If you are looking for a good hometown burger joint, this is the place. The food is fresh and delicious. Definitely not gourmet, but just a great greasy burger spot. I saw some people mentioned the service was not great, but that was not our experience. The girl at the counter was helpful and attentive. The atmosphere here is also incredibly fun. They have a video game/comic book theme on the inside and fun outdoor games on the patio. I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

Best burgers in town! Their food is awesome. The Arizona burger is my favorite. It's huge and I can barely finish it in one sitting especially with the generous serving of fries or onion rings or whatever side you choose. Their Philly cheesesteaks are also delicious. The burgers are awesome, and the Phili cheesesteak is one of the best we've had; rich and cheesy. The Butterbeer was good too. The Imperial Cocoa is made with hot water and coco mix, but the "storm trooper" marshmallows almost made up for the Cocoa. read more

Great little burger place...we have always wanted to stop on our way to Pinetop and I am so glad we finally did. Star Wars/Superhero/Video game themed restaurants are always a hit with us but these guys back it up with amazing burgers and shakes. A couple friends and I dined on the porch this evening. Wow, what a mess. Well for starts when you arrive they have all the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches scribbled off the menu which 2 out of the 3 of us was going to get. So after ordering we go sit... a good 10/15 and still no drinks or food. The food finally comes out and one order was wrong (they brought a plain burger instead of a bacon cheeseburger) so the girl takes it back..still no drinks. I go politely remind her and still no drinks...the "correct" burger comes out only it's STILL NOT a bacon cheeseburger. She takes it back again and finally brings the drinks. We asked for napkins and didn't get them for another good ten minutes at which point two of us were nearly done eating. At this point the bacon cheeseburger is no where in sight so she asked for her money back. The girls response was to check in a few days to see if she was refunded and if not call and ask to speak with a manager. Sounds promising right? She walked away as she said that so we had to go up front and let her know we needed to make sure she actually refunds her and not just blow her off so she just grabbed $15 out of the drawer and said "here sorry" the table next to us also seemed to be having more than a few issues too and her really was "ugh sorry I had a customer that just ruined my night!" Was that in reference to us? Idk but either way totally inappropriate in my opinion. Needless to say the food didn't make up for the service and we won't be back. I am totally understanding about stuff happening but how you handle the issues that YOU have control of. Sorry but the staff tonight doesn't seem to be able to handle it. read more

Sometimes this place has decent food (never great, but tolerable). Sometimes it's inedible it's so awful. The service is ALWAYS bad, the majority of the time the order is wrong (missing items, cheese when there shouldn't be, etc), and the cashiers tend to be rude. Definitely won't be returning any more. Had a couple bad experiences and tried to brush them off as bad days so I went back to give them another chance and the last three times have been progressively worse. read more

Nurd Berger Cafe - Burgers Near Me - Globe, Arizona

We found this gem online. Tiny shop with only 5 tables. The food was excellent. Green Chili Cheeseburger had awesome flavor with a perfect amount of heat, Mad Maxs Chicken sandwich was freshly cooked, juicy and delicious, I had my Bacon Cheeseburger protein style and it was amazing, cooked through and still juicy, plenty of veggies and great bacon. We also had shoestring fries, onion rings, and crinkle cut fries, all came out of the kitchen too hot to eat and perfectly crisp. I don't make it to Globe often but I'll be back here for lunch. Definitely would recommend it to a friend. read more

Let's start with the good. The Arizona burger with grilled hatch chilies is amazing! If we lived here we would definitely come back again. However if you're looking for coffee do not come here. Please do not be alluded by the extensive coffee menu. As there is no real coffee here. Coffee and got some very sweet thick drink made all of syrup. When we asked to get it watered down or actually copied down she told us that they don't make coffee in the summertime and she uses coffee syrup. WTF! Is coffee syrup?! Great ambience and cute courtyard to sit in. Would come back for the food but seriously how can you have such a big coffee menu and not actually have coffee? read more

Excellent food and menu. A group of 4 rock climbers staying in globe for 3 days we went there every night for dinner! However the second and third night they were out of ingredients such as mush rooms, ice cream and their pretzel buns that are regular menu items. May I suggest one of the three employees run one block to Safeway to grab the simple ingredients to keep your kitchen and the bathroom soap stocked. Friendly and pleasant workers and a quaint atmosphere. All in all still happy with the quality and fresh food. We will go back again. read more

Double Cheeseburger Ole-G Style is my go-to, though I've had the california style is a ringer as well. One of the best burger joints outside of Tucson or Phoenix and they are better than many that you'll find there. Definitely worth a stop if traveling through Globe AZ. read more

So good, so good!!! Well worth the drive. A friend of mine who lives in Snowflake and I, I live in Tucson, wanted to keep up our get-togethers for lunch after she moved, so we tried to find a place somewhere in the middle to meet and catch up. I came upon Nurd Berger and it had good reviews so we tried it. Wow, what a great surprise! The place is small but they do have outdoor seating and are hoping to expand. Hope they do as they will need the room! When ordering the server suggested we split the order as the burgers are really big. He was so right! We had the Raising Arizona burger and fries. It was incredibly delicious and well worth the drive just for that! If you live in Globe- I envy you having this great burger place!!! We will be back!! They also allowed us to take up space for a while to catch up and were incredibly attentive and gracious. read more

We stopped in on our way to White Mountains. Inside tables were all full but we placed our order at the register and picked a table in the shade outside. Things seemed a bit discombobulated. We heard the ordering iPad had to be replaced. Our iced tea sweetener was delayed. The food (chicken and fish, each with chips), was on time, hot, ample and delicious. I had Cajun, crinkle fries and Frank's hot sauce for dipping (the number of choices for dipping was excellent). So, food 5, service 3, average 4. Well worth a stop in Globe. read more
