I found their services when I was searching for a place I could trust to alter my wedding reception gown (without breaking the bank). After asking around for quotes, I decided to give Elite a call. The woman who runs the shop was incredibly helpful: after I showed her the gown, she offered me a super reasonable quote and scheduled an appointment for the following week so I could meet the alteration lady and get my measurements taken. I was a little nervous about how casual the whole process felt, especially with such an expensive dress on the line (the store very much has a local business vibe and I got a handwritten receipt), but oh my GOSH, did they deliver. The tailor absolutely nailed it and the dress fit perfectly--plus both women in the shop were so genuinely excited and it was truly a heartwarming experience. Since then, we haven't had alteration needs but definitely go back to them with our dry cleaning. If you're looking for great value and even better service, this is your stop! Oh, and the woman who runs the storefront always offers you a candy of your choice on your way out, which is the sweet thing ever :)

The owners Vanik and Narine were so welcoming and kind and helped me repair my tuxedo and dress shirt that was ripped at a previous event. They took the time to explain to me what the repair entailed and made sure that I understood what could be done. When I came to pick up my clothes, they looked brand new. Every single item was repaired and sewn into its former condition and they cleaned and pressed it perfectly. I couldn't tell a difference from when I first bought it to when I picked it up. End of update ________________________________________________________________________ I have been a loyal customer of this dry cleaner for many years and have consistently trusted the quality of service--until my most recent experience. Last week, I brought in two pairs of denim. One pair was to be cleaned and used as a tailoring reference for a new pair. I prepaid for the services and was given a written promise date of 2/14 for pickup. When I arrived on the promised date, I was informed that my items were not ready. The employee at the front counter, who appears to be new, simply stated, "Sorry, we don't have your items today. You'll have to come back Monday." There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience of making a trip on the scheduled date, nor any effort to offer a reasonable accommodation. When I expressed concern, the situation became more disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility for missing the promised date, the employee turned the issue around and said, "You've been coming here for years--when have we ever made a mistake for you?" It felt as though he was using my long-standing loyalty as a way to dismiss the current mistake, rather than valuing it. Being a long-term customer should not be used against someone to minimize a legitimate concern. If anything, it should warrant greater care and professionalism. When I reiterated that I was relying on the written promise date provided to me, he escalated the interaction by raising his voice, speaking over me, and ultimately suggesting that I take my business to another dry cleaner in the future. Mistakes can happen in any business. However, how those mistakes are handled is what defines customer service. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected very poor service, particularly from the new storefront employee. It was surprising and disappointing, especially given my many years as a customer. I will return on Monday to retrieve my items and hope the matter concludes more positively. Depending on that outcome, I may revisit my review. However, the way this situation was handled was not appropriate and not the level of service loyal customers should expect.

I finally got the chance to utilize this facility. The credit card option is very convenient! The space is very clean and there's always an attendant on site. All the machines are maintained well and there's always ratio of out of service machines vs the working ones are minuscule. They have 2-load machines, 3-load machines, larger ones for linens and sheets, and the jumbo one if you're the type who prefers to stuff all their laundry together to save time! There are plenty of dryer machines you won't need to wait long to get one. The quarter machines are still in effect and who doesn't like the nostalgia? The only feedback I have is that (1) Tap option on the machines do not work at all. I prefer to use my Apple Watch to pay but since it only takes card swipes, I opt for the quarters instead. (2) some of the machines need a clean out as they're starting to smell like mildew. I have to increase my laundry booster to make sure my clothes won't smell like mildew when it's done. Hopefully that's in the works. Otherwise, it's a laundry facility i highly recommend!
