I put in a service call to Drainage Erosion Solutions and they responded almost immediately. Within 24 hours my problem was fixed and everything was running smoothly with no danger of flooding. I would like to thank everyone everyone at Drainage Erosion Solutions and especially ROB for going the extra mile to help!

I wanted to take a moment and recognize an amazing team!  I had Drainage & Erosion Solutions put in a 100 foot swale recently.  I had high hopes due to my own thoughts and initial conversations with Rick Wrieden one of their expert project managers.  You'll find him extremely knowledgeable and friendly.  Victor, their foreman, and team exceeded every expectation!  They not only put in something very functional but also aesthetically beautiful.  They are true craftsman!  They walked me through what they were doing and answered any questions I had with thoughtful in depth answers.  I highly recommend using Drainage & Erosion Solutions!  They make it easy!  From design to execution.  You get a lot of value for your money and they make quick work of it. sincerely, Ronald McGrath CEO

Discharge into gutter after installation of drainage system 2/24/21

Things started off well enough. They were a bit pricy, but I assumed high quality work and responsiveness would go along with it. I was disappointed. The initial installation went well enough, but they left the areas they dug up a complete mess. After pointing this out to management, they sent a crew back later to lay new grass and most of it lived. The main issue and reason this review is so late is the drainage pipe into the street. They only cut enough out of the curb to lay the pipe and attempted to patch it or something, instead of laying new concrete correctly. Over a year later and it's still a mess. I've contacted them several times about it and I've been given lots of promises and apologies, but as you can see it's still an issue. I imagine the City may have something to say about this as well, but I won't go there.

I stand by my review. My experience with Value Dry Waterproofing was deeply disappointing and, in my opinion, professionally and ethically unacceptable. I hired Value Dry for approximately $12,000 of foundation, masonry, sill/bearing, debris-removal, and structural-support work associated with getting my house properly back onto its foundation. I paid approximately $8,000. The agreed work was not completed. The most important facts are not allegations. They come from Value Dry's own written communications. JULY 13, 2026: Value Dry President James Ketterer met with me and prepared a written agreement addressing work that still remained. JULY 14, 2026: Mr. Ketterer put the remaining work in writing, including: * Installation of two Lally columns * Removal of the existing block columns and associated debris * Patching 12 openings with block/cement * Removal of concrete debris He also wrote that Value Dry was "working to bring your project to completion as agreed to in the agreements dated 6/20 and 7/13/2026." Those are Value Dry's words. Mr. Ketterer also acknowledged in writing that Value Dry's employee had not followed the proper change-order procedure. He explained that the unforeseen work and associated costs should have been detailed in writing and presented to me for my signature before proceeding. That admission is important. During the project, demolition and foundation-related work had already occurred when I was subsequently told that another approximately $1,500 would be required to restore openings. I disputed that charge because I had not approved it beforehand and asked Value Dry to explain in writing why that work supposedly fell outside the original agreement. This is exactly why written change orders exist. A homeowner should not be placed in a position where part of the house has already been opened or demolished and only afterward be confronted with an additional charge that was never approved in advance. Value Dry's Vice President of Operations subsequently confirmed that a crew was scheduled to return on July 21 to continue the work. Then something changed. JULY 17, 2026: Before the scheduled return date arrived, Mr. Ketterer canceled Value Dry's return, stated that Value Dry would perform no additional work, and declared that the payments already received represented adequate compensation for "the work completed." Those words matter. He did not say that all agreed work had been completed. In fact, only three days earlier, Value Dry had specifically identified work that still remained and stated that it was working to bring the project to completion. That is the central contradiction Value Dry should explain. Instead, its public response attacks me personally, discusses another contractor, speculates about my motives, and characterizes my communications as "harassment." None of that answers the documents. If Value Dry is going to publicly accuse a customer of threatening its president, then it should state exactly what was allegedly said, when it was allegedly said, who witnessed it, and what contemporaneous documentation supports the accusation. Yes, the July 13 discussion became heated. I have acknowledged that. But what happened afterward is highly significant: Value Dry still memorialized an agreement, identified remaining work in writing, acknowledged a failure in its change-order process, scheduled a crew to return, and continued discussing completion of the project. That documented sequence is difficult to reconcile with the dramatic characterization Value Dry is now presenting publicly. Value Dry also suggests that I demanded work beyond its obligations. Again, its own July 14 written communication says otherwise regarding the columns, openings, demolition, and debris work that Value Dry itself specifically identified as remaining. Value Dry further claims that the amount of money it retained was "fair and reasonable." Then provide the accounting. Show: * The total amount Value Dry retained * The work actually completed * The labor attributable to that completed work * The materials attributable to that completed work * The value assigned to each completed item * The work Value Dry acknowledged remained unfinished * The value assigned to that unfinished work Calling an amount "fair and reasonable" is not the same thing as demonstrating that it was fair and reasonable. Maryland Judiciary Case Search also publicly displays numerous court case entries involving VALUE DRY LLC / Value Dry Waterproofing over a period of years. To be clear, the existence of a court case does not itself establish wrongdoing, and I am not claiming that every case was decided against Value Dry. Anyone inte

And then they kept happening, getting larger and spreading throughout the entirety of the house, and we could no longer open the doors in the basement and 1st floor on the south side of the house. Alarmed, I called a civil engineer and had an assessment done. They ascertained our house was sinking, particularly in one corner, and recommended ~30 push piers around the perimeter and up the centerline of the house... for over $100k. I literally laughed at him and asked him who he thought I was that he thought I could afford that. I called a few other places and got questionable assessments, and then I spoke with Yos from DMV. What a breath of fresh air. He was personable and honest. He recommended we get a 3rd party civil engineer to produce a report with drawings that I could use for any foundation company - even if I didn't go with DMV. We (finally, after a loooong delay on the civil engineer's part) got the report and drawings, and Yos and his team began work in early January to install ~10 helical piers on the sinking corner of the house. It was a pretty invasive project, but his team was fantastic. Fast forward 5 months and the cracks have stopped appearing, with a number of them even closing. We are very satisfied with the work DMV did for us, and are particularly pleased with their honesty. Where one company tried to sell us an overkill solution for six figures, Yos was upfront and told us what we really need - to address that affected area and revisit others if they end up being an issue - for roughly a quarter of the other company's price. That sort of honesty and pricing earns a permanent spot in my trusted contractor list.

My sump pump discharged a significant amount of water, which created ice on the street during the winter and damaged my lawn. I also asked them to address a small uneven area around my sprinkler system. The team explained that they would regrade the area, use my existing soil, and plant grass seed, which I was completely comfortable with. They completed the entire project in just one day. At the end of the day, they sent photos of the finished work to the owner. Although I thought everything looked great, the owner wasn't satisfied with the appearance of the hay covering the newly seeded area. Even though installing sod was outside the original scope of work and would have been a much more expensive solution, he decided to go above and beyond. The very next day, he sent his crew back with fresh topsoil and sod at no additional cost. They added topsoil around my home to improve the grading and ensure water would drain away from the foundation. They even moved my stacked firewood, added topsoil underneath it, and carefully put everything back in place. When they finished, they watered all of the new sod, adjusted my sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage, and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. My yard honestly looks better now than it did before they started. Premium Drainage was not the cheapest quote I received, but they were also not the most expensive. What set them apart was their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for drainage work or landscaping improvements.

They even worked around a bit of a curveball without needing to deviate from the estimate. Outside, they dug a 22-ft trench and installed a french drain to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure on the basement wall, routed our HVAC condensate line into the french drain, installed 2 new window wells which allowed them to grade the yard away from the house, and installed another french drain on the far end of the garden to help mitigate the flash flooding we experience there. They finished up by laying fescue sod over the affected area, making it look nice and clean. All of the work was done in two days, with some minor cleanup work on the 3rd day after the concrete had cured in the basement. The price was good, the guys worked hard, the work was done on time, and the final product was excellent.
