Matcha tonic and pan de coco
    Diana C.

This was a really lovely little spot! The staff were very helpful and they have vegan options for pastries. It seems to mostly be pan de selva options which I loved! The matcha tonic was really unique. I'm not sure if I'd order it again but I'd def order a matcha and pastry again. The inside was a bit cramped and noisy/busy, so not as ideal for sitting and reading as I'd have liked. They might be dog friendly as I saw a little outdoor table though so bonus points there if so!

What a lovely shop in Seattle! My partner and I were searching for coffee for our last morning in the city and I came across Day Made on the map. I loved that they had a GF pastry offering - the honey quesadilla - and I'm so glad we tried it. It was absolutely delicious and the (I'm assuming owner) who helped us was super knowledgeable about what the pastry was - which I always appreciate. It wasn't just a random thing on their menu, it seemed handpicked to be a delicious GF option. The latte was probably the best I had in the city and my boyfriend's plain drip coffee was a good brew, too. If we had more time to hang out, we would've, since the place was a perfect mix of cozy and vibrant, so it would be a lovely date or catch-up spot, too.

Day Made is the newest coffee bar in Pioneer Square. Located in the former Fruitsuper location. A Copenhagen-style kaffe bar with specialty pour overs, espresso, tea and soft serve. Also carrier of Coffee Collective beans. Visited this charming cafe yesterday with friends from work. I can see sitting here during lunch with a book, drawing or editing photos. Wonder natural lighting, clean lines. Counter seats along the window up front along with tables on the main floor. There is an upstairs I'll have to check out next time. I enjoyed my espresso tonic very slightly sweetened with just a dash of apple juice. I like that it's all about the taste of the coffee at this cafe you won't find any flavored syrups, you may add a bit of simple syrup if you desire. Also found out chatting with Ash the owner, that Day Made will be carrying pastries from Ben's Bread and my favorite treat from Pan de La Selva their semita cause it is reminiscent of a Copenhagen dessert. Welcome to the neighborhood!! Wishing you all the best, love that you're located amongst galleries perfect timing with the Seattle Art Fair!

cute new coffee shop in pioneer square and it's worth the visit! ordered the apply espresso tonic (because as you know, I will always order a tonic if it's on the menu) and it was delish. I wish the tonic were bubblier, but that's on me. The flavor combination worked perfectly with Olympia's Sweetheart beans. The space was very cute, very hygge. Not that big, but enough space to take a seat with a friend for a casual chat. There's space upstairs too, but I didnt go up there to check it out. But i will be back to have a latte and take a peek around. 10/10 do recommend!

A surprising coffee oasis quietly nestled within the pioneer square district of Seattle. No syrups, no gimmicks, no nonsense. Just a coffee shop focused on one thing and one thing only, coffee. The menu is limited and focused, solely depending on the taste of the curated beans imported from different corners of the world. The beans truly do come through in the flavors of the brews. I had the espresso tonic with a splash of apple juice, a shockingly good combination of flavors I never knew I needed. My wife got the traditional hot latte with whole milk. Hers was strong, intense, decadent, and creamy as any good latte should be. The ambiance was influencer worthy. Perfect for a relaxing cup of coffee with a busy view of the city. A nice place to get warm during the long grey winters in Seattle. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was superb. This is one of the Top 10 coffee shops I've been to in and around Seattle.

Had a solid iced latte here, however, I waited 10 minutes to order because there was no cashier or barista around for a moment. Eventually a line formed, and we were all standing around just waiting for them to come back. Ordering was easy, menu is simple, and the interior is really nice. Lots of people doing work or hanging around.

natural pour over and rose hot chocolate.

Love Day Made! wonderful vibes and great quality. They always have a solid selection of top tier coffees. One qualm I have with lots of coffee shops nowadays are that they seem to want you to leave . Serving every drink in a plastic togo cup despite you saying, "for here." Day made says on the contrary. they invite you to stay a while and have beautiful dish ware. My mom loves the rose hot chocolate- she even wanted to get one togo for the road.

Lovely place to get coffee and affagato! One of the best affogots in Seattle. Great espresso flavor from the syrup and dust. Beautiful restaurant with decent amount of seating. They also sell coffee beans here too. I highly recommend and would come back!

one of the best pastries in seattle. cute spot, unique pastries. a little slow to moving line. above average prices for pastries even in seattle but i'd go back if im in the area.

Go for the Affogato if you want a summertime dessert. Line can be long in the afternoon but still worth visiting. Service was friendly. Nice space with a loft. For public transportation, get here via the First Hill Streetcar or the free Waterfront Shuttle. Closest light rail station is Chinatown-International District Station via the Weller Street Pedestrian Bridge or Jackson St.

    Ceremonial matcha lattes

This kaffe bar is so aesthetically pleasing! It's small with plenty of seating with an upstairs as well! I came on a busy Saturday with a line out the door and there was only one person working the bar but she was extremely fast and kind! I ordered two iced ceremonial matcha latte ($8 each) and it was made right in front of you. It was made with premade matcha which isn't always a bad thing but I would ask for an extra gram or two next time. It doesn't come sweetened but you add the sweetener yourself on the condiment bar which i love because you could adjust how you like it. Only one of my cups had their logo on it which is not a big deal but should be more consistent.

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

What I really loved is that the matcha isn't overwhelmed by milk. The tea itself is the star, giving it a rich, balanced flavor that really shines through. They also offer a small selection of bites to pair with your drink. I didn't try any myself, but my friend enjoyed what they ordered. Seating is limited, especially on weekends, but it's also the perfect place to grab a drink to go. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it to any matcha lover.

We ordered the matcha banana pudding and hojicha ginger tofu pudding lattes. Service took ~10 mins. The matcha banana pudding was yummy. The matcha was of good quality and the banana pudding top was a smooth, cream top that tasted just like banana pudding, with a fun crunch in the topping. The hojicha ginger tofu was a bit more adventurous in flavor. The ginger and tofu messed with my brain and made it feel like I was drinking a savory asian sauce/soup, but the drink was still sweet. I kept sipping, but the strange savory/sweet limbo never really balanced correctly to truly enjoy the drink. On the plus side, the silken tofu was fun to sip through the straw and added some protein. There is seating indoors, but the tables can fill up quickly. Some people were wfh, but most were chatting. There is 1 hr complimentary WiFi. Typical Seattle street parking. Overall, the latte flavors were fun to try and it was an aesthetic cafe. But, the prices for the lattes make them more of a novel, hyped up purchase.
