They still came back asking for my actual tax returns and whether my son lives with me full-time, which is illegal according to the Federal Fair Housing Act, specifically 42 U.S.C. § 3604 (Section 804 of the Fair Housing Act) and will be reported for CalDRE and HUD with proofs. This company is what wrong with the housing market and what will cause the next house crisis, they are bullies. I'm 37 years old. In almost 20 years of renting in LA, I've never been asked for tax returns -- not even when I bought a property. This is ridiculous. Extremely rude, invasive, and discriminatory. They're clearly looking for any reason to reject people. Complete waste of time. Stay away.

Meaning I now have to submit more work orders and schedule more appointments to fix the cheap lousy "repairs" your team does. It's not worth the trouble. I will be submitting my notice very soon and moving out. Can't wait to see how many things YOUR team has "fixed" yall try to take out of my security deposit.

Miko has assembled a team that over communicates and constantly delivers from vetting out potential renters to managing repairs and other items we could never do being remote from the property. We had a disappointing experience with other property management teams that said they had a local presence but operated remotely. Miko and team have exceeded our expectations and we fully trust and enjoy working together with them!!

Then arrived on site to a massive renovation happening next door. I called him to ask him to please refund since he was not honest about the situation and he told me to stay on site a night and we'd deal with it the next day, to which I said no. He then wrote a very nasty and misleading review on Airbnb about my stay even though I was only onsite 15 mins. AVOID! These are scammers only interested in making money, not honoring the guest. Here is proof he was lying: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1T3rjUNGn09JdJyrSXdBb75g3CTCHlWZ0?usp=sharing Also he wrote this nasty review on my airbnb (which is the only bad one out of 30) and it just shows what a misleading and disgusting person he is: We were disappointed with our experience hosting V. Throughout her stay, she expressed dissatisfaction with the property and, unfortunately, made repeated threats to leave a negative review. V mentioned that the scent of cleaning products was too strong, but we explained that we prioritize sanitization between each guest to ensure a safe and clean environment. This has never been an issue for previous guests. Additionally, she mentioned construction next door. We personally checked the property earlier in the day, and there was no active construction at the time. While it's possible the neighbors were doing light work, there was no disruption during her stay. Despite our best efforts to accommodate V and address her concerns, she continued to insist on a full refund and threatened a bad review. We ultimately had to reach out to Airbnb for assistance due to the ongoing threats. We always strive to provide a positive experience for our guests and are sorry that this stay did not meet her expectations.

You would be lucky to have JP as your manager. He is a fair person, kind, easy to talk to, and a…read moregood judge of people. He understands more than you would think of the people he rents to without letting it on, but this is an advantage because he filters people well when moving in- aka drugs addicts which LA seems to be rife with and they hide it very well. With his stewardship I never feared new tenants, and repairs were done within the necessary time frames. He was reasonable, accommodating, and a genuinely nice guy. He was never too in anyones business, or too in the way, while always being a consistent presence. I noticed a review to this effect: "I would have to agree I have attempted to lease a rental a few times as a Single Mom with a school age child and he is incredibly unresponsive --" I would like to note I am fairly certain I was the tenant rented to. I had inquired one day prior than the two others who came (two other women, and I distinctly remember the name plus the dates align) I was actually the first woman, yes single woman, to apply. Yes, later he found out my boyfriend would be moving in but not when I applied, called, and emailed. I called and made all arrangements. I left a voicemail as a woman and he called me back within 45 minutes. He asked me to wait so that he could get a larger group to show and then two others joined the next day. Both other women who arrived did not put in applications that day. I did so as soon as I left the apartment and got the background check done within 45 minutes. I was not discriminated against, I really think this is a misunderstanding, and a case of "early bird gets the worm." I don't know how the person commenting would even begin to know who was first come first serve, or who got it based on what, or how many showings it had. I know I waited for a group and he had other showings too. I had no issue calling as a single woman and chatting with JP. I would like to note I have really never had a better manager in Los Angeles. I just explored these reviews because I wanted to highlight him since I am so happy with him.

Management admitted in writing that another tenant was given a second parking space in error on their lease. They also admitted they recommended removing that space because it was causing problems. The vehicle associated with this improperly assigned parking space occupies an area that is not identified as a parking spot on the parking map that was provided to me by management. Instead of being parked in a designated space, the vehicle extends into the common driving and maneuvering area tenants must use to access their assigned parking spaces causing daily risk damage to my vehicle. Whats even more revealing about this company is how the issue was handled! I repeatedly raised concerns that the parking arrangement could present code, safety, or fire access issues. Rather than addressing the problem directly, I was told management was waiting on city inspection results and that those results could affect the outcome. Months later, I was informed that the inspection they had me waiting for was actually a habitability inspection and that the specific parking location I had been complaining about was not one of the spaces that was evaluated. Think about that! I was led to believe the inspection would address my complaint, only to later find out that the disputed parking space had never been reviewed at all. I spent months waiting for inspection results that never actually addressed the parking issue at the center of the dispute. Even after admitting the parking space was assigned in error, admitting the situation was problematic, and acknowledging that the disputed space wasn't evaluated during the inspection, management still has not provided a meaningful solution. I have attached screenshots of the emails so people can read the correspondence and draw their own conclusions. Based on my experience, get everything in writing. Keep every email, save every photograph, and document every interaction. The only reason I was able to uncover the inconsistencies in management's explanations was because I maintained a complete paper trail. Without it, this would have been reduced to my word against theirs.
