thats fine. Thank you have a nice day", and she did not respond. I had placed an online order for another store, prior to stopping by Nothing Bundt, and they indicated an ID was required, so I brought it. If it would have been stated in the email, I would have brought it inside, no questions asked. However the way this older lady treated me, made me not want to go back to my car for the ID.I will not be returning, and giving this location my money.
