They sell their cakes in varying sizes from a big family size one down to tiny little two bite size. We went for the middle of the road medium cakes and got four flavors to try. They're all really cute to look at but for me that's where it ends. I found the texture of the cake to be very reminiscent of packaged snack cakes, a la hostess. The frosting to cake ratio was skimpy in my opinion and the flavors all had an artificial aftertaste that turned me off. I regret not taking pictures, but this rather large order got us out for under $20, so I consider that decent. If I have one critique, it's that the plastic containers gives it an impression of cheap quality. That's nit picking, but if you're going for the boutique presentation then it should be all in with some fancy boxing as well. As for the flavor, I really enjoyed these cakes! I was impressed and liked them more than I thought I would. The frostings were sweet and I thought complimented each cake's flavor well. The cakes were light, not dense, and not at all dry. That's right, I'm saying these cakes were MOIST!!! My wife thought they were a little too sweet for her taste, but I classically have a sweet tooth so they were perfect to me. If I had to pick a favorite to recommend, it would probably be the white chocolate raspberry. My top ones were probably the lemon, marble, and pumpkin spice. We went home with a lemon and a pumpkin spice. The pumpkin spice kind of blew them all out of the water. You can't beat the moistness you get in the cake from the pumpkin. The store is pretty! You can tell they are part of a franchise due to how put together everything was. The little bundtlets were $4.25 a piece and then if you were going to a party or had a special occasion they have big bundt cakes in the case or you can special order them. I ordered the little bundt cakes to take to a birthday lunch. These only come in groups of 12 which was not an issue but I only needed 6 for the birthday lunch. When picking them up, I asked if the order could somehow be divided into two boxes. I offered to pay for an extra box when I made the request at the counter. The nice lady at the check out told me she would have to ask. I was not sure if she was new or ?? She came from the back area of the store with another lady that i am guessing is the manager. She told me NO. I repeated my request to the lady hoping she did not understand that I just wanted a box or some type container to put half of the order into since they would ultimately be going to two locations. She repeated, NO adding that they do not make it a practice to give or sale extra boxes. I was a little shocked and surprised with this response. I dont consider this very good customer service. Sorry to have to say, I will not be going back -- no matter how good the little bundt cakes taste.
