Had a delicious banana matcha latte at Nuru when visiting Koreatown for work. The service was great; cashier was friendly and the interaction was quick and not too complicated. The banana flavor was fresh and very natural, which I enjoyed as sometimes it can be too artificial for my tastes. The space itself had a very clean and minimalistic vibe and aesthetic, which was nice. Prices are a little steep (around $10 for the cloud banana matcha with oat milk) and it was a little small, but I would get it again. Located in the Koreatown Plaza which is super easy to get around (and free parking is a plus!).

This place is pretty big and clean. Plenty of seating. They had a lot of merch and I'm happy that the menu was simple and not overly complicated. The people who helped us were super nice and our drinks were out in no time. We ordered the cloud matcha and it was the perfect refreshing pick me up.

Salted Caramel, Cloud Mugwort, and Cloud strawberry matcha

We got the salted caramel (not even on the menu yet ), the Cloud Mugwort, and the Cloud Strawberry Matcha. Every single drink was amazing!! I really wished they had larger sizes haha The cafe itself is seriously adorable. The aesthetic and music make it such a relaxing spot to hang out. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the drinks and the atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite cafe finds and can't wait to come back again!

Maple oat matcha is a must!!!

Not only was the espresso and milk combined really nicely, but also it was slightly sweetened with ?caramel, almost reminded me of sweet condensed milk. Overall it tasted like a combination of an American latte with Viet coffee! Staff were nice and friendly. Some bench seating on the inside but lots of tables/chairs outside. The seafoam green is hard to miss and pretty aesthetically pleasing in contrast to the shades of coffee brown. Street parking only. Would definitely stop by next time I'm in town!

It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too strong (but rich coffee flavor) and creamy but not oily, just so delicious. And the location is a nice spot too. It looked as much like an art gallery as it did a coffee spot. It is small but it has nice designated areas to work and relax. When I was there it was also quiet which is a nice change from a lot of coffee shops. And I believe it was the Owner who made my drink and she was very friendly and chill without being you know that kind of corporate-y overly effusive. The whole vibe could be summed up as relaxed. It's a really relaxed and relaxing environment. But if nothing else I will absolutely be back for that latte, it was *delicious*.

Walk by, and... you have keen eyes if you catch the sign by the door. Walk in, and you're welcomed by the most inviting woman who's ready to make you one of the best espressos and drinks from scratch. I'm not one to be venture out of a basic iced latte, but I knew I had to go for one of their seasonals when they had black sesame - unfortunately sold out! (Even at 11am... must be popular!) Somehow, some way, I had the privilege of trying their iced oat latte with black sesame foam. There was everything to like about this drink from the perfectly bold espresso - a good balance of nutty but toasty - but also a sesame cream foam. After getting the drinks, there is a quiet space to sit around and lounge about. Have a book or magazine? The couch is perfect. Have work to do? There's small tables in the hallway or even a large table and desk inside the private room. Comfortably enough, the ambiance itself is best described as open arms exclaiming "Welcome Home!" almost like a friend or neighbor is inviting you to their apartment for a cup of coffee. Wi-Fi and outlets are definitely available here. The only thing to bring to reach a flow state is your own set of noise cancelling earbuds. The walls and doors are indeed paper thin, and the traffic from the street does have a way of echoing and rumbling these walls. Other than that, though, my only bittersweet feeling with sharing this glowing review of Espresso Social Club is that finding space to work on future visits might now be a bit more competitive.

Cold brew vanilla: Delicious, I love that tou can see the vanilla cream on top. This was definitely what I needed to wake me up. 2. Matcha einspener: I tasted this and immediately loved it when leaving the store. I saved it for last. It was so light and refreshing. I could easily drink it all day if they had a bigger size lol. I was hoping to try the seasonal mango cream matcha, but sadly it was gone. 3. Pastries: I wanted to try the sampler but I don't thinking they had it yet. I tried one of the cinnamon pastries. It was soft and very cinnamony. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be back soon.

Travis was so accommodating, even though at some point we had taken over several tables (in our defense it was not particularly busy). Now, I come here sometimes when I'm not running late to work/have some extra time to spare in the morning. The space is set up great for catching up with friends (like we did) or getting some work done (I always see at least one person on a laptop when I drop by). There's a little parking lot right in front, and I've been able to park there easily each visit. I normally order some sort of cold coffee. On my most recent visit I got a blue mint latte, which was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I'm also a fan of the pastries. I've had some sort of tomato pastry and a jalapeño cheese croissant, both of which satisfied whatever savory craving I was having.
