I've been to a lot of coffee shops, and unfortunately the coffee here just misses the mark. I've tried a couple of different drinks hoping it was a one-time issue, but they were consistently disappointing. The coffee tastes watered down, the milk isn't rich or creamy, and the drinks could definitely use more ice. It feels like the quality of the ingredients is what's holding them back. The disappointing part is that the food is outstanding. The biscuits and gravy were honestly the best I've ever had. If I were rating the breakfast alone, it would easily be 5 stars. The biggest concern, though, was the pastry display at the front. It was covered with tiny gnats, which is both unsanitary and unappetizing. Those pastries are being sold to customers, and that's something that should be addressed immediately. It's an easy fix that would make a huge difference. I genuinely hope they improve the coffee and take care of the pastry display, because the food is excellent and this place has a lot of potential. read more

Cutest little coffee shop I've been to in awhile! Lots of unique flavors to choose from! I will say, though as a mostly hot coffee drinker, they do not have as many options as they do for iced coffee or teas. I tried one of the barista favorites which was the rosemary Spanish latte, which was quite delicious! If they had more hot options, they would've earned a five star! Although most of their ice options can be made in hot, their specialties are in iced. Staff were helpful, but they did seem a little understaffed. It was our first time here. Can't say enough about it. I love the location, and we found easy parking right outside. They have seating inside and out. The inside feels so cozy and honestly, it's really pretty. We were lucky enough to grab the last chicken pot pie pastry and jalapeño and cheese pastry. They were really good and perfectly warmed up. Our drinks were the pretty in pink, a strawberry cold foam topped latte and the petal to the metal, a cold brew topped with floral cold foam. The cold foams are great and almost the star of the drinks, but the coffee is good. Like good good. My husband is addicted to iced lattes, he needs one every afternoon. When at home, he makes his own, but when we are out and about, he always needs to find a new coffee place to try. Last week we were running errands on a Friday and he wanted to try Hola Adios. I rarely drink coffee, but I am a sucker for chai. I am admittedly super picky and am usually disappointed when I try them at random coffee houses. But, I was pleasantly surprised here! I had one of the barista specials, which was chai, mocha, cinnamon and cardamom. I got it iced and I LOVED IT. The flavors were strong and all paired so well together. He also enjoyed his iced latte. What a great find in Old Town Tustin. hola Adios is located in the heart of Old Town Tustin. It's the perfect spot to grab either a coffee and a pastry or sit down for a heartier meal. I chose a coffee and pastry to go as I wanted to walk around old town. The coffee menu has all the classics plus several inventive and unique specialties. I chose the "Ceci" = cinnamon brown sugar vanilla oat latte. Soooo good. I added the strawberry Nutella strudel pastry (warmed up of course) and oh my gosh! It was heavenly. My barista was super friendly and both my drink and pastry were ready in no time. The building the coffee shop is in has a charming red exterior, a side patio, back patio, and indoor seating. This place looks small and I guess in a way it is but there were plenty of sitting inside and I know there is seating outside as well. This place was definitely busy and the long got long after I arrived before noon on a Sunday. Even though there was a line I thought that the staff were fast and efficient. I think I waited maybe 5 minutes or less for my food. I ordered a jalapeño ham and cheese pastry and the bacon sandwich. I have had this coffee shop on my radar for some time, finally got to go today. Aesthetically very very cute. Big Austin, TX vibes, if you've been there, you know what I mean. They're just missing some live music. They have two patios, one out back and a smaller one up front, as well as tables inside. It gets very crowded, so be prepared to wait. There was additional seating outside which was nice We ordered a hot Almond Milk Latte, the Aveline's Iced Oat Coconut Dirty Chai, a Barbacao Biscuit Sandwich, and the green salsa chilaquiles. The food and drinks took a little bit to come out (interestingly our food came out first), but the overall wait wasn't too bad. The Almond Milk Latte was very good, rich, creamy, and the espresso flavor really came through. The Aveline's was really good also and not too sweet. It had a good amount of cinnamon to really make the drink special. Now to the food. We didn't have high expectations given that it was a coffee shop, but boy were we surprised. The chilaquiles was solid, egg cooked well, and just the right amount of tartness. But the real star was the Barbacoa Biscuit Sandwich. I was worried that the biscuit was going to be dry and dense, but it was neither. The biscuit was definitely something I would buy and eat alone. The barbacoa and fillings were also yummy. The dreamsicle was AMAZING. the cold foam on top was addicting and the coffee did not taste too sweet or too bitter. Perfect balance. Their matcha I got iced with the syrup and whole milk. It was perfectly mixed and just a delicious drink. We didn't get any food but we saw some plates as we walked by and they looked amazing so we will have to try it next time. The drinks were also delicious. However, I they came out to be almost $10. There's no price transparency on their specialty/seasonal drinks. It doesn't matter how tasty they were, it just felt a bit too steep. I didn't watch the math closely, but the final bill was $50+. I was standing in the wrong spot for ordering but they were very sweet in letting me know that when I was ready to order they can take my order around the corner. stopped by this morning on a whim and it's little places like this that make me love old town tustin! it's a quaint little shop, and it was fairly filled with patrons for a wednesday morning. they have a variety of food options and coffee flavors, which i really appreciated. i loved that they had seasonal drinks on top of the barista recommendations. i took everything to go, and i really liked it! the quiche was so flaky and flavorful, it practically fell apart if i picked it up. i also got the avocado biscuit sandwich, which was a little dry for my taste, but i likely just needed to add more sauce. the coldbrew was a nice little holiday delight. i'm usually more of a latte girly but it was something that was a nice change of pace! it seemed a little watery but the flavor itself was great! very cute shop, very nice stop :) read more

I am the biggest fan of neighborhood coffee shops, and Hola Adios definitely an epitomizes a neighborhood coffee shop. I ordered a latte and it is a very light roast... dare I say it .... too light. It was hard for me to taste the coffee. I don't know what went wrong but if I come back I will have to try some other drink with more "umf". They definitely have a bigger selection of drinks so I'm sure there is a better drink out there for me. They offer homemade syrups and house baked strudel pastries in sweet and savory options. I got the chocolate strudel which is on the sweet side to enjoy with my latte. They were able to use my reusable cup. Additionally they have an Interesting brunch menu. It's casual and there is parking early in the morning. Inside seating area is creatively built out and the decor is charming. Merch can be found everywhere if you are looking for some souvenirs. This is such a charming spot and a local favorite. I love their Mexican inspired decor. The indoor seating is a bit limited, but there are more seats outside. I was impressed by their breakfast menu with so many great options. We ordered the avocado toast and the chilaquiles with green sauce. The avo toast was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. My husband loved the chilaquiles and said they had an authentic Mexican flavor. Just a heads up: the green sauce is very spicy. If you are not a fan of spicy food, try the red sauce or ask for the sauce on the side. The iced mint mocha was refreshing and not too sweet. I also enjoyed my cortado with oat milk.
