Choose an honest cleaner instead of these flakes. There are plenty good ones around here. They broke my sweater zipper. The zipper worked when I dropped it off. So, I returned the sweater for repair or replacement. When I returned it they made no claim about the zipper being broken before I brought it to them. They couldn't fix it so now they claim it was already broken. It was a slightly glitchy but if you watched carefully when starting the zip it worked fine. Every single time. These crooks refused to replace the zipper they broke and they refused to refund my money. So we see they 1) are cheap 2) are liars 3) don't stand behind their work 4) don't really care about their customers. If they respond to this review with a claim that they are not responsible, don't fall for it. The zipper was finicky but it worked! read more

Not only do they do an efficient job and their prices are affordable, their customer service is impeccable. My best friend had a dress emergency and needed it to be altered and steamed within two days. The owner was able to have it ready within a day and a half. This establishment goes out of their way to take care of their customers. The location is located in a cute little neighborhood. Although, it can be busy at times, the cleaners always have at least two parking spots reserved in the parking lot right in front of their store to ensure quick pickup and drop offs. read more

I have takin clothes for dry cleaning about 3yrs ago! I went back and found out it's a new owner and give them a chance. Most horrible experience ever. Went to pick up the clothes the lady in the front asked for my phone # for about 5 times and kept getting it wrong and then gave me my clothes I paid and left. When I got home my clothes smelled so bad I had to hang it outside because my house was starting to smell bad. It smelled like none filtered water on clothes. I took my 5 pants to another cleaning and the smell is still on the pants. Horrible service and ruined 5 new pants! Please please get filtered water and make sure the clothes are dry when you bag it !!!! read more

I have brought my clothing here for alterations over a handful of times and have often left completely unsatisfied with the results for numerous reasons and had to go back to Lucy each time and have her do a proper job. Issues I have had range from totally improper zipper for the type of dress resulting in a jammed zipper as soon as I tried to wear the dress for an occasion, improper sewing of hemlines making a dress bulky and wiggly at the edges, tightening certain areas of a dress but neglecting other requested areas, as well as my most recent experience. I took my dress in to have it shortened last week. As she was safety pinning the measurements , I told her I wanted it two inches shorter then that in which she said she would do. I went to pick up my dress this week - she handed it to me and I insisted I try it on. Unfortunately, her dressing room is not at all well lit it's very dark and a very tight space where you cannot back up properly to see how things look exactly . She asked me how it was in which I said it was fine . I got home and tried it on in a well lit room and further away from the mirror and the dress was too long , not at all what I payed money to have it fixed for. I called her and expressed the whole situation as I am here and she said she'd have to charge me again if I brought it back to fix !!! I relayed the situation again as I'm relaying here and her response was to tell me the same thing of being charged again. I told her she was providing unfair customer service in which she stated her customer service was great . I mentioned I'd rather go somewhere else if she was going to double charge me - she said I can bring in the dress. As I was folding it into a bag to take back , I noticed the whole dress was tailored completely unevenly in wiggles versus straight all around and parts of it were way shorter . And she wanted to originally charge me double to re-shorten the dress exactly how I wanted it. In other words pay double when she didn't even sew the dress properly! She just lost a customer ... had given her a few tries then stopped going at one point . I returned as it was less expensive then other places and I had a easy simple dress to shorten and thought she'd be able to execute it properly , but not only was it poorly done again , but terrible customer service provided on top of that. read more

This place has messed up once before and lost my button on my coat but I decided to give them another chance since they're so close by. They are full of excuses when they can't get a stain out. Once my dress was ready to be picked up, I took it home and was shocked to see that not only was it not cleaned but it damaged with iron marks and scratches everywhere. I took it back and the front clerk told me that sometimes it drags on the floor. I thought this was a dry cleaning service? The man said that they will give it another try. They kept the dress for an additional 1 week and called back and said that I can get store credit and that dirt didn't come off because it's stubborn dirt that's been there for awhile. I wore the dress once and brought it the following day for dry cleaning. That's a poor excuse for not being able to do your job properly. It was finally cleaned by a third party, however, the damage was unfortunately irreversible. I got it back after three weeks. I wasn't even offered a refund for all the headache. I do not recommend this place as a professional cleaning service. Look elsewhere. read more

Do not use this dry cleaner! I took a sport shirt into them for dry cleaning. I pointed a small faint dot (smaller than an eraser tip) of salad oil on the front, and asked them during the cleaning process if they could get this out? They said they would try. I picked up the shirt and it had big yellow discolorations all over the front of the shirt. They said they would try again. I picked it up again and the shirt still had the traces of solvent streaking the front of the shirt. This shirt is ruined. The owner basically said, "it's not my fault". He offered no further solution or compensation. I've never seen such a gross screw up in a cleaner. Be warned, don't use them. read more

My problem did not become apparent until 12/24/2009 when I tried on the dresses from the dry cleaners. I work full time as a financial adviser and have to maintain a professional appearance. I entrusted the cleaners that is located in Kenneth Village in Glendale due to its close proximity and the fact that it is located in the more upscale suburban Glendale area. I tried the dresses on roughly 1.5 months after I had them dry cleaned. They were two sizes small on me. I confronted the cleaners, husband and wife, of what had happened and they deny that such a thing is possible and that I had gained weight. However, sleeves do not become shorter even if I had gained weight. However, I exercise regularly and weigh myself every month. My weight has maintained the same. My father had confronted the cleaners in asking them who they send the clothes to be dry cleaned. The cleaners would not give the name of the company that they outsource to. After speaking with them for a half an hour i tried one of the dresses on with their presence as well as my mothers' and another customer, they saw that the dress would not zip up. The wife offered to alter the dress, since she also does alterations, to make the dress fit. I had said that I do not want my dress altered and want it in the same size that I gave them the dress or my money back. They went as far to blame me saying that I had washed them at home and taken it to them. These dresses are St. John cost $ 1,500 each the least, and I am far too busy to do laundry. Anyone who pays that much for a dress should know how to take care of it. They require dry cleaning and careful and special dry cleaning at that. Do not set foot here. read more
