I've been working across the street the whole time and didn't know this place sold food. I thought it was a quirky retail store but to my surprise, I found out they sell some very delicious bagels. I opted for the lox and you get to choose the schmear you would want I went with the olive tapenade which ended up being delicious..so excited to try something else...they also have merch to buy cute hats and hoodies and you can purchase the "schmears" in to go containers super cute place went back twice in one day

Nubeigel is a humble bagel shop located in the Cedar Lee neighborhood. The bagel shop offers hand rolled kosher bagels and schemers. The menu features various sandwiches (on a bagel), bagels, and schemers you won't find elsewhere. There's also a small coffee menu. Most guests take their bagels to go. The location is usually not crowded, there's really no wait. There is seating inside with tables and high tops. During my latest visit I ordered Biegel + Schmear (sesame bagel + Kalamata Olive Cream Cheese), Sausage Egg Cheese on sesame seed bagel, and two drip coffees. My order had a very generous amount of cheese and cream cheese. Kalamata olive cream cheese was very unusual and tasty. Bagels tasted very fresh. Sausage inside the sandwich tasted very dry and tasteless. Maybe it was overcooked, not sure. Coffee was ok. Prices at the location are pretty budget friendly especially if you're buying bagels in larger quantities. The most pricey option seems to be salmon sandwich. Service is just ok. It's fast but not overly friendly. I'd say it's very transactional. The shop has new merch available. You can buy sweaters, pins, shirts, and baseball caps. My only criticism is that the music is so loud and aggressive for the morning. One can't hear their morning thoughts while at this location. Something more loungey would go better with bagels.

We stopped by here on a Sunday morning and it was so amazing! I haven't found a bagel place that I love in Cleveland until trying out nubeigel. We ordered an everything bagel with capers/red onion schmear and smoked salmon, as well as an onion bagel with hot honey garlic schmear. Both bagels were so delicious. I wasn't feeling coffee that morning, but their coffee menu looks good. Their prices are reasonable and the service was super fast and friendly! It's a small shop but there's a decent amount of seating and while it was pretty empty when we arrived, the shop filled up 5 minutes later with a line out the door! I will definitely be back to try the other bagels. A new favorite!

Delicious bagels! I love pretty much everything I've had here. Especially love the egg salad!

Note to self: Visit Nubeigel right when they open because when I came in at 12:30 for some bagel and shmear, they only had like, 6 bagels left. This bagel shop is clearly popular because they were so low on stock on a random early Thursday afternoon. I can see why because my poppyseed bagel with harissa shmear was mega delicious! The shmear was chunky and generously applied on my big poppyseed bagel. Personally, I think it wpuld have tasted better on a warm, toasted bagel but they do not toast bagels there. The price wasn't too bad either at $4 but I didn't load up on extras which could quickly add up. Next time, I hope to get there early enough to try their za'atar bagel as za'atar is one of my favorite seasonings.

Cute place, good vibes, excellent customer service and delicious bagels and cream cheese! Visited for the first time this week and it completely lived up to the 5 star reviews. I was not positive what I wanted but Jack was super kind and helpful. I ordered the lox with red onion and caper cream cheese on a spicy everything bagel add tomato and red onion. It was next level! Because it was my first visit Jack also gave my husband a complimentary spicy everything bagel with a side of hot honey cream cheese and it was epic! I could eat the cream cheese by itself. Quality food and service. I'll definitely be back.

It seemed like the sort of place you'd want to get your bagels from, with classic elements of Jewishness including lame jokes between staff, as well as a mouthwatering smell. And while I waited a bit to eat my bagels, the flavor delivered a delightful savory-sour mix that's not easy to find in a bagel. They're salty, they're full of carbs, no one's calling them healthy, but they are delicious. And the topping options included "spicy everything" and za'atar, so you can really spice things up. I didn't see that they offered a ton of things as a restaurant, but bagels to go is a perfectly good niche to fill. I can toast them myself. I only tried the place because it was walking distance from my Airbnb and I had to wait for someone to move cars so I could get out of the driveway, and this place coincidentally popped up in Yelp's recent reviews. An illustration of how arbitrary the business is, but I'm happy that circumstances led me here.

I finally got to try this place out! I love me some bagels so I was very excited. I got an everything bagel with the caper + red onion schmear. They don't toast the bagels here, just fyi. The bagel isn't large (in case you were expecting them to be) and they spread moderate amount of schmear, coming in at $4. The bagel was very tasty as was the schemer. It's quite a drive for me but if you're in the area, definently stop by!

Cleveland is not a city that would come to mind when I would think about bagels, but a recent Tasting Table article rated the best bagels in every state. Of course nubeigel was ranked as the best bagel in Ohio. When I arrived, it was about 2 hours before closing, and they only had 4 Za'atar bagels remaining. The Za'atar bagel definitely did not disappoint. While not a typical flavor, it was nonetheless delicious with a Mediterranean kick. The bagels were perfectly doughy and clearly freshly made. My only wish was that the bagel was briefly toasted to give a slight crunch to complement the chewiness of the bagel. Overall, nubeigel definitely lives up to the hype, and I can't wait to come back and try other bagel flavors. Next time I know to come earlier in the day before they sell out!

Making bagels right behind the counter with an easy to navigate yet not sparse menu. Sesame, poppy, everything, and everything spicy in addition to fresh plain bagels. The vegan brownies they sell for $4 are super duper moist and fudgy. The lox was rich in flavor and dark pink and went well with the cream cheese on an everything bagel which was super super chewy and dense. The sesame bagel was also fresh and flavorful yet incredibly dense and quite a workout to chew. The poppyseeds on the poppyseed bagel are perfectly toasted in flavor and absolutely delectable on top. The tough chew was not my favorite but I understand it's a type. I heated the sesame bagel up and it became better/easier to eat after ten seconds.

It somehow makes the bagel experience more refined. I haven't been to this location for a while and was pleasantly surprised with recent modernization. They now have a more modern queue (that starts at the checkout), new shelf for delivery/to go pick ups (sensibly split between Uber Eats and DoorDash), and renovation of the dining room (with a new NY bagel signage) and ample space. If you haven't stopped in a while, you'll enjoy these changes. Bagels at this bagel shop are just okay. They're fresh and you can see them being made through the little window (the dough at least). But they lack uniqueness and are often very flat/smooshed. They're not bad, just forgettable. I ordered two five cheese bagels with bacon chive cream cheese. They were speedily made and were just okay. One thing I won't order at this location is iced coffee. It is extremely diluted and so gross. I walked over to Starbucks nearby just to get a better cup of coffee. The service tends to be polite but rushed. I wouldn't say it's partially warm or personable. I constantly get the sense that workers are pretty stressed out. The bagel shop contains a few tables and most guests prefer to linger. With ample room now, I can see it being very convenient to dine in. To go orders are very quick here. If you place an order through Bruegger's app it will be ready when you walk in. Some employees will remember your name. If you order in person, prep time is very quick. Parking is available in the little lot attached to the shop. If there is no room, look for street parking. Please read the signs, this area is notorious for parking tickets. I would recommend this location if you're looking for a quick morning carb fix. If you're looking for a more fancy bagel, look elsewhere.

You'll find interesting bagel flavors here (such as egg, cinnamon cranberry, and onion) and merch (tees, hoodies, Mish Mosh seasoning, greeting cards, and stickers). My order: - Asiago Bagel - Toasted with Smokie Salmon Schmear ($5) - Bagel was over toasted, dry, and too salty. Schmear was more like lightly whipped cream cheese, not flavorful. Barely there salmon is the best way to describe it. - Cinnamon Cranberry Bagel with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Schmear ($5) - Bagel tasted like plain bagel. Schmear very light on flavor. - Mish Mosh Bagel ($2) - Plain, not toasted. It's their version of everything bagel. I ordered this bagel because I overheard it being a popular choice while waiting for my order. It's way too salty, and I love salt. It didn't taste freshly made this morning and tasted not fully made inside. - Coffee ($2.50 for 2 small coffees): Flavorless and barely warm coffee. The menu is pretty well outlined on multiple signs at checkout. It clearly indicates up charges and premium topics. If you purchase bagels dozen, you'll get one bagel for free. Other options are sammies, bialy wheels, and bialy sticks. Most customers ordered baker dozen during my visit. Service: Service was alright. I felt a lot of pressure to order (especially as the first timer). Other guests were pretty rushed too. Checkout did not make much sense too. If you order a dozen bagels, they'll take your order in line. If you order a single bagel with schmear or sandwiches, you must go to the checkout counter and repeat your entire order. Service was quick, my order was up quickly and all customers were addressed in a timely manner. Parking: Parking lots are available in the front and the back of the store. The bagel shop is in a little strip mall area. If you're looking for a wallet-friendly bagel, this is the place to be. If you're looking for bold flavors or more standard bagel experience, it's probably best to venture out. I unfortunately personally didn't enjoy any part of my meal but appreciated the low prices.

But unfortunately I did not get to enjoy any of it because it was filled with a berry which I am allergic to. This was not indicated on the title card for the product. With these baked goods being high quality, they are on the more expensive side. So I was disappointed to spend money on something that I couldn't even eat. I realize that I probably should've asked but the food I was buying when I viewed it from the display case but this didn't cross my mind because the cake slice didn't seem to be an item that would have a filling. I would really like to try their cupcakes at some point... but do those have fillings too? I know I can ask but I have three severe food allergies and it just bothers me that the information I need isn't readily available. Especially in a place like this because it's very loud! Can be hard to communicate with the team members even during a non-busy time. Not just because of the way sound works in this building but also thanks to how high they crank up the music. TLDR: The baked goods are INCREDIBLE! I can't wait to go back for more. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be an allergy safe place at this point (display case labels are lacking) and it's very loud. When I tried to go back just yesterday the line was out the door and it was so loud that I almost got a migraine, so I had to leave and go somewhere else.

Finally, the establishment's sole employee wandered over with menus and water and thanked us for being patient... Really? And the bagel was okay after that. I could tell just looking at it that the coffee was going to be a real experience. It was as black as tar.
