Where to start!?…read more Well, first of all, this review is far overdue. I had the most beautiful wedding on December 28, 2019. I hired Stephanie and A Daydream Wedding about three months prior to my wedding date. Initially, I thought I would be able to organize the perfect wedding all on my own. I quickly learned that I am not cut out for that and I would need some assistance. I was worried that it was too close to the wedding to hire a planner, at that point. But, I went ahead and emailed ADW and Stephanie PROMPTLY replied to my inquiry. I was communicating with a couple of planners simultaneously so figure out who I felt would be the best match and Stephanie stood out among the rest EXPONENTIALLY! She was so comfortable and easy to talk to right off the bat. She was quick with her responses, and I really felt that it was important to Stephanie to get to know ME and what my personal preferences were. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the services were tailored to me, and I wasn't being served based on some generic template. Everything about Stephanie's services felt so personalized. Let me also mention that I am in remission from leukemia, and I had recently had a bone marrow transplant. So my energy is quite low and my memory is nowhere near "good." Stephanie was so patient with me throughout our time together. She was kind in reminding me of dates and keeping me on track with scheduling, which is SO helpful for someone like me. It was important for me to work with someone understanding and patient, and I found that in Stephanie. Stephanie constantly reassured me that we would be able to work with the time given and she worked extremely hard to find me the best vendors that fit my specific needs and most importantly - BUDGET! Throughout the course of our work together, Stephanie would keep her eye out for decor, desserts, vendors, bridesmaids dresses etc. that would be of interest to me and would text / email suggestions regularly. Even if you have no idea where to start (with anything), Stephanie has a full arsenal of beauticians, DJ's (SHOUT OUT TO DJ BERNIE!), photographers, bakeries, decor rentals... the list goes on! She is well equipped and a true professional in her craft. The day of the wedding, Stephanie was sure to make sure I was thoroughly taken care of. She checked on me throughout the day to ensure all my needs were tended to, she picked up on queues (for instance, she noticed the guests were hounding the head table and had the DJ make a little announcement so my new husband and I could sit to enjoy dinner), and she kept everyone and everything on schedule to the minute! I feel like I can't rave about Stephanie enough. But, hopefully these pictures will help give a clear picture of her hard work and dedication to wedding planning. If you have a dream to create the perfect wedding, whether it be modern, romantic, boho, etc., Stephanie is going to be your secret weapon. I cannot recommend her enough!

I was really excited to come in and look at wedding bands since my fiancé had my engagement ring…read moreset here and previously had a great experience. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and honestly confusing. I came in with my newborn son and my mom, and after waiting a few minutes without being acknowledged we walked up to the front desk to ask for help. A staff member assisted us and showed a few bands. When I found one I liked, I asked if it could be made in yellow gold. She said she would check with the vendor and offered to clean my engagement ring so I could look at the bands with my clean ring. After a few minutes, she returned with my ring, and when I asked to try on another band, she told us she was now helping someone else and couldn't assist us further.This was surprising since she had been helping us the entire time up to that point. I was ready to move forward with purchasing a ring but never received an answer about pricing and was told no when I asked to see another option. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Messaging was via instagram however, not email. That would be my one constructive criticism so it is easy to track and follow since instagram started deleting messages randomly. Overall however the flower were GORGEOUS and they did everything I imagined and more.

Between the sunset and the vineyard in the background, it's amazing! I can't tell you how many of my guests changed their profile picture on Facebook to a picture they took at David Girard with the vineyard in the background. The other reason I give this review 5 starts is because Keri, Diana, and Darci are AMAZING! They listened to every request of ours and they more than accommodated everything. From the first meeting, to the weekly phone calls I made with questions, to the day of the wedding they were beyond helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through the stressful process of planning a wedding. We knew we wanted a venue that included most things (ceremony and reception site, day of coordinating, catering, DJ, etc.). David Girard provided all of that! The food was such a hit! We chose the buffet and everyone loved it. The DJ (Steve) was awesome, the girls (Keri, Diana, and Darci) couldn't have been a better fit for us, and like I said before, the venue itself is just breathtaking. We booked this venue about 1.5 years before our wedding date. They provided timelines and suggestions on what to do to prepare for your wedding. Then reminded you when you had appointments coming up and were flexible if you were running slightly late. They had tons of options to make the wedding personalized for you, from the food to the decorations and even the timeline. I told them that I did not want to be stressed out at my wedding, I had heard horror stories about brides not enjoying their wedding because of this or that. Liz did a fantastic job of wrangling all the wedding party together, organizing the first looks, putting someone in charge to make sure we got some of the food we purchased. I threw last minute add-ons like drone pictures and a remote control car with a 2 yr old in it at her and she handled as the pro she is. We used the recommended flower shop (Camino Flower shop) to provide the flowers. She is such a fun lady to work with. I'm not a person who usually can express exactly what I want, but she read between the lines and created a truely unique bouquet with the blue orchids (did you know there was such a thing?). We also used Cocomont (not included the wedgewood package) to help us with our decoration. This included a elegant rustic wooden panel and huge drapes to go high into the beams. It really added the personal touch we were looking for. Frank's Bakery from Cameron Park was the vendor for our desserts. He made the most delicious lemon bars and cupcakes. Then Grant DJ was our MC, who kept the party going till it was time to turn-off the lights. We were dancing all night long, with no lulls in the music. Overall this is a romantic, elegant, and beautiful venue run by a management who are truely the professionals at what they do. I was able to actually enjoy my wedding and not worry about whether we were on time. This is something you won't hear many brides say, just ask your friends.
