Gangnam Style were pretty authentic, honestly surprised me in the best way. I couldn't believe Spokane had a great restaurant like this. I tried multiple dishes, all delicious and very comforting. Hightlights including spicy fried chicken, crispy, well-seasoned on the outside, juicy inside, a perfectly balanced sweet-spicy glaze. Kimchi pancake was another favorite: crispy and slightly chewy center, and had a bold, tangy flavor. For main dish, I had spicy stir-fried chicken not as wow as the 2 other dishes but it's well seasoned and pairs really well with rice and side dishes. One of the free banchan was spicy braised tofu, very delicious I had to ask for more, cause it tasted so good with rice. The space is casual but comfortable, and service was quick when we got there. Portions are generous for sharing. What i love most is that it's right in downtown, so super convenient to get here then shopping. Overall, it's a great spot when you're craving comforting Korean food in Spokane. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes. read more

Service was fast and efficient. Our server, whose name we didn't get, was very great and accommodating to a special request we had. The ambiance was okay. A little plain and empty. But honestly ambience isn't too big of a deal for me. I got the sundubu, a beef stew. It was hearty, spicy, and sweet which was interesting I would say. There was green onion, tofu, eggs, and ground beef which I don't think is traditional but doesn't really matter to me. The black rice which was served on the side was super good with the stew and cut the sweetness down which was very much necessary. It wasn't my favorite in all honestly. The chicken katsu curry was good. The curry was good and smooth. The chicken was crunchy and had the nice flavor. The bulgogi was really good! The meat was tender and sweet. The black rice that was served on the side paired well with it. The spicy chicken was tender and juicy. The sauce was sticky and spicy. The outside was crisp and saucy. The snow crunch chicken was cheesy and sweet. My mom thinks it's mac and cheese powder with a bit of sugar, but I will say it was interesting and not in a bad way. (Looking back a lot of the food and drinks were overly sweet.) The drinks were... okay at best. The corn latte, I've had before were absolutely delicious! But this round was sort of just good. The flavor of the corn was too pronounced and there wasn't enough sweetness so it tasted like corn with milk. Last round there was also some sort of corn cereal and there wasn't any this time. The fresh strawberry milk was the best drink by far! It was refreshing and really natural. The dalgona latte was overly sweet and too artificial for me. The yuzu cider isn't a hard cider. I learned that apparently I do not like yuzu as it is much too bitter and pithy for me. All in all I would give the food two stars because it was so pricy and our serving were very small for how much it costed, but our server was great! read more

Been there twice & both times were amazing! The first time we had the Korean fried wings (Snow Cheese Crunch & Yangnyeom Crunch) along with the pork dumplings. They were all delicious but our favorite was the Yangnyeom wings & the dumplings. The wings were well seasoned with a hint of spice & lots of savory/sweetness balanced well. The dumplings tasted like they were homemade & were so fresh & savory. The second time we went we had the bibimpap with bulgogi & the chicken katsu curry. The bibimpap was delicious along with the banchan. We wish it came with a little more bulgogi though. The curry was good but not enough curry to soak up the rice that was at the very bottom of the bowl. That would be our only recommendation is to give us more curry soup for the bottom! Delicious! It's easy to do online! Simple and tasty Korean food! As someone who grew up with Korean food (half korean) I thought the rice and kimchi were excellent, which of course I'm going to critique ;). We ordered quite a spread and everything was deliciously prepared. Excellent friendly service from what looks to be a family run business. Our servers were so friendly. They had some computer issues at one point during the service which I thought they handled very elegantly. The interior is smaller but nicely laid out and clean. Everything was good, but not great. We got the Korean pancake, it was yummy but not fantastic. Little soggy, immediately fell apart. Then we got the snow cheese wings, which was recommended to us. They were okay. Not something I would get again. My husband got the bibimbap with added bulgolgi. He said it was "mid" compared to the others he has had before. Very sesame heavy. I got the spicy pork bulgolgi and it was yummy but I got quite a bit of meat cuts that were unchewable. The banchan was nothing special. Their purple bean rice was yummy. We got the dalgona latte and a boba. Both sweetened with a brown sugar syrup. Very sugary, but yummy. Service was also nothing special. The lady in the glasses approached our table multiple times with something in her mouth, which was kinda off putting that she was chewing something while talking to us. Ambiance was fun, clean, cool decorations. That was the best part. Overall it was good, but I don't think I'll be back. Glad to have another Korean spot in Spokane. My husband and I made reservations for 7 PM and arrived right on time. We were greeted by a waitress who asked us to wait in the waiting area while our table was being prepared. Another party of two arrived after us and was also asked to wait. After about 15 minutes, the waitress asked both parties to follow her, and she seated us next to each other. She gave us a quick overview of the ordering process (pressing the button at the table). After browsing the for a while menu, we pressed the button to place our order. The waitress returned to bring water for both parties, then stepped away to greet a new walk-in group without reservations, whom she promptly seated next to us. When I let her know we were ready to order, she reminded us to press the button--which we had already done--so she took our order then. The interaction felt a bit off--almost like we were an afterthought. Perhaps she was feeling overwhelmed or is still getting into the rhythm of things, as I understand the restaurant is new. That said, the rest of the experience went smoothly. A different waiter brought our drinks and seemed more experienced. Our food was delivered by the chef (I believe), who was incredibly kind and engaging. The bulgogi and pork belly were both tasty and well-prepared. I'm giving 4 stars because the food was good and the restaurant is still new. I'm hopeful that with time and training, the service will match the quality of the food. read more

Great find while visiting Spokane. I usually go to the Dog Bark Pub when I visit but found out it closed!!! I saw this place pop up in Yelp as a new place and gave it a try. I've been to many Korean food places in the US and Korea... and this place ranks high in my Korean food experiences. It was a gamble being that this place opened two months ago... but it played out well. The choices were good... I ended up with the Spicy Chicken on hot stone (Baekban) paired with the refreshing Bourbon cocktail. ... served with traditional sides: Kimchi, bean sprouts, glass noodles, and interesting brown/black rice. Everything was tasty and worth coming back for. The place was quite crowded for the few hours they were open in a Tuesday night. The locals have found a new diamond in the ruff. We waited more than forty minutes after placing our order and no food arrived, with no updates or explanations from the staff. The servers looked extremely busy and only checked on us twice the entire time, once when taking the order and once at checkout. Our soju came out quickly, but after drinking for a while I asked if the side dishes could be served while we waited. The waiter said they could only be brought out with the main dishes, which felt unusual compared to other Korean restaurants. Overall, the service was slow and communication was lacking. Such luck that we ended up here tonight! We had sat at another restaurant and left due to bad service and happened to wander into Gangnam and it turned the night around! Super fast, fantastic service. The restaurant was clean and there were lots of staff keeping things running smoothly. Server was super kind and checked in on us and helped us order, we would come again just for the 10/10 service and then the food came out and blew us away. We ordered the cheese chicken and bulgogi with banchan. Everything was so flavorful, fresh and hot and our food came out steaming hot within minutes of ordering. Bulgogi was flavorful with carmelized green onions and onions and my husband and I loved all of the banchan, especially the tofu and sprouts. My husband ordered the chicken and said it was one of the best chicken dishes he has had in a long time, we could bag up that seasoning and use it on everything I also tried the plum soju which was really sweet and tasty.
