Wow where to start... ordered online and everything was messed up. A sandwich I wanted toasted wasn't and a sandwich I didn't want toasted was. No condiments or silverware or napkins. Three basic sandwiches cost $40 and taste like your average sandwich. Not worth your time. read more

We love Nudy's: good food & typically good service. We stopped in today around 2:30 for lunch; they're open until 3:00. All of the wait staff and I assume manager were at the counter eating & talking; they basically ignored us. There was 1 table of guests in the restaurant. I asked if they were still open and got the reply "yes". We were seated and ordered quickly. The wait staff proceeded to start shutting down the restaurant while we had lunch; this was very uncomfortable. I guess when they say "close at 3:00" it means all Nudys employees exit at 3:00. We went for lunch and were seated immediately. After 15 minutes, no one came and took our order or even greeted us. Left without being served. There were other waiters standing around looking bored/for something to do. Usually have good service during breakfast hours, so this was unexpected. read more

Nudy's Cafe has always presented to me as a nice place to enjoy delicious breakfast and lunch. Although I have only been to the West Chester location once for breakfast, the Exton location, to my delight did not dissapoint. I actually went to breakfast with a good friend who is going to college to catch up. Service : The service was incredibly prompt. Waiters were very quick, friendly, and efficient. Food: Everything looked absolutely delicious on them menu, but since I was extremely hungry that morning I ordered the broccoli and cheddar omelette, along with multigrain toast (they have quite a few breads to choose from). The omelette portion was very generous (you will definitely get full) and the shredded potatoes were quite delicious... not incredibly oily but not too dry or too mushy. The toast was just regular, nothing special, although the liberal coating of butter was very delicious. All in all, the food was great, the prices were not that bad for the amount of food you got. Entire omelette cost around $6.99 To sum up, a great place to have breakfast with some friends, co-workers, family, basically anyone. there is something for everyone on the menu and you can always find some variety. We were visiting the area & used YELP to find a good place for breakfast. We were treated to a great breakfast at Nudy's. They are also open for lunch. I had raisin bread french toast & my wife had ricotta filled crepes. We both thought our selections were fantastic, I can see there are plenty of other good choices for breakfast. With such large menu for breakfast everyone in the party was able to get their favorite. Mine are the House Omelet (Spinach, mushrooms, feta and bacon ) or the Tuscan Omelet (Prosciutto, spinach, tomato and sharp cheese) both are served with Home Fries and choice of toast. A great place for breakfast or lunch -- Nudy's never disappoints. We stopped in for lunch and had huge salads and an order of quesadillas. My salad was of the southwestern persuasion with some spicy chicken. So delicious and so fresh. My mom enjoyed her salad -- I can't remember which one she ordered, but it had sliced tuna on top. Pretty impressed. I was craving pancake, so I decided to try local breakfast and brunch place. Place was clean and neat and everyone was very nice. Food came out pretty fast. I ordered banana walnut pancake. It was huge and full of walnuts and bananas! Very delicious and definitely satisfied my craving. My husband ordered lox omelet and was happy too. This place is HORRIBLE. Don't eat here. It's very crowded and the food is awful! We went here for breakfast a little while ago. The waitstaff kept disappearing and rushed to take our orders. The whole place was really loud and felt a bit claustrophobic. When we got the food - I ordered strawberries with crepes - it seemed undercooked and mediocre. Everyone else wasn't very satisfied with their orders either. It was barely 'average'. And when I found a huge hair in my food before eating? We walked right out. Do NOT eat here. Overall disappointing and pricey for the quality. We've visited about 3-4 times since moving down the street hoping our previous experiences were just flukes. But we always leave feeling pretty disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, but it's a little ratty/ unkept for being newer, lacks that cozy diner feel and most importantly the food is pretty unexceptional (even for a simple breakfast/lunch joint). When the bill comes, we always think there's a mistake (how can two omelettes and coffees be $40)? Skip this spot - try Green Street or The Coffee Cup Downingtown or anything in West Chester Borough instead. read more

Was not very impressed with my dining experience today. The wait for mine and my husbands food was rather long. We were not happy with service either. I've had a lot of folks tell me this is the local version of Uncle Bill's Pancake House (jersey shore). I beg to differ. The food and portions are fine - but nowhere near the variety. My side of scappple was thin, overcooked - doesn't come close to Uncle Bills. Butter and whipped cream on everything - if you like that sorta thing. I'm here about 37 times a week so they must be doing something right. Great breakfast and lunch, both served all day. Everything I have ordered is always great. My favorite treat is the Carrot Cake French Toast. Does get crowded certain days of the week for lunch. They keep everything moving so you never have to wait more than a few minutes for a table. read more

This was my first time at Nudys Cafe. The service was a little slow, but I think the waitress may have been new. She was very polite and accommodating, but slow to react. The customer services for this location is horrible! The girls in the front have bad attitudes and was getting loud with me my last visit. Not customer friendly. My wife and I have been to this Nudy's about thirty times in the past 4 or 5 months. We usually had a decent breakfast. Ok service. But this morning, and I'll have to say the last time I was there I had the same waitress with the same treatment, it was not acceptable. My wife ordered 2 scrambled eggs. She didn't want toast or home fries and asked if there was anything else she could have. Vicky, our waitress, in a terse reply, "No." Not 'what would you like?' or 'You could have this for an extra...'. Just "No." When my wife mentioned this problem, the manger du jour just nodded his head and said "We're sorry." I was paying the check 5 feet away. Take the eggs off the check! Do something. Say something. Pathetic customer empathy. Piteous customer service. You're a diner. Decent at best. There are, and believe me we've been to all of them, 6 other places for breakfast that are as good or better. We go here because I enjoyed the omelets. Not any more. I'd go to Taco Bell before going back here. You are in the customer service business, Mr Nudy. Period. Make your customers happy. If you didn't have such a high turnover rate, we would've been recognized as a frequent customer. We're there two or three times a week. That should be worth something in this competitive market. But you should have a revolving door for your managers and servers. We will never be back to that restaurant or any other Nudy's. Stop expanding and pay attention to the restaurants you have now. Second bad experience at Nudy's in Exton with rude, inexperienced wait staff! Will never return! Ordered Monte Cristo, no turkey in sandwich, always had turkey before, returned to kitchen. Same sandwich came back with a less than bite size piece of turkey. Waitresses response well that's how they make it. Never offered or received iced tea refills either. I have eaten at the Downingtown location 2-3 times (which I see now has moved to Paoli), and this location once. I always get some type of omelet and each time it has been very delicious! The hash browns are also very good. My friend has gotten pancakes with strawberries on top and it looked amazing! This is my favorite place to go for brunch in the area. read more

I always loved nudy's. I referred to lot of my friends and family as well to eat at nudy's as well. We also went there with my work teammates for lunch many number of times. Today i've experienced something which made me decide not to get back to the place again. Well, i understand that its a lunch/brunch place and the food is usually prepared the morning but i atleast expect the food to he preheated before it being served. I ordered the basic hash browns and they were withered already. I know that they are prepared in the morning but i wanted them to be preheated and atleast hot. When i asked the person who served she replied saying its made in the morning and nothing more than that. I would never ever get back to the place again. I am pretty sure that it wouldnt affect much to them if they lose a customer if not me there would be many others who can bring up their business. read more

We went here on a Sunday at 11:30, so I expected it to be crowded. However, we wanted to sit outside, so we were seated right away. I was more than disappointed by this experience. Let me start by saying that our waitress was excellent and was doing her best, but she was working triple the number of tables that she could handle. The service was so slow and when our food arrived, it was cold. I would have complained, but I felt sorry for the waitress, so we ate it and left. Our tea was lukewarm and only a half cup of water was poured and my friend's tea cup was dirty. I will not return - there are too many other places to eat. read more
