The store was busy. All the workers were busy. But they all made sure to greet every customer & follow up with offers of help. The building's above 100 years old. It reminded me, while I was waiting, of the small town hardware shops my grandpa & I would hit when we needed supplies between roofing jobs. That was a great memory for me. Those background places in the past gather importance when folks are gone. Small shops navigate the big box waves through specialized products & good customer service. We are left with a broken garage door opener, unable to use the garage, and Angi services wants us to hire a professional to fix their botch. They will then repay us our costs. Mean while we are paying interest on the installation fees, they are not included on the six months same as cash. This was also not disclosed to us. Lesson learned. Avoid Lowe's at all cost!
