We were driving around late at night after hitting a local arcade , looking for a quick bite . They sell pepperoni and cheese slices . We tried a couple pepperoni slices . Pizza was alright , nothing exciting , but no major complains . Pizza could use some more flavor , but it did hit the spot and we did not leave unsatisfied. Maybe in the future we will pass by again and try a whole pie in store . I would love to try it fresh out the oven . They are open very late , they close at 5 am haha so definitely give them a try if you're looking for some late night pizza ! They do have a couple tables inside even though it's a very small dining area . Service was pretty friendly . . They have a huge menu .

I don't know what's with all the bad reviews but I was hungry at 4 am and just ordered their pizza. Their dough tastes so good and it was genuinely one of the best pizzas I've had. Ordered without sauce and got peppercinis on half bc I have a garlic allergy and was still incredible. Don't listen to other people, give them a shot if you're considering.

Ordered for some late night cravings. It was about $60 before gratuity for two can sodas, one Medium pizza, and 14 buffalo wings. The pizza itself was okay but even requesting for the crust to be well done (so it's more crispier), it still felt very soggy. It's likely because our delivery driver went to the wrong address so it delayed his arrival time which meant more time for the pizza to steam inside the box. The wings were decent but we could tell they looked and tasted old -- old as in likely prepared in the AM or the day before and then served as ordered by just simply popping them into a microwave. Was it decent and got us through a late evening hunger and craving moment? Yes. Would this place come top of mind the next time we want pizza while in the area? No.

Pizza is great , DONT ORDER THE MOZZARELLA STICKS Overpriced, and generic they're literally the ones that we don't like as mozzarella stick connoisseurs . Service is eh but who cares I don't mind it . Brooklyn is meaner. As far as the ambience the place is crawling with tall transsexuals after midnight . Just order out its sketch, but the pizza is good. But the MOZZARELLA STICKS AN ABOMINATION.

For a place open until 5am and with not the best reviews, I was shocked by the quality! Seriously high quality and really blew my expectations out of the water. I've never had a pizza place NAIL their sides/ secondary dishes (pasta/wings/salad.) I'm so sad they're super close to my house because I already know I'm going to put 15 pounds back on by finding them. Literally still thinking about the vodka penne 2 weeks later, so random. The place itself is quaint and small, but just grab it and go home. No frills, all business, just see yourself out and enjoy the flavor. I must imagine most of the reviews are about service/ambience. Listen - if the food is bomb, that's all that matters. This ain't a date night spot, this is a game night and good times spot.

Tried a slice here and it reminded me of classic NYC-style pizza, thin, foldable, salty in the best way. Not fancy, just good.

I always order white pizza and Caesar salad! This time I tried pepperoni pizza with hot honey and Tuna tartar. Both dishes were great! Frozen spiritz is the must during a hot summer day!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. The edges of the crust were nice and crispy, and you can taste the toasted cheese on the edges of the crust. SO good. We both decided that this was the best flavor of the night. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. It was a bit spicier than expected, so be prepared to *actually* taste the heat when you order this one! It's tasty and the crust for this one was also banger, but (IMO) pales in comparison to the Sicilian. Would gladly come again for the Sicilian!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

I finally went back and tried one of their vegan pastas I hadn't tried before, and there was meat in it (pancetta). The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.
