Fast & efficient, got my food in 15min. Ordered sausage & rigatoni alla vodka - disgusting. There was about 8 rigatoni's mixed into 2 cups of sauce. The taste and texture of the sauce was awful. Almost like the kale in it wasn't massaged and there was nothing vodka-y about this sauce! Do not get this dish! Pizza was okay. Lava cake was FROZEN! So disappointed. I love Italian food and I love seafood. Novara delivers both from the comfort of their enormous venue on Adams Street in Milton. You walk inside and think, "I'm not in Milton anymore," which can be a breath of fresh air. Love the space and the service is always friendly and quick. There is limited public parking for the restaurant at their private lot accessed from Church Street (gotta go around the block). Otherwise, I recommend, particularly on a warmer evening, to park along the new parking spots around the highway park and take a walk. My favorite thing is the patio. It's tucked away from the road and seats quite a number of families. Grabbing a glass of wine or special cocktail while relaxing here a good feeling. Speaking of special cocktails, the muddled strawberry one with bits of basil was YUM. I enjoyed the feels and the portions are typically HUGE, so the high prices are justified. I have great things to say about Novara, but my 3-star rating comes from but one very sad meal on a Monday night. Clam linguine was on special and I was really looking forward to a gorgeous wine sauce with plenty of garlic and clams and pasta. When the meal came out, it appeared far smaller than typical portions and had but 6 clams atop. The thick, yellow-ish sauce appeared to have bits of celery and carrot in it. Now, I'm a mom and I love being creative with leftovers, but at the sight of re-used chicken noodle soup in my clam linguine at Novara I was left in shock. The roasted broccoli was also terrible; overblackened and chewy... hardly edible. Even the kids pasta was extra bad... cafeteria style overcooked and even sitting in water and not seasoned. Also, as a mom and being a bit tired from a monstrous Monday, I did not have the wherewithal to complain. It's not my M.O. But to complain on Yelp, sure. It will be my self-reminder to never allow a meal like this be served to me again at this restaurant. So disappointed. read more

I don't want you to know about this place because I want it all to myself. Always an amazing time. The food is top notch, something you expect from a downtown Michelin star restaurant. The food is fresh and amazingly looks and tastes homemade for you individually. I crave the pasta all the time! In the summer we sat on the upper patio and loved it. The food is great, but unfortunately the take out service is poor. I've placed 3 take out orders for a Caesar salad with blackened salmon, and specifically put in the comments EXTRA DRESSING. Every single time I've picked up, no extra dressing. The last time one of the managers told me there might be a language barrier (ummmm all 3 incidents?!?) and to put "2 dressing" instead. This place is like a hidden gem! It looks so small from outside but it's really good. It's good for big groups, for just go and sit at the bar and for private events; and they have a patio! I love our server today. He was very attentive, gave us some suggestions and wasn't rushing us. The prices are normal and the food is very tasty. The presentation of the plates were neat as well. This place has a parking lot but you can find parking on the street as well. I loved the ambiance, decor, vibe... it's so lighted! First visit here and I'm happy we finally have a hot spot within walking distance from my place. Abby Park just never did it for me. Stopped in and was shocked to see the entire town of Milton in this one place. Every single bar seat and table was filled to the max. Pretty hard to do on a weekday night in such a large space and in the burbs no less. COCKTAILS The bar area here is very nice and the cocktails they whipped up were equally superior. Nice pour, super chilled and mixed just perfectly. 5/5 PIZZA I sampled the margarita pizza and some fries as late night bites. Both were "okay" but nothing to write home about. Pizza crust was kind of dry and the fries seemed like they could've used a bit more pizazz, maybe some truffle or Parmesan and rosemary...just something more. 3/5 Overall, 3.5 stars upped to 4 because of the decor and great service. I love this place for drinks. Pizza needs work but I'm hoping to find some of their other substantive entrees on their menu worthwhile on my future jaunts here. read more

It was a crowded, busy Saturday night but the host kept us informed and kept everyone smiling. The only reservation we could get was for outside. It got really cold and we asked if they had something available inside. We had to wait a bit but we're able to be seated inside. The service was great and the food, our second time there, was just as delicious as we remembered it to be. Highly recommend for a fun atmosphere and a delicious meal! Novara has to go down as one of THE best restaurants around and located in East Milton. Today my wife and I enjoyed restaurant week 3 course menu in which I started with calamari that was so tender. Followed up with Cod Florentine, spinach and fingerling potatoes. Topped it off with caramel gelato with a mini biscotti. All for just 27.00 and plenty of food. Novara is the runner up for bomb.com 2020. This place is an absolute gem, located right in the center of east Milton. Ask any local and they'll probably tell you they eat here 1-2 times a month. At least that's what the 3 locals I know said when I mentioned I came here. I also got a run down of the history of Novara and learned the building is an old theater..that explains the massive screen that sits right in the center of the restaurant and plays old classic film clips. I tried Novara with my fam for lunch. When we arrived we immediately noticed the unique aesthetic; they have film cover art on the walls of the entryway. The next thing we noticed is how safe the place was. There are barriers between every other bar stool and the tables are distanced and have barriers between them in some spots. The menu has a good mix of northern Italian pastas and pizza mixed with some American fare. We tried the lemon Rosemary chicken wings as an appetizer and for entrees I ordered seafood scampi and my wife got a chicken sandwich w/ truffle fries. The chicken sandwich was the size of her torso and was delicious. My seafood scampi was really good too. The lemon Rosemary chicken wings were next level. I thought lemon Rosemary was an interesting flavor mix for wings but boy did they get it right with that combination. We also got a margherita pizza for the road since we'd heard so much about their pizza. We had the pizza for dinner and it was bomb.com even after reheating it. Keep up the good work Novara. I'm very surprised that they received anything less than 4 star reviews. The food is delicious. They have fantastic lunch menus and deals. The service is perfect. Food comes out in record times and has always been delicious and exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is unparalleled by any other establishment in this area. If you want a casual night with the gals, it's perfect. It you want a cool sophisticated date night, it's perfect. If you want to have a business meal, it's perfect. If you want to bring kids, it could be better I guess, but who needs them, haha. The only downside I can see is that the prices are pretty high but I truly believe you get what you pay for. Been to Novara a few times before covid. Always love their high ceilings dinning area and their outdoor patio is amazing! Last night outdoor dinner at Novara was very enjoyable, great atmosphere. Food and ingredients are always fresh at Novara, good selections of wine by glass or bottles. Great staff, they hired the right people; hosts and waitresses are always very friendly here. Staff whom brought food to our table are very polite and carry good measures of hygiene. All staffs and customers whom walked around in this restaurant wear masks, tables are truly distanced well. Outdoor patio is filled with many heat lamps. Utensils are cleaned and wrapped inside table cloth/napkins. Heather was our waitress, she was very attentive and professional. Jason, the manager, is friendly and gives great hospitality to all his guests, he came to greet our table & thanked us at the end. When we left he was busy greeting/facilitating other guests at the front, works hard and has great restaurant management. Almost forgot to mention Grace, she was the nice & super friendly host, whom took our reservation over the phone and share the lovely menus and restaurant updates with us! You won't be disappointed with this restaurant, they have good food, good drinks and they know how to run the business! read more

Do not go to this restaurant. I am from the area and decided to stop in for a drink before close and to catch the end of the game. I got service and all was fine until they were closing up. Within 1-2 minutes of saying last call they shut off all of the tv's. If your serving fresh drinks why is the entertainment shut off. I told the bartender who immediately turned on the tvs but wouldn't come back to speak to me as if i inconvenienced her, meanwhile patrons at the other end of the bar were stretching their necks to see the tv near me as theirs was still off. I couldn't get anyone else to speak to me and at that time I went to the bathroom only to find the just about full beer I just paid for at last call had been cleared. This was unacceptable. I am in the service industry indirectly now and have also been a bartender some years back. I would never treat a paying customer like this. I for sure will not go back there and tell every local neighbor about this piss poor experience. So sad. Not that many places to hang out near here. read more
