Where do I start? Truly. I mean...how does one convey how absolutely grateful they are for the gift that is Jocelyn and her team? Were I not as gifted with description as I am, this review MIGHT prove challenging. But given how absolutely accommodating Jocelyn and her assistant Sang were to me and my daughter, singing their praises will prove effortless. My daughter had a very jarring accident this Summer and was broken hearted when her (new to her) Nissan Murano she'd had not even a month was smacked into by an uninsured driver. After a very quick referral to Jocelyn and her 'Number One Auto Center' team, I was instantly embraced, welcomed, waited on, hand-held and given the most delicate touch to ease my worries and console my daughter. Not to mention, with all that they had on their plate, I was returned the car relatively fast! In fact, 'Number One Auto Center' did SSSUCH a good job, they kind of ruined the mundane and scratched-up-ness of my daughter's ordinary-looking beater as their repairs were done better than I could have hoped and now look better than the rest of the car!! So while I do indeed hope I myself don't ever wind up in any kind of wreck, should I make it through and my car not be totaled, I can think of no other repair shop I would want to touch my vehicle! welp folks here goes another bad review for number on auto center (lol). I have never seen so many unhappy customers and one star reviews for a business? Either Diane b is dumber than stupid or she fell into this business because she certainly knows nothing about it. (or she's in on it)? took the car here because the insurance company said they had a contract with Diane b. so its been over two months of getting lied to and the run around. They don't update on when the car will be ready, they give lame excuses when I call and ask, they have been paid in full by my insurance company weeks ago and still waiting for them to call me! This place is absolutely amazing, they got the repairs on my car done in a timely manner and went above and beyond on the repairs. They cleaned the inside and outside of my car and even organized the stuff in my trunk without even asking for that service done. Communicated repairs and estimate very well. Anais was a great customer service rep she ensure to keep me updated as far as the progress and finalization on the readiness of my car. Rena was the body shop specialist assigned to my case, she did an amazing job however I noticed my AC was no longer working she still assured me that she would place the order for the part so that I can return to have it installed. Sure enough within a week or so Anais called me to return and have this part installed I took a MONTH to return because of my hectic schedule but Anais said "bring it in when you can, we are ready when you are" I was scared that due to the time I took to return they wouldnt fix it but they did. I was told my car would be ready in a week an a half when dropping it off and it was ready in a week and a day. They did an excellent job! Body work and paint job looks great. I was really stressed when I found out my car was hit. I submitted claims with both insurance companies (my own and the other parties). To my surprise, both companies referred me to Number One Collision Center. This was a HUGE plus to me because I knew my car would be in good hands. My car was in their shop for 2 weeks. Throughout those two weeks, Larysa and Jocelyn have been extremely helpful. Both made sure I was taken care of each visit I had. Both also communicated with me during the repair process. I didn't think I was going to get that awesome of service (just with my luck). I would definitely recommend this place to others and will most definitely take my vehicle(s) back if ever needed! read more

I'll be short and frank. First of all, I don't believe Yelp reviews are accurate. People give 5 so easily. 5 means there is no one, but seriously no one else, who can do a better job than what they did. So, how do you know the job you see as done so excellent and cannot be done better by someone else? If you think they did a very good job, that means 4. If they do what they are expected to do within a reasonable margin, that means 3. Number 1 did what they were expected to do. I am not giving the details of myself, the job, dates, and the car. Otherwise, they call back and request more explanation so they can bump up their score. This will be biased. If you want to obtain a good score, just do your job correctly at once, not after many rework. The job was done at the end but it got some delay, needed some adjustments to repeat, and some minor details are missed. The bottom line is Number 1 is just a normal shop that gets the job done. That simple, no need to inflate the score. I guess when most of the Yelp people bring their Honda car and if the shop installs a correct Honda water pump - not a Ford water pump by mistake, that's enough success for them to give a 5 star rating. My experience at number one auto body was THE BEST! I was treated with care and respect from the first phone call. I was referred to this shop by my insurance company, and for good reason. They kept me informed throughout the process, and finished the vehicle when promised. The agreed upon price never changed and was lower than other quotes I received. I got a full paint job and WOW!! When I finally got my car back I found out (during a maintenance check up by Toyota that they installed the wrong parts and STOLE parts from my car. Every time i have issues with my car I always have my insurance send it here. They have always given my car back looking like new. I'll admit I was getting a little crazy during my most recent incident only because mom stress was getting to me as I had no transportation for work or my kids' appointments BUT that isn't an excuse. The people here are so nice even when I was angry for not getting my car back as soon as I'd hoped and I feel SO GUILTY for it my car had a part that was on national back order so I get it and I understand that isn't their fault. However, Audrey assured me that once the part becomes available I would be able to have it replaced with no issue like originally planned. Other than the part that was on back order, they were really attentive and are really good with communicating with their customers. Honestly even better than the insurance companies. The insurance companies neglected to give me any type of updates but my estimator Audrey and the rest of the team kept me updated throughout the time they had my car. There are simply not enough positive things I can say in this limited forum, but we can start with awesome, professional, quick, ethical, compassionate and just amazing. The last time I had to have car repairs Allstate recommended a list of "preferred partners" and being suspicious I naturally phoned my Audi dealer who provided an alternate vendor, which turned out to be such a disappointment. SO THIS TIME I LEARNED MY LESSON and went to Number One Collision Center, where I was treated with such professionalism. They explained everything, were prompt in facilitating repairs, and most of all gaining my trust and repeated business, by behaving in a manner which EARNS IT. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!! I was in a really bad car accident on the 405 fwy a few weeks ago and I had my car towed to Number One Auto Center since it was one of the body shops in my insurance's preferred network. My car was severely damaged - half of my car was gone and I was lucky to be alive. Everyone that looked at the vehicle had said it would be a total loss. However, Number One Auto Center said that my vehicle was repairable. I was shocked when I first heard that and spoke to the mechanic a number of times. However, they kept insisting that the damage "appeared" worse than it was. The insurance company even sent their appraiser to see my vehicle twice because, even the insurance company, had concerns about it being repairable and still safe to drive. But Number One Auto Center kept insisting is was fine and easily repairable. I had a really bad feeling and you know what people say, always go with your gut, so I had my vehicle taken to another body shop. I had it towed to Prestige Auto Collision Mission Viejo and I am so glad that I did. They looked at my car (and didn't even have to do a tear-down), and deemed it as totaled. Prestige told me that every car is pretty much repairable, but the damage was really bad and their body shop would not repair it. So warning, do not get your car repaired at Number One Auto Center - or at the very least, get a 2nd opinion from a place you trust. They will say anything just to try to profit from the damage of your vehicle. They will try to reassure you that there is a lifetime warranty on any work that is performed on your vehicle... but what's the point of a lifetime warranty if you're dead. read more

I had my car towed here after an accident per the AAA towers recommendation .... Big Mistake! They don't know what they are doing. They don't communicate with each other and apparently they don't know how to use telephones or they just don't have a problem hanging up on customers. I was told they would give me a ride home. I waited and waited and waited.... No one came. I asked the receptionist... He kept paging people over the intercom but no one came. I went back 3 more times!! I was ready to walk home! A staff member told her that the guys she was paging were not there! WHAT?!?! So the trainee receptionist drives me home. Awkward! I don't know if they do good body work. Maybe they do. This auto body shop swapped my battery for an Autozone Duralast brand. My car originally had a Diehard gel battery before entering this shop. I have called numerous times and they keep brushing me off. They keep saying they are going to talk to the production manager and I will get a call back. I never get a call back. I have to keep calling. The unfortunate part is that my car shouldn't have been there in the first place. One of their AAA drivers hit my car and was at fault. They didn't want to report it so they offered to fix my car. But this body shop still had the audacity to swap my battery thinking I wouldn't notice. I would not recommend this place. This business is very un professional, unorganized and unreliable. I initially took my vehicle to be estimated for cost of repairs ( roof and rear windshield of jeep) as they worked with my insurance and struggled to reach them after they concluded their estimation(didn't send me report) . Then when I scheduled an appointment for them to begin actual work on vehicle; I was informed they didn't record my appointment so had to wait until they were available. My vehicle was in the shop for over a month. While it was there they did not care for my vehicle leaving it exposed( jeep top off) to the weather ( rain). Finally I was provided with date for me to pick up and notified my vehicle would be washed and detailed. However, my vehicle was filthy in comparison to how I dropped it off. I was hoping I would no longer have to deal with them until after a few days when it rained I noticed the rear windshield wiper was missing the blade. I contacted the shop to notify them of their error and desire to have it repaired. I struggled to get a hold of them. Recently I was able to speak with receptionist and explored date/ time for my car to be fixed due to my limitations as I need my vehicle to work. I proposed 01/02/2023 at 8:30 AM and encouraged them to contact me if the date/time did not work. Today, I showed up and place was closed! It's understandable since a lot of businesses are granting days to employees;however, as business you should be aware or at least have the decency to contact clients to notify them of changes.
