Came to this plaza for an early grocery run and decided to try out Nuru and they did not disappoint. There are plenty of seats outside and a couple inside if prefer. You can't go wrong with espresso tonic. It appears they roast their own coffee beans and it went well with the drinks. The staffs were nice and the service was great. Stopped by at the ktown plaza to try a new coffee shop in ktown. Replaced oBeem coffee shop and is in the same place. Good amount of seats for groups and individuals. They have a good amount of coffee and matcha drinks. I wanted to try their matcha and got the cloud matcha since that had a cream top version. I liked it. Didnt taste artificial and after mixing everything, it was really nice and not too sweet. Also tried a biscoff matcha drink which was good too. Had chunks of the biscoff cookie in the drink. They have parking validation so make sure to ask. Park in the garage. read more

Came here after a visit to koreatown Plaza. This is a small, chic little café that recently opened inside the plaza. We ordered the salt bread and a matcha latte. The salt bread was incredibly soft with a rich, buttery umami flavor that was absolutely delicious. The matcha latte was smooth and well-balanced, making it a great pairing with the bread. The prices were a little steep, but that's pretty standard for the area. There was only one table available for sitting and getting work done, so it may not be the best study café. That said, it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and looking for a tasty snack and drink. read more

Taking over the prior space of Obeem, needless to say everyone loved free and easy parking in LA. For me also meant I could do grocery run at same time LOL. The space looked kinda similar as before with bunch of seats by the lobby area of the main plaza, and a couple in front of the order counter. Decent crowd but swift ordering process. They offered some pastry options including doughnuts, alongside with coffee and matcha. I have been reading most people hyping up their Toffee Nut Latte so I just followed the reco and opted for the Cloud Toffee Nut. I loved the airy and slightly sweet cream top especially that crunchy toffee bits. Would agree with the crowd that the syrup was lovely and the coffee was decent. Kinda pricey with milk substitute costing close to $10. Might come back next for their matcha! read more

This coffee shop recently opened in Koreatown Plaza, and my friend wanted to try it since we wanted to get a drink after shopping. I got the cloud matcha latte with oat milk and they also charge extra for oat milk. However, they do have validation if you park in the structure. The store was tiny with very little seats inside but there are setting right outside the store too. The service was ok, but the cashier was not very friendly. The cloud matcha (2.5/5) had a strong matcha taste but there was nothing special about it and not worth $8 for the size of the drink. read more

Had a delicious banana matcha latte at Nuru when visiting Koreatown for work. The service was great; cashier was friendly and the interaction was quick and not too complicated. The banana flavor was fresh and very natural, which I enjoyed as sometimes it can be too artificial for my tastes. The space itself had a very clean and minimalistic vibe and aesthetic, which was nice. Prices are a little steep (around $10 for the cloud banana matcha with oat milk) and it was a little small, but I would get it again. One of my favorite spots for a matcha treat after yoga Pilates! The Cloud Matcha and Toffee Nut Latte were both delicious and full of flavor. The location is convenient, with 3 hours of free parking with validation, which is a huge plus. The café has a chic, trendy vibe that makes it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Between the great drinks, stylish atmosphere, and easy parking, it's definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend! read more

Lots of seating, so it didn't feel crowded at all. I got the Biscoff and the Peach Yuzu Aid with a matcha shot, both drinks were honestly a 10/10. My only complaint is the biscuit crumbs on the matcha. They had a weird texture when you mixed and kept irritating my throat. I tried the Pistachio Choco Latte and it was so good! I've had some trouble deciding what to try in the past here because it often didn't sound as appealing to me personally, however the pistachio choco latte really caught my eye. They unfortunately didn't have a dairy free option for the chocolate version. I highly recommend to them to make one as it's really accessible! Nonetheless, the texture was delicious, and the topping melded together so well with the chocolate milk. It was a yummy start to my morning! My hot toffee nut latte was very good, wife enjoyed her iced matcha latte. Quick service, clean, nicely furnished and prices that were, you know, about the same as anywhere else. Would recommend if you're visiting the mall, but a bit tougher to get to if you're driving by. They are located by a street entrance at least. read more

We wanted to grab coffee after lunch in the plaza food court and stumbled into this place by chance on our way back to the car. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great new matcha spot in town. I tried the maple oat matcha latte, my friend got the black sesame. The maple oat is perfectly nutty and not too sweet, possibly my new favorite matcha in town? The cafe itself also isn't too crazy and loud the way Stagger and ROK are so we decided to grab a table and enjoy our drinks there. A+ for cleanliness and attentiveness. The owners both came by to make sure our drinks were made to our liking and dropped off napkins and straws which was a nice personable touch. We sat for a bit and decided to try some pastries too. I was stuffed from lunch but managed a bite of the custard donut and the salt bread. If you like soft, chewy bread that isn't too sweet, I highly recommend the salt bread. It was the perfect accompaniment to my latte, which already had some flavoring in the maple oat. Cool spot with great drinks and also nice to see this plaza is starting to fill back up with businesses again post COVID. Will be back! read more
